{not sure which groups you are talking about Ameika, so I am going to assume you are talking about the HEROS =]}

At the new boy's statement the brunette looked toward him with narrowed eyes. Where did this guy get the guts to ask a question like that. A sneer formed on his face as the boy ran past him and stuck his tongue out. If this guy was a hero this was not going to go well for him. Luckily for him Amaki answered rather promptly, and honestly. Not that he would ever assume her to lie. Ross smirked a little at Amaki's respones, which was entirely true. No one on HERO should have been concerned with that sort of thing only making themselves better.

When the other male extended his hand and introduced himself as Berk, the boy stared at it for a moment. Slipping the knuckles off his one hand he shook the male's hand. Rossen," he stated simply. His honey colored eyes then looked to Amaki as she asked about Daeman. The brown haired boy thought if he had heard from her then heard the shrill sound of a whistle. Looking over his shoulder his eyes returned to the woman. "Guessing that's her, right?" he replied softy.

At the appearance of another new comer the male was shocked. Slipping his other knuckle back on he stood defensive as the creature growled. The person seemed human though animalistic in some sense. Ross's honey eyes watched the person. The person seemed wild with disheveled hair and the growling. His eyes glanced towards Amaki wondering what he should do. Of course he would not attack the person unless told to, but he assumed she would not require that.
--------
At the grin on Kaine's face when she approached she gave a small nod. Of course he had gotten himself into trouble. Then her eyes looked to the female with surprise as she lowered her blade. Phoebe had certainly not expected that. When her partner looked towards her with a pitiful look then made a ballsy comment to the woman she couldn't help, but let out a small chuckle. Turning they began walking away from the la'Sinne camp.

As her friend began to speak Pho could understand where he was coming from. Softly she nodded and grinned. "Well I certainly like to pick fights with everything I see, so there may be a problem," she stated sarcastically with a grin. This was entirely untrue. The female only picked fights with those who were in her way. Her blue green eyes looked over towards him with a small smile. "But honestly, I would rather not fight them. We've got our own problems to worry about, so I wouldn't be too concerned. Unless they literately stand in front of me, and tell me no, we won't have to fight your friend," she commented reassuringly. In this world, Kaine was her only friend. Her brother was a la'Sinne and probably dead by now, and her family was all gone.

A small grin formed on her face when the boy's hair fell right into his face as he was speaking. His statement was even funnier. "I feel the same," she replied with a small frown. The blue eyed girl would have liked to be working together with HERO, but they didn't like her methods and she didn't like there's. At his comment about less work she grinned. "Aren't you always looking for less work?" she questioned with a roll of her eyes. Kaine always did seem to be looking to get out of work, but it never really phased Bee Bee. Maybe it was because she had a ounce of patience in her bones.

Phoebe softly tapped her lips with her fingers as they continued to walk away from the la'Sinne quarters. At Kaine's question she wasn't sure. Chewing on the inside of her lower lip she wasn't sure how to respond. "I suppose a full frontal assault is in order," she replied sarcastically with a grin, "You take the one brigade of ten and I'll take the one of fifteen." Of course the woman was entirely joking. Their plan for today had been spoiled by the little HERO girl, which made her slightly angry. They would have to come up with a new plan to get in there to find some plans.

A sigh escaped from between the girl's lips before she had pursed them together; the fighting between these boys was going to irritate her, she knew that for a fact. There was a new sound though, a sudden rustling followed by a slightly inhuman voice. Amaki turned suddenly, her decorated blade drawn towards the owner of said voice. He looked human enough, cobalt blue eyes, auburn hair, built like a human, but he didn't act like one. Her blue and yellow eyes narrowed behind her goggles; the markings the decorated her body slowly receding, though the one hidden beneath her goggles around her left eye would remain.

A whistle broke through the air and Ross's voice soon followed wondering if that was Daeman. The blue haired girl would guess it would be from the secrecy of the action and how close that person was to the group. "That would be our girl," she said calmly, her voice low as she remained locked on the male, her guard up. Plan after plan was forming and running through her mind as the girl decided what they had to do. If they stayed there much longer they were sure to get caught, Daeman still had to be debriefed, new plans had to be brought up, and now there was this male before them that had to be dealt with.

The group was gathering, and the size that they were becoming was going to be something of interest to any guard that passed by. With them being so close to their headquarters, it would be suspicious why an armed group would be there. Many issues were possible at this point. "We have to get moving or we're going to be facing even bigger problems than we already have," she instructed, her eyes not leaving the male before her. She was trying to figure out what to do with him; he didn't seem to be much of a threat, though his next actions would help her determine what they would do with him.

