Kakashi Hatake crouched on a high tree limb, his brown eye focused on the door beneath him. The Hokage had received confirmation that Orochimaru’s hideout had indeed been abandoned; however, caution was always wise when dealing with the snake sannin. After several moments of examining the entrance, Kakashi stood; his hands pressing down on his knees before he took to stretching his limbs out.
Crouching for long periods of time is not good for the knees…
After working out the kinks in his body, Kakashi leapt to the ground with a sigh. It was about time he quit playing around and finished this mission. It was simple really. All the talented nin had to do was scope out the hideout and return to the village with anything he deemed of importance.
A small dog named, Pakkun, suddenly appeared from the entrance with an annoyed growl. “Well they sure were right.” He grumbled, his small dark eyes watching as Kakashi walked towards him with a grin hidden behind his mask. “The dump is empty and trashed. Good luck with finding anything useful there.”
“Ah, cheer up old friend. I’m sure I can find something.” Kakashi said, moving around the nin dog and entering the darkness before him. Pakkun simply ‘hurumped’ in response and turned to follow him into the depths of Orochimaru’s den.
It was tedious work making their way through the building; always having to stop and disable a trap of some sort before they could continue. Several minutes passed before Kakashi had to sigh in defeat.Pakkun was right… there is nothing to find here… He was just about to turn and tell the nin dog so, when he suddenly spotted something odd. The wall had creases like a door.
One brown eye rolled up as a tired sigh escaped his lips. He had almost missed it. Pakkun watched him curiously as Kakashi ran his hands over the door; finally catching the hidden switch. The hidden door swung open with a gasp of dust that blew into the unfortunate nin’s face. He coughed and sputtered for a moment before he dared to peer through the dirty haze. What he found made him raise a single white eyebrow.
“Well what is it then?” The question was growled, but Kakashi ignored it as he stepped into the light haze. The room appeared to be some sort of laboratory that had been abandoned in a rush. Kakashi walked around the small room, flicking through notes and odd instruments. Every once-in-awhile he would fold up some notes and stuff them into one of his pouches.
When he had nearly made a lap around the room, he came across a large tank. It was covered in a thin layer of dust, and roughly the size of Kakashi. He reached a cautious hand up to wipe away a strip of the dirt; only to gasp in surprise. “Pakkun, I found something…” Kakashi suddenly started looking around the tank until he spotted the release lever. He had only a moment of doubt before his hand pressed the lever down.
The level clicked once, before the tank quickly began to drain. Pakkun gave a sudden bark at its loudness before shouting at Kakashi for being reckless. The nin simply shrugged and watched as the tank emptied with large sucking noises. Soon, the man within would be free…

[IMGright]http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x73/alphadegree/closeupniceshot.jpg[/IMGright]He was a completely man made creation. Orochimaru had made him completely from scratch. But he had been abandoned for a while now, along with the lab. He had been a failed attempt to create a being that would follow blindly and just simply do what told to. He had somehow evolved a mind of his own in the process, and no matter how many times Orochimaru tried to take that away, it was still there. He had even gone as far as to take away his emotions, and putting them into a crystal that was around his neck. And it was, pretty much the only thing he was wearing right now. If you were in a tank, you usually didn't wear anything after all. It was just bothersome. But that wasn't the important part. He had been a failed experiment, so therefor, he had been to his fate as the lab was abandoned. Not that he really was conscious or anything. He wouldn't be till some one emptied the darn tank. And as far as anyone knew, he might be long lost before that happened. Even if the fluid in the tank could maintain a body for a long time, it was still limited. Specially if the temperature would go up or down, or if some function stopped working. It was pretty much his entire life support right now. And if he was there for too long, he might have trouble to make it once the tank was emptied.
And that was happening sooner then expected, as the tube started to empty. And with that, the systems that kept him alive was turned off. And a few needles pulling out of his back and neck, since, otherwise they would simply rip him once there was no liquid left. Then he would just fall. Simple as that. And that was exactly what happened once the tank was empty. He just fell limp and lifeless to the bottom of the tank. He hadn't ever taken a breath on his own yet. And there was still the liquid in his lungs. So once the tank opened for anyone to just take. All there seemed to be was a lifeless, failed experiment on the ground. But there was still some fresh blood from the small holes after all the needles, so that meant that he at least had been alive, up till now, and he could probably be saved to, if one would want that. He didn't exactly look like a normal human. Something that might not have been noticed till now, as the man had only looked trough a window of wiped away dust. But he had wings. Large red wings on his back. What on earth Orochimaru might have had planned with such a strange creature was for anyone to guess. But as something that had come this far was left behind, it obviously was something wrong. And it wasn't that he wasn't breathing. The breathing would have to be put into motion the old fashioned way. Mouth to mouth. Otherwise, he would probably die.
His body had no idea how to act to real air as he hadn't been outside the tank till now. so it needed some help on the way. And probably to get out of here too and get out in the sun. And get cleaned off from the good he had been in inside the tank. Would be allot to do. Probably more tempting to just leave it there to suffer the fate that it was meant to. Was all up to the one that found him.
And if Kakashi looked around a bit, he could probably found some information or some kind of record about the process of this strange creation. If it had been a success, of course Orochimaru would have wanted to keep some kind of record so he could create more. And he could probably find a name of some kind for him too. Or choose to give him a name himself.
((Hahaha. Not that good of a first post. But, not sure how to reply when you're in a tank and isn't even awake XD))

