I would love If i Could have a song auto play when people visit my profile or a video Just wondering if you are ever planning on updating the profile code to support it?

You need a license to be able to do that :) Costs a lot of cash, which Mene doesn't have :ninja:

oh i see I was thinking you could do it with some profile tweaking systems? similar to gaia. I wasn't aware it costed money to do that wouldn't an experienced coder be able to do it?

I understand wanting to be able to embed a video or song in a profile but why in the world would you want it to autoplay? Whenever a website takes control of your speakers without your direct input that's really kind of not a good thing.

Actually I'm not sure if jellysundae is talking about the license being for just the autoplay or for the embedding in the first place so maybe this is a moot point.

I want it to autoplay 1 song for my profile like gaia used to do that was one thing gaia did correctly good profile coding allowed alot of possibilities even using flash to do them.

autoplay would be nice cuz it would like be a theme for yourself for people to hear when they go to your profile.

You need a license to have a music player on the site. Which is what you'd need for playlists. The profiles as they stand don't have the ability to support autoplay music, and, to be honest, when people have posted requesting that before we tend to get a barrage of other people yelling, "please, no :gonk:"

So we're in a tough place with regard to this.

If I wanted to listen to your music, I would press play. Don't force me to listen to music I don't want to. It's ear rape.

Playlists in general though wouldn't be a horrible thing (if mene could afford it, I mean). Just as long as it doesn't have autoplay, I wouldn't mind.