(i am so sorry i cause i did it again but yesh i was talking about the HEROS)

Kazuma was still smiling even though it looked sinister on his face, he pulled out his daggers as he looked at them, not trusting them since they all had weapons and watching him. Then he heard a whistle, his eye twitched at the sound, unable to help him self as he got a curious look and stood up a little bit, only holding his weapons in a defensive way for a moment before he looked behind him, then up above before he looked back at the group.

"Safe." he said to them as he put his weapons back up, standing up completely, it was straining his muscles that were used to crouching low, so you could see him tremble with the effort to appear more human then animal, though it was a rather strange look. His cobalt blue eyes looking over them more before he turned the sinister smile into a more softer smile, as he put his now weapon free hands up to show he meant no harm as he slowly moved forward, away from where the patrols could spot him.

It was hard to know what was going through the man's mind for the actions that he was doing but it was almost comforting to see a smile in this world considering not many would durring this time. He gave a bird whistle, smiling even more when one came down from the roof tops and landed on his shoulder, he reach a gentle hand up and took it into them, showing them he was harmless even though he was listening to whatthe animal was saying to him.

[IMGleft]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v305/kyh66/guy-rp/guy55-2.jpg[/IMGleft]Keir Hemlock slept comfortably under a large oak tree that inhabited one of the small, local parks of the city. With arms crossed lazily behind him as a makeshift pillow and a faint smile tugging at his lips, his whole character seemed relaxed and carefree. The expansive deep green foliage protected him from the bright sun and masked him in dark shadows.

"S-s-sir! I mean, Captain... sir!" stammered a uniformed man who Keir assumed was his subordinate, one of the many al'Sinne grunts, as he raced up to his commanding officer. Keir cracked open an eye to stare at the man, disinterestedly. The man was soaked in sweat, proof that he had been searching for Keir's hiding spot for hours. Keir was impressed that he was actually able to find him.

"Hmm?" Keir asked nonchalantly, closing his opened eye again.

"Well, sir! ...Captain! There has been a situation!" the grunt shouted, hastily.

"Situation?" Keir inquired. His calm attitude was the exact opposite to his subordinate's worried one.

"A patrol has not reported in, Captain, sir!"

"Oh? That doesn't seem like much of a situation. Most likely they're somewhere nose deep in a pint or flirting with a courtesan or two."

"But, sir!" The grunt protested.

"Enough. If you're so worried then find them yourself. Leave me to my nap."

"Sir... I'll get in trouble..." The grunt's tone sounded desperate enough to make even Keir feel embarrassed. He sighed deeply.

"Yes, yes, fine," Keir relented, shaking his head and smiling. "I'll help. Go. I'll catch up." The grunt enthusiastically saluted.

"Yes, sir... Captain, sir!"

"By the way, use either 'captain' or 'sir' to address me. It's odd to call me both." Keir chided. The grunt peered at his commanding officer, seemingly baffled. "Er, okay. Nevermind. Just go." The grunt, with renewed happiness, saluted again and then sped off.

Keir peered out at the world beyond the shade of the tree. It looked dreadfully hot. "Ugh, I really don't feel like moving today," Keir muttered as grabbed onto the tree for support and lifted himself to his feet. As he patted the dirt and grass stains from his trousers he heard the leaves rustle as something fell from the tree. Keir did not have time to dodge before he felt something soft bounce off his head and then hit the ground. He blinked and stared at the motionless bird that laid at his feet.

"Great. A dead bird. I hope that doesn't mean seven years bad luck, or something," Keir said to himself, his tone half-disgusted, half-amused. He was just about to turn and leave, but then, after a moment's thought, he crouched down to stare the bird. It was a brown and tan sparrow, a bird common in the area. The bird was in pristine condition, looking much as it would have in life. There was no visible injuries on the bird and no signs of decay. It had probably just died. Perhaps he was frightened by a predator, Keir mused. These types do tend to have weak hearts. After a few moments of silence, Keir shook his black glove from his hand. Tenderly, he placed a finger on the bird, near its heart.

"You better be more careful now," Keir told the bird and smiled.

"Peep, peep,"
replied the bird, then flew off. Keir watched it as it left and felt an odd sense of nostalgia as it disappeared behind a group of buildings.

Swiftly, he replaced the glove onto his hand and proceeded to go after the grunt who, for all he knew, would be crying alone in an alleyway like a lost kitten.

Amaki watched as the male stood up, never lowering her blade as she watched him. She looked at the rest in the group before saying, "We have to get to the safe house," she said calmly as she held her ground. The act the boy performed with the bird did not impress her at all, it made her wary more than anything. She had not heard of anything like this, especially among al'Sinne so she knew nothing of this boy and what he was capable of.

