Basically, whenever a page loads, if you find a candy, you will see a box that says "You've found some candy corn" and a "Click Here" link to receive the candy. Whenever you receive the candy, you will have a candy count underneath your gold count. Candy looks like this, if you haven't already noticed it:

Candy is used to collect the event items. Event items will be released one item per day. You may collect as many as you want of each item, so long as you have the candy to exchange for that particular item.

Aha, so they will appear in a box....and it's hard to see, I probably missed some already then. :(

No. The items that are in the store now are the only ones that are going to be added.

Neyor: We've prevented the refreshers by having a "Click to Claim" link in place. We want to make it fair.

Peanut: It will vary depending on the item. Currently, you need 6 for today's item.

They'll be going into regular stores after the event at double the price. Currently, they're up for half-price as a promotion for the event, but no, they're not limited.
