As you might remember, last year I started a thread asking for feedback about roleplay features. We got some great feedback, and spent a lot of time researching your concerns and desires.

At the end of it, it became pretty evident to us that a lot of what roleplayers wanted, was hard to give you because of our rules designed to stop people spamming for gold. Things like image heavy posts don't fit well here. We also found a lot of features on other sites that were suggested, didn't fit well into our site either. Then there is the whole adult content debate, and having moderators need to read everything that is written. Bottom line, Mene just wasn't the place to give you all everything you wanted.

So, with a bit of help from a few of the staff here, our awesome CK has developed a very awesome alternative. WTF RPG is the culmination of all the best features, and rules that we could come up with. It has sections for adult and PG13 roleplay, without subjecting minors to adult content unintentionally. It has a very nifty roleplay management system also.

So what is WTF RPG's relationship to Mene? Think of it like a distant cousin. We officially don't mind if you link to it, or in the middle of your games say "ah, this is getting a little too hot and steamy, lets take the next few paragraphs over to WTF".

I've created this thread for CK as she is currently detained by elderly vampires on holiday, but WTF really needs testers. The site is new, so it doesn't have much activity yet, but if you would consider starting a roleplay over there, and give some feedback about the system, it'd be greatly appreciated. Who knows, we might even be able to merge some of the features into Mene if we get enough interest in them :)