"Ross, you take lead. Take Berk with you. Daeman and I will cover the rear." Without another thought, the blue haired woman grabbed the dark haired male and pushed him towards the younger comrade. She was urging them toward the underground tunnels; the quickest route to their safe house. Sure the al'Sinne checked the tunnels all the time for them, but so far the group had no luck in locating them.

Since the tunnels branched all over the city, it was a very convenient way for them to travel as well. Their safe house was nothing more than a small shop, that the group actually operated when they were not out on covert operations like this. They ran a little flower shop oddly enough, and it seemed to be enough to keep the al'Sinne off their backs. That was the use of the first floor at least. The rest of the building acted as their living quarters, the acts that they were to act out, Amaki had made sure to disguise amongst their work.

Granted a flower shop seemed odd and out of place in times like these, but the people of the city seemed to enjoy it and it brightened their day. Something that the self-proclaimed leader hoped she could bring them permanently, emotion that is. People never caught onto the randomly closed times; there was a sign that would go up stating that they were out getting more supplies, flowers, or what have you. People never complained though.

Amaki looked towards the area Daeman was and nodded towards the tunnel, indicating to the girl it was time to leave. Looking back towards their leave, she made sure that the boys were on their way before looking at the odd male before her. "You never saw us, got that?" Was all she said before sheathing her sword, and with Daeman at her side, followed the path the boys had already taken to the tunnel.

Shoot. Daeman thought as a weird looking boy stood up. She looked around trying to see if any of the guards had seen this boy stand. She sighed and shook her head before looking back at the self-proclaimed leader of the HEROs. She directed her head to the tunnels ahead. She of course was the closest one to the tunnels. She looked around and signaled that she would cover them until they got to the tunnel. She watched again to see if any of the guards were coming around.

Little did the boy know that the guards had been looking for her the whole time since they had found one of theirs dead on the ground. If one had just turned around, he would see the boy. She looked to see if any had seen and there were a few, but they were at a pretty good distance. It seemed that they didnt know if the boy was part of them or not. then the boy disappeared into a place where no one could see him. That still didnt stop the guards.

Dae waited for the others to get to the tunnel before going inside herself. It was a perfect plan that Amaki had made. They could have gone in and done some damage without anyone noticing until they were already gone, but it seemed that the appearance of this boy, or at least the appearance of him to her, had made it so that they could have easily blown their cover.

Daeman ran to the tunnel quickly and ended up next to Amaki, covering the rear of the group.

Kazuma watched as the group disappeared letting the bird in his hand fly off before he turnned around and saw that a bunch of people where starting to head his way, he growled for a moment before he heard some very odd calls from above. With a thoughtful smile on his face, he pulled out his daggers and used them to help him climb up on the side of the building so that he could reach the roof top.

Once up there he saw the a flow of sparrows avoiding one sparrow in pretticular, this was very odd to him in deed, since the lone sparrow didn't feel normal, it was more like it was on auto-pilot, like a mechanical bird. He whistled to the group, listening to what they had to say before he went over to the sparrow, picking it up and smelling. There was something wrong and missing from it, it didn't smell right, he growled a little bit before snapping it's neck and tossing it off the building.

He felt bad that he had to kill the thing but it was wrong, it wasn't natrual and soit had to be gotten rid of before more became like it. He stayed very low on the roff of the building as he crept closer to the edge, looking down as he watched everything. He was going to find out who had done it, or what happened to the bird so that it would never happen again once he put a stop to it, after all animals were his family and no one messed with his family.

There had been a commotion earlier about a group of guard not having returned in the allotted time. A guard had come in to the conference room and had asked him for instructions, as it seemed it was guards from under his command. The brown haired male had simply told him dispatch a couple of people to go look into the incident. It was irritating how they could really need to ask him for something so simple. He still had plenty to do before he could check into it himself. If it even needed to be checked out. Maybe it was nothing, but it was also likely that some of the resistance had tried to infiltrate their grounds. Possibly to try and listen in the meeting that had went on that day.

It had been rather dull to him actually. All they talked about was actually about reporting any misdemeanors and incidents that had happened over the past weeks. Really, they were just reporting. Looking up as his turn came for the report, Jack glanced around the table. He was leaning back against his chair looking relaxed. "I have nothing much to report. A few of the raids we did on some shops and homes were successful. We turned up to find a few members of the rebellion. No sign of their headquarters yet nor their plans. Minor casualties on our side." he reported calmly before he nodded in indication that he was done.

In reality, they had only found very little plans. The only reason they had managed to capture some members of the rebellion had been because of a tip. He'd had some people keep tabs on these people and once he got enough evidence they had swooped in and taken them by surprise. A rather successful raid all together. He himself had been there. To confirm if they were the right people. Sadly they refused to give up much information and had had to be disposed of. No need to have them run to their leader and warn anyone.