Kakashi tried to watch as the tank emptied, but it was still to murky for his eye to make out anything. Luckily, as soon as the tank gave its last gurgle, the glass gave a shriek and began to descend into the ground. The silver-haired nin and his dog watched with curiosity as a form was suddenly coming into view. The first thing Kakashi noticed was the damp rust-red feathers. There was so many of them that it took a second to realize what lay beneath the mass of red.
The man lay crumpled at the bottom of the tank, his back clearly visible to Kakashi as he noticed the small wounds near his neck. Hatake cautiously kneeled; bringing him inches away from the unconscious man. His keen eye saw no movement in the man’s chest; confirming his suspicions that the tank had been the sole instrument in keeping the stranger alive. Kakashi watched the man thoughtfully; one hand reaching up to play with his chin.
Should I..?
There really was no other option that Kakashi was willing to consider. A sigh escaped his lips as he realized that his old friend, Obito, sure did rub off on him. So, without much consideration for the consequences, Kakashi reached his hands out to the man and carefully pushed him over to lie on his back. It was only then that he realized the man was naked. The blush that spread across his face was hard to see until Kakashi uncovered his mouth.
“Don’t tell me you are going to..?” Pakkun barked, making his way to Kakashi’s side. The jounin had his face turned away from the stranger’s extremities, but he couldn’t help but take a peek, and what he saw made him gulp and look back towards the man’s face. Pakkun began rambling in the background about how much this was a bad idea as Kakashi noted that the ‘sleeping’ man was quite attractive and would be quite dead if Kakashi didn’t get to business.
With one gentle hand, Kakashi cleared the rust-red hair from the stranger’s face before tilting his head back; causing the stranger’s lips to part. This wasn’t the jounin’s first attempt at CPR, and it was likely not his last. He laid his skillful lips against the other man’s and began the rhythmic breathing that would hopefully revive him. He couldn’t help but be slightly distracted at how soft and supple the winged-man’s lips were…
Meanwhile, Pakkun sighed heavily and gave up on convincing Kakashi against resurrecting the experiment. Instead, he busied himself with searching the rest of the room and came across some very interesting papers. Unfortunately, he didn’t have the skills to read them, but simply picked them up and waited impatiently for his jounin to finish.

For a while, the attempts of trying to revive the experiment, most likely seemed worthless, as nothing happened the first couple of minutes. But eventually, some air managed to actually reach his lungs trough all of the liquid that still was in his body. And it really god a strong reaction. Or not all too strong. He was rather weak. It was the first time he used his body, his lungs or even his eyes. He he started coughing violently to get all of the liquid in his lungs out so that he could start breathing real air. His body was pretty much built to be able to be used from the moment he left the tank, but he had been abandoned in there, so he had grown rather weak meanwhile. He needed rest and something to eat to recover. So at least it wasn't all that serious. The biggest issue had pretty much been to get him breathing, and that had already been taken care of.
But he was still coughing bad, the liquid coming out, probably the same was it got in to begin with. But once it seemed he was done, he was breathing heavy, catching breath for the first time, and grasping for something or some one to hold onto. And it was obvious who he grasped onto, just grasping onto Kakashi's clothes with a tight grip, so that the only other person he so far noticed that was around wouldn't go anywhere. But it didn't take all that long before he just passed out. Collapsing over Kakashi, since he was holding onto him. Probably would make Kakashi happy at least. But he needed to get washed off and to be taken out of this dusty rat hole and getting properly taken care of, and get some proper rest.
And Kakashi better intend to take care of him since he was the one who revived him. Right now, he wasn't capable of taking care of himself. So if he just left him, he would die, and then the reviving would have been for nothing.

