- All written pieces should be between 250-350 words. This is a tabloid, after all! Short and sweet should do the trick. All submissions are due no later than April 1st. (Don't have time to submit anything right now? S'all good, Mene's tabloid will be running multiple editions, so you'll have lots of opportunities to submit your writing and artwork again in the future.) |

We're here to narrow your focus and give you some ideas. For the next edition of the tabloid, please choose one of the following topics to write about: ---> Your favorite Mene-related memory from this past year This tabloid will be representing all the juicy gossip around Mene, both in terms of NPCs and the user base. Make up silly stories, report on actual events around the site and even break the fourth wall if you wish. And it's official, I MUST DO THIS! -and not because I was watching The Hobbit commercials on Hulu when it suddenly switched to a trailer for Struck by Lightning the second I clicked this page- [ninja] No seriously, the minute I started reading about this event, a trailer about kids who write a gossip article in their school because their writers club is treated like crap, started playing in the background.... I love serendipity!

Sure! Tabloids are all about digging up the dirt on people, so if you happen to spy a particularly WTF?!? event around Mene (even if it only happened in your head), then be sure to tell us about it! [ninja]
The "What to Write" sections is more like a general guide of what we plan on including in the tabloid. If you happen to think of something different or exciting, but it still suits the general theme of a Mene gossip rag, feel free to submit it. |