After everyone else finished everything, it was announced that they would all get back together to get on with the actual business. That was a relief. Soon as they were allowed to go, he stood up and headed out. Having not shown it inside, he was actually livid about guards under his watch going missing. If they had simply left to go and take a break without having asked, there was going to be some consequences. If they had been killed or injured by their enemies, good riddance. Either way it seemed they would have to be even more strict with security. Before anything though, they had to find the missing group.

Keir hopped down the few steps that led into a wide street. Despite the unusually hot temperature, the street was lined at either side with enthusiastic street vendors and shopkeepers trying to coax potential buyers to look at their wares.

“Exotic plates and silverware!” exclaimed one vendor. “You can’t get a better price in all of Aelcliff.” Keir smiled apologetically as he squeezed past the booth without a single glance at the merchandise. He really had no need for dinnerware when he ate mostly at the al’Sinne’s dinning hall. Keir had just begun to wonder how in the world he was supposed to find his subordinate in this crowd when he spotted a gray uniform in the sea of colors that were the city-folk’s expressive clothing. The gray uniform was, of course, the same as the one assigned to all the grunts of the al’Sinne and thankfully, after Keir squinted at the man for a few moments, that very grunt was the one he had been looking for.

“What are you doing?” Keir asked as he approached him. The grunt jumped a few inches in the air and swung around. He stared at Keir wide-eyed as if Keir was guilty of trying to sneak up on him, which he obviously was not. The grunt had been going to and from alleyways, sticking his head in and looking around. The whole happening looked incredibly comical, but Keir held in his laughter in case it would make the grunt cry.

“Sir, I was just—” The grunt began, but swallowed his words as he stared at Keir with eyes as wide as saucers.

“What?” asked Keir, arching an eyebrow.

“Captain! Your clothing!”

“Oh? You don’t like it? I just bought it at this wonderful little boutique down the road. The old lady there was really nice.”

The grunt gaped. “But you’re out of uniform!”

“Yeah, I guess I am. It’s a little too hot to be in uniform, don’t you think? Why don’t you put something else on too? You look like you’re roasting in there.” In fact, the grunt was drenched in sweat, seemingly from head to toe. He looked eager to do what Keir had suggested, but shook his head instead.

“I can’t, sir. I’ll get in trouble.” He said, almost enthusiastically. With who? I’m the one who’s your boss. Keir wanted to say.

“Anyway,” Keir said through a sigh. “What poor souls are we looking for today?”

“Gregor Kingly, Thom Drake and Harold Meyer.” The grunt listed, and for some reason had to count them on his fingers while he was doing so. Keir knew only partially of one of the soldiers.

“Wait, Gregor Kingly? Isn’t he a soldier of the 14th Battalion?”

“Yes, sir! I believe so!”

“You do know that 9th Company, the company we’re in, is part of the 3rd Battalion, right?” Keir asked, exasperated.

"Yes sir?" The grunt said, still not getting the point.

"The lost soldiers are from the 14th Battalion. That means that it is the 14th Battalion's responsibility to find the soldiers. Companies in the 3rd Battalion do not have the jurisdiction to interfere in these types of matters." The grunt stared at Keir dumbfounded.

Keir sighed and attempted to reword his explanation into simpler terms. "...a.k.a we have nothing to do with this." The grunt paled.

"But, sir! A commanding officer gave the order. I was there!"
he spluttered.

"Were you with anyone at the time?" Keir asked, coolly.

"Just a couple of my friends from... oh... er, from the 14th Battalion..."

"Aha. And there it is."
Keir said and chuckled.

"Am I in trouble, sir?" the grunt asked in a small voice.

"Trouble?" Keir then remembered that it was common for commanding officers to flog subordinates that did not complete orders or completed them incorrectly. Keir found this distasteful though and, on top of that, much of a waste of his time. A simple verbal chastisement always seemed to suffice for his troops. "No, it's fine. If anyone asks I'll take the blame." Just kidding. He didn't need to take the fall for this. He was on thin ice as it was. He had a couple of friends in the 14th Battalion. Worse comes to worse he'd leave it to them. That's what friends were for, right?

After almost a complete hour of convincing the grunt he was not in any way, shape or form in trouble, Keir waved him off back to his post at the base. Well, that was utterly tiring and completely uneventful. He sighed as he strolled down the still bustling market street. He did wonder about the three missing soldiers. It was not odd that some soldiers were trouble-makers and skipped on their duties. Hell, if he wasn't in a commanding rank he would be considered one of those. It was weird, though, that they would be missing for so long. Keir wondered if anything had happened to them. If they were dead that was fine, but if they had been captured that was a whole different story.

