The Menewshan Birthday Brigade! Announcement pg. 28!

Everyone has a birthday, and we at the Menewshan Birthday Brigade want to make sure that yours is the best it can be! After all, it only rolls around once a year! Every day (in Mene time) the Birthday Brigade sends 100g to each user whose birthday it is! It's our small way to give back to Mene and give you a little spending money to buy yourself something purdy for your avatar! If you get a gift before or after your birthday, this might be because we operate in a different time zone than you. Please don't be mad! We can't be all over the world at once you know! :lol: We operate in Menewsha Time (U.S. Central), and typically donations go out between 11am and 4pm. Previous days' drawing entries are also entered at this time. I am currently adjusting to a new school schedule. It is not uncommon for those of you in the Eastern Hemisphere to receive donations a "day late." Is your birthday still far away? http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y20...B/donating.png We understand that potential donors might be concerned about whether or not the charity funds go to "legitimate" accounts, since donations are automatic each day. To ensure that the funds are not abused, we have established a set of rules that we follow when we consider making donations to a given account. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y20...BB/donated.gif Only AA's can change users' birthdays. Although this isn't a rule we made, this prevents users from changing their birthdays to exploit the system by getting multiple donations any given year. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y20...BB/donated.gif Accounts we donate to must be at least three weeks old, have at least 50 posts, and have been active* some time within the week before the birthday. This prevents us from donating to abandoned accounts, or to new users who may post a lot right after signing up but never again. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y20...BB/donated.gif We will make every effort we can to avoid donating to mule accounts. We check a number of things to find evidence of mule accounts, but we don't have moderator powers and cannot be absolutely certain if an account is a mule. We ask that users be honest and return gifts that are accidentally sent to mules. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y20...BB/donated.gif We reserve the right to make more rules at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. Usually we'll add rules in reaction to users who find new and creative ways to abuse the charity. *Active is defined as having posted in a publicly viewable forum.
