Congrats!
I finished college a year ago or so. It was very freeing and definitely challenging, but I went to school for engineering. I had to repeat a class for the first time ever... and second and third and fourth (not the same class xD).
I also met my husband, found out that I really am just one of the guys, gained 30 lbs, discovered my leadership skills, and dabbled in a little bit of everything.
I made my closest friends there. I really miss them dearly, but most of us have been scattered across the US. A few of them have concentrated around the town I grew up in, which is a little disappointing since most of them aren't really from there, and now I'm halfway across the country from them. Go figure
I REALLY miss the cost of living there. I went to a residential school, and commuting from my parents' house wasn't an option (as in, you would be charged for living on campus for your first two years, even if you decided not to, so you might as well be there). Once I got off-campus, I paid less than $200 a month in rent for the remainder of my time. I refused to pay more than that--and sometimes that meant we got some REALLY crappy housing--but that's really just not possible where I am now. Now my share is about $500 a month (but being jobless hubby just pays all of it--just under $1000 a month), and that's CHEAP for this area! *sobs*
So yeah. I miss the housing. :C