The dead did not speak; the living could.

Her blond hair was burying half of her pretty face. Wild lime green eyes shot back and forth as she emerged from the large castle. The doors folding back against the wall, Alanna la'Sinne thrust her chest into the air as she had that arrogant stride about her. She might have only been thirteen, but she was more mature than that. After all, she tended to keep the body of a young adult as she was displeased with her “mosquito bites.” Most of the other girls at her real age of thirteen were far better developed than her, and yet the princess of the la’Sinne family was not gifted with the bouncy breasts she had hoped for.

Her fierce smile was still decorating her face even as thoughts of a flat chest caused her brows to wrinkle. As he boots clicked across the fine marble steps, she descended down into the garden. The brilliantly painted flowers were trimmed to perfection; not even a thorn was out of place.

Eyes looking toward the clouds, she watched as a few birds dared to fly over her. Eyes narrowing to tiny slits, she scoffed under her breath some curse words of disgust. To her, it was rude to cross her path and to fly above her path was grounds for death.

Arms swinging with more speed now, Alanna moved into a sprint. However, this sprint wasn’t a true sprint. Yes, her heart was racing as the girl took leaps and bounds, but the world around her was frozen. When her toes hung over the edge of the wall, she felt the rush of her world engulf her. Hair blasting into the wind she’d created, the princess looked down at her city. Towering above everyone, Alanna’s calculating eyes scanned for her victim – Keir.

When she spied him, the girl whistled her absurdly annoying chirp. She knew it reached his ears because she saw him squirm some in pain.

Lifting up her foot, Alanna heard voices behind her. Shooting her head backwards, she noticed as some of her “protectors” rushed up toward her.

“Alanna, no!”

But their request came too late. Alanna had already taken her step over the edge.

Wind twisting her hair into a knotted mess, Alanna closed her eyes. Chanting to herself, she could feel the clock slow down time. With each second slowing into minutes, the fall became less exciting. Rather than becoming a pancake on the ground, Alanna was able to land gracefully on the earth that was thirty feet below her original starting point.

With a quick snap of her fingers, she resumed time.

“ALANNA!” The guards said before turning their heads over the edge.

“Oh shut up. I’m hunky dory ya losers.”

Flipping the guards off, Alanna strolled over to her mark – Keir.

“Hey, I’m going to kick you in the shin, okay?” Her devious eyes sparkled at the thought of inflicting pain on her lazy “friend.”

"Well that's good. I would rather not fight Berk. Granted, I think I could take him and all... but I feel that he has something... well, I think his powers haven't been unleashed to their hellish potential yet."

His eyes slid across the skyline. "I wish he would join us." A little frown played onto his face. "But he doesn't like our means of... well, handling this."

A smile soon appeared on his face. "Ah, you know me too well. I love taking the easy way out. Why do the work when some unlucky grunt can do it for you?" He chuckled before stepped back in-sync with his partner.

"You know," his lips parted back to reveal a half smile, "I've had this crazy idea running about my head. But..." he cut himself short. "You know what, just forget it. I'll play on it again in the near future."

Eyes scanning over her body, Kaina looked away as a light red hue came to his cheeks. "I supposed," he sighed, "the HEROs win this one. Let us fall back for now." His brows closed together. Whistling, he made large gestures with his hands which indicated retreat. "There is no point getting blood on our hands. Why don't we let them infiltrate the city? It'll save us some labor."

The boy looked back towards Amaki as she gave her instructions. Softly he nodded accepting what she had said. Ross was slightly unhappy about having to team up with Berk, but then again Amaki knew best. The honey eyed boy kept his arms in a defensive position as he looked towards the other boy. He hoped the boy was as strong as he was but he doubted it. Ross kept his eyes flickering back and forth making sure not to miss a thing. The boy knew that he needed to stay prepared
---
Phoebe grinned softly as he stated how he did not want to fight his friend. It made sense and she did not blame him. Softly the female tapped her lips as she tried to remember what element he was. Not that she kept tabs on them. As he finished his first statement she shrugged a little. She had no idea what kind of potential he would have.

At his next statement she grinned a little. "A lot of people don't like the way we're handling this. It would be easier if we could all work together, but I highly doubt Amaki would even try," she replied with a sniffle. It wasn't that she had ever had a real conversation with the woman, but if she was anything like Pho it was doubted that they would get along. Softly she grinned at him as he said that she knew him too well. "Sometimes I like getting my hands dirty," she replied. Then again she did enjoy a nice relaxing day.

When he spoke again she looked over at him. Then she raised an eyebrow as he cut himself off. "It's okay, I'm sure I'll figure something much better out," she teased with a wink. Of course she did not mean it. She was always open to hearing her friend's suggestions. Sometimes his ideas were much better than her own.

Pho looked over at Kaine and was surprised to see him look away quickly. Confused she tilted her head at him. Then at his statement she grinned softly. "I suppose since that little girl came out of no where," she answered chuckling softly. At his next statement she looked to the skyline in wonder. "We could... or we could follow behind them and let them do the work while we snoop for information," she said deviously with a vicious grin.

Sione walked through the crowded streets with her head bowed, a hood pulled over her brilliant white hair. It was blistering hot in the city- but she felt right at home in the hot temperature. She would have preffered to wear long sleeves (more places to hide things in, you see), but decided to dress a little less conspicuously. Modest khaki shorts that followed the slim curve of her leg, dark sunglasses, a white tanktop, and a deep navy hooded vest gave her the appearance of any normal teenaged girl- but she was anything but.

She slid one hand into the deep blue and gold messenger bag that hung at her side, peeking at the instrument within. She had to find a weakness within the city, a place where she could infiltrate quietly, and begin snooping around for information. Her white vans slapped against the white ground as she casually let the instrument fall to the bottom of the bag, tucking her hands into the pockets of her vest. Just a few more meters...

She vaguely wondered where exactly Kane and Phoebe were, and what they were doing. She often found herself in this state, wondering at her teammates rather then really being around them. It made her feel odd at times; even within her own group, she was an outsider. She shook those thoughts from her head; there was no time for her to worry about it now. She needed to focus on her mission.

"Hey, you!"

Sione froze midstep, glancing over her shoulder as she forced herself to relax. Two soldiers approached her, stern looks on their faces. "Where do you think you're going," the first asked, glaring at her. She turned to face them, plastering an innocent expression on her face as she examined the two.

"I was just looking over here," she said, pointing vaguely over her shoulder. "I thought I saw a hurt animal."

"This area is off limits," the man said menacingly. Sione held her ground, refusing to be cowed. His attempts at being intimidating were almost kind of funny.

"I'm sorry," she said, taking a step away as they leaned towards her. She suddenly grew uneasy; would they really start a fight with a kid? Well, you aren't a normal kid, her brain pointed out. She held her hands up in a placating way, backing away from them some more. "Look, I don't want any trouble," she said hastily, her eyes large behind her sunglasses.

[[yikes. hope this is okay for my first post  ]]

Running as quickly through the street she tried to shake off the guards that were chasing her. Every few minutes she would send a bolt of lightening behind her to strike down one of her pursuers. Skidding around a corner she pumped her arms and legs as hard as she could taking on a burst of speed. Weaving through merchant stands she was finally starting to loosing the guards.

Thinking hard about where to go it hit her. She needed to go to a safe part of town. There was a forest she could use. Now all she needed to do was really shake the guardians and take the tunnels. Looking behind her for a split second she saw that only a few of them remained and that they were far behind. Grinning she took a running leap at the side of a building. Putting a foot out she pushed off the wall she had just jumped at to sail across the top of a merchant stand. Coming down on the other side of it she landed on the balls of her feet it a crouch. Pushing off with her hands she made her way through a crowd of people.

Grinning again she knew she had lost her pursuers. Winded she slowed her pace to a walk so she wouldn't look suspicious. Going over to a hidden entrance to the tunnels she slipped through quickly. Since it was dark she lit up her body with electric sparks so she could see just a bit better. Feeling a bit more energized she started to jog down one of the tunnels that would lead her to the one she needed to get to a safe place.

The group was quickly moving through the tunnels at this point, though they still had a ways to go. "What happened?" Was all that Amaki asked the younger girl as they walked. Her tone was quiet, not only because that was just how the girl was, but also, she wasn't sure who all was in the tunnel and if it was bugged or not. In fact, her voice was barely audible over the sounds of the running water that they were walking along side.

The tunnels were large, seeing as they did have to handle the waste from the city and whatnot, though they did offer a ledge on either side for maintenance workers and whatnot. It was almost sewer-like with little critters the leader would rather not think about. Sure Amaki was tough, or so she appeared, but she wouldn't let the others see any other side to her, unless she were in the flower shop, then she had to take on a different persona.

The blue haired girl then tilted her head to the side slightly so she could better see Daeman in the darkness. Reaching her left hand to the back side of her hip, she unsnapped the little pouch that was there and pulled out two set of eye patches. Looking at them for just a moment, she put the one with red designs back in before slipping the blue designed on down her forearm. This was her 'disguise' eye patch, at least everyone in town was used to seeing this one. Other than the difference in design color, the blue one was also white where the one with red designs was black.

Closing her left eye, the girl then pulled the goggles from her face and slide them into the bag. Then drawing her right hand over the marks from the eye wear, she wiped away the sweat that had been forming while in the sun. Once satisfied with getting at least most of it away from her left eye, she slid the white eye patch on. None in the group had ever seen her left eye, she was pretty sure that none had ever seen her use her powers either; Amaki planned on keeping it that way.

Daeman sighed as she looked at her good friend. "I got caught up a bit. When i was hiding out on my way towards you the patrols started coming out and one of them headed directly for me." Her voice sounded slightly apologetic as she explained what happened. "I killed one of the patrols and caught the other one in order to give me information. Unfortunately it wasnt a patrol that i caught but one of those worthless lazy rebellion people. I cant remember what he said his name was but i know it started with a k." She checked behind her and the other girl to the opening of the tunnel in order to make sure that none of guards had followed them.

Daeman found herself unable to stop thinking about the red haired man that she had caught. He was kind of handsome of course but she still shouldnt be thinking about him. He didnt even deserve to be thought of from anyone because he was part of the lazy rebellion. The rebellion was always thought of as lazy to them. So why couldnt she stop thinking about him.

Thats when she saw light coming from one of the other entrances to the tunnels. "Amaki." She whispered and pointed to the tunnel with light coming out of it. "Ill tell you the rest later, right now i think we have company." She slowly made her blades come out of her arms, ready for anything that was to come out of that tunnel. Quickly, she stood to the side of the entrance to the lit up tunnel.

Growing really tired she was about to stop when she saw the end of the tunnel. "Yes!" she murmured to herself and continued forward. Calling off her electric sparks the tunnel went dark again. She wanted to sneak out in case there were patrols out there. When she was close to the entrance she stopped and crouched down low. If anyone was to attack they would aim higher not lower. She had figured that out a long time ago. Puffing out a breath of air she crept forward more until she was at the entrance. Poking her head out she looked to her left then to here right.

Seeing someone she cursed under her breath and dove out of the tunnel. Going into a somersault she got to her feet and called to a lightning bolt. Holding it in her hand she pointed it to to person she saw. "How many are there of you?" She called out. He mind raced with thought of who it could be. Listening carefully she tried to pinpoint how many people were in the tunnel and where there locations were. In her other hand she grabbed a dagger, ready for anything. She really hoped there was only a few people and that she could take them. If need be she would just call to a bunch of lightning bolts and send them flying.

Amaki rested her hand on Daeman's shoulder as she slowly turned to look towards the elemental figure at the end of the tunnel. Slowly walking forward quietly ordered the group to stop. "There are four of us in this party," she said loud enough for the girl to hear, but not loud enough to draw attention to them or to be deemed as a threat. "We mean no harm, we are merely search for safe passage back into the city." At this point she figured it would be best to lay low. The leader did not know if the person at the end was a concern or not.

The blue haired girl then walked by the males before placing herself at the front of the group. She wasn't about to let anyone take her group out, not if she had anything to say about it. She watched the figure, her palms open and towards the girl to let her know that she did not mean them any harm, not reaching for her weapons or eye patch once. That wasn't to say that if she were to do something that Amaki couldn't attack, for the girl was more than used to having to pull a quick maneuver.

Listening to the girls words she didn't relax. Only four she could take four as long as one of them didn't control water. If she was wet for to long she would start to short circuit so to speak and electric sparks would fly off her at random. Her mind was racing when it finally registered something. "Wait four of you? Are you the other HERO's by any chance?" She waited for them to answer prepared for anything. Shifting on her feet she made sure she had enough room to run if need be.

Maybe she had found the people she was looking for or maybe it was a trap. Hopefully her instincts were right when they said these were the people. Right now she was betting her life on it. Lowering her lightning bolt and putting her dagger away she wanted to show them she didn't mean any harm. In the dark she looked around to count darker blobs. All she saw were four so she was becoming less guarded. But from past experience she was still ready fro anything. You really couldn't tell anything for certain. Everything was random and out of everyone she would know best.

Kazuma had been moving along the tops of the buildings, watching everything that was going on far below him on the streets, after a while he lost interest in everything and forgotten why he was there in the first place, so he slipped down to the ground below, stealing a few things and ducking into a public bathroom.
He combed his auburn making it look far more tamed, even pulling onsome shoes, pants and a tee-shirt, that he covered with a jacket before he made his way out of the place. He blended in with the people around him better since he now wasn't sticking out like a sore thumb because of his wild appearance. He looked around with his cobalt blue eyes, seeing a few things that normally would not be noticed by others, he came to a stop as he looked at a man and a girl, Alanna was her name, he had heard the people above call it out.
He looked at the man that was near her whom she had been talking too, he smelled funny almost like the bird that was brought to life, there was something odd about this man, something that was making him bare his teeth at him, even though he always had a smile on, he couldn't help but clench his jaws together in the scary smile that showed the unnatrually long fangs of his.

Daeman felt Amaki's touch and glared at her as she announced to the person that there were four of them in their group. Such a great thing to say. The lightning bolt that was pointed at her seemed negated by her blades, which she refused to get rid of. She didnt really feel like getting rid of them but then Amaki showed her hands. This was something she never really saw Amaki do before, especially when the girl had come up on them by surprise. The light was a dead give away that she had been in the tunnel.

Quickly, she sheathed her blades back into her forearms and looked at the girl that seemed to be approaching. When the girl asked if they were the HEROs, Dae paused. "Before we say anything more... Who are you?" She asked abruptly. She wasnt about to give away that they were the HEROs if the girl was a guardian of la'Sinne. "We wont harm you if you come into the light. I promise." A promise coming from Daeman was something new. She never promised not to harm anything, but she figured Amaki might actually like it better than her tough girl act.

Amaki mentally sighed, Daeman's moves could be devastating for the group. Rather than showing that, the woman chuckled slightly before saying, "Please pay her no mind, the group has been rather jumpy with commotion from the al'Sinne. You can't blame us though can ya? Kind of hard to live day by day when people run away in fear from any notion of them; makes it hard for business." She prayed that Daeman would keep a cool head for once and let her take care of this. They did not know this girl so it would be best to completely avoid claiming to be or not be who they really were.

"So for us being HEROs? That would be rather wishful thinking wouldn't it?" She then shook her head to play along with her little act. "The HEROs are just a story," she then said, her voice hinting at a sort of depression. "It would be nice if they were real huh? People fighting for the rest of us? Who cares if they're bad though, anyone who is willing to help is a friend wouldn't you say?" Her tone was soft, almost to the point where an al'Sinne would just brush her to the side as another begger-type, seeing as that was all they went on about.

A spark of curiosity hit her eye as she stepped forward enough for a ray of light to hit her eye patch and reflecting off her now exposed light. "Why, were you looking for them?" The same devious curiosity was ringing in her voice as her eyes traced the figure before them. This girl's power did not frighten her, there weren't many that did really, save for ice, with her own weakness that would be deadly; then again fire could be as well.

Her eyes roamed constantly taking in everything that she could see, not that it was much. When another women spoke up her head moved to look at her. Before we say anything more.. She thought hard about her words, breaking down every one of them. Then the other women spoke up and she listened just as carefully. She also broke down her words to try and find any puzzle hidden in them. She was good at that figuring out what they were really saying even though the hadn't said anything.

Clearing her throat she let out a soft laugh and stepped forward. "You see I would completely believe you when you say that the HERO's are just a story. But I think you know better than I that they are real. My name it Dashna and I'm the fifth HERO." She was completely sure that the four of the were the other HERO's. By how they acted and their words she just knew. Taking another step forward she looked to each one of them to see what there reactions would be.

With slightly pursed lips, Amaki lifted her chin slightly so that she was looking down at the girl. "You make a bold claim in such treacherous times," she said, her tone one of warning to the girl than anything else. "If you are as you say then you would have sort of proof, no?" She was challenging the girl more-or-less at this point. If this girl really was who they claimed then that would be great, they would have their fifth, but if not, then there was the chance that they could be walking right into a trap. "I mean, there has to be a way for the group to distinguish themselves from just anyone else wouldn't there?"

This wasn't good though; they were sitting in the tunnels for too long. Amaki didn't know if al'Sinne or even Rebelliance would be coming through the tunnels or not. They should have been back at base right now, but she couldn't seem flighty because then that would draw attention and a group such as themselves, well, they didn't need to draw anymore attention than they already had.

Letting out a heavy sigh Dashna turned around so her back was facing them. Lifting up her shirt so her back was showing she showed them her mark and also that she trusted them slightly. To turn her back on them was showing them that she trusted them. Dashna hoped they didn't attack her. Even without much light you could see her mark. It seemed to glow off her skin, a silvery white. She had never seen something like her mark. The lightning bolts that ran from her right shoulder, across her back and to her left hip looked alive. Making sure they got a nice long look she dropped her shirt and turned around. In her hand she still clutched her lightning bolt but had made it smaller. "Happy now?" She asked softly.

She was getting antsy sitting in one place for so long. Anyone could stumble upon them at anytime and that made her nervous. It probably made them all nervous. "Can we uh walk and talk? I'm getting antsy sitting here in the open and you probably are also." Looking from each person she waited.