Kakashi immediately pulled away as soon as the man started sputtering up the tank’s fluids. He watched him silently as the winged-stranger struggled to breathe. How long had he been in that tank..? A fistful of his jounin vest was in the man’s tight grip; slightly pulling Kakashi closer. Pakkun and he watched the stranger try to gain his bearings.
”Are you alright?” He found himself asking, not quite sure how to continue from here. The man obviously needed some clothes and possibly some nourishment, but Kakashi was still cautious. He had no idea whom he was holding and what the man was capable of. It was quite possible that he was an enemy, although he didn’t appear to be at this moment.
He had been abandoned, right? That meant that Orochimaru hadn’t thought that he was worth keeping. After a few moments of pondering, Kakashi made up his mind. He would help the stranger all he could and take him back to the village for the Hokage to deal with. If he tried anything funny… then he would have to kill him.
His words failed to reach the other man, however, as he soon found him unconscious. Pakkun was oddly silent as he watched the silver-headed jounin wrap his arms beneath the experiment and lifted him into his arms before standing awkwardly. He was trying not to look down at what lay in his arms, and the wings made the man hard to carry. He didn’t want to accidently damage the beautiful limbs, so he made his way out of the hideout with extreme care.
It took several missteps and a few stumbles before Kakashi was able to lay the man down on a bed of plush grass far from Orochimaru’s place. Before he stood up, Kakashi dug through one of his pouches and withdrew a wrap of bandages which he used to wrap up the small wounds on the man’s back. Once done, he stood easily and began to remove his vest; his dark brown eye catching the glint of paper within Pakkun’s mouth.
”What is that?” He inquired, looking away as he laid the vest over the man’s lower half. He was kneeling again, as Pakkun approached and spit the papers into Hatake’s outstretched hand. He flicked through them quickly before shoving them deep within one of his pockets. ”Llyud? That’s a strange name…” He was talking mostly to himself, and Pakkun growled.
”Well, I guess I better find you love birds something to eat, or you will both starve.”
Kakashi ignored the dog’s teasing tone, and smiled as he commenced to try and clean most of the tank’s fluid from Llyud’s body. This time, he didn’t look away, but replaced the vest when he was finished. Luckily, that was about the time Pakkun arrived with a couple of fish clamped between his jaws. Hatake quickly built a small fire and cleaned the fish before flaying them with a stick and letting them cook. All the while, his eye was flicking to Llyud’s still form; wondering if the smell of cooking fish would wake him…

Kakashi of course had no idea of that now, but there was no need to be as careful as he was being about the wings. If they had been as sensitive as Kakashi was treating them, then he would never be able to use them, since they would break if he used them. But they weren't that sensitive at all.
But on other hand. He might be told not to use them too much, since something like that might scare people. A none ninja that has the ability to fly. That is something people have reason to worry about, since it's new and unknown of. What people don't know, they fear. So it sure might take a while to adjust him to that. But then on other hand, it was good that Kakashi intended to bring him to the hokage. If the hokage said something, people might accept it if they were told by the hokage himself if this strange being was harmless.
But they were not in the village or anything yet, so no need to think about that.
During the entire time of being taken outside and cleaned off, he pretty much didn't react to anything. And it wasn't thanks to the smell of food that he woke up, but, he just simply woke up. Opening his eyes, the first thing he experienced was the stinging pain from the bright light in his eyes. He had never been outside the dark lab before, so he had never experienced the light of day till now, so it took him a little while before he could see properly. But he eventually sat up, rubbing his eyes a bit and stretching the wings out. Probably a bit of a natural reaction. But that would at least confirm that they were not just for show. And once he was, somewhat more awake, he took a glance around, having no clue in the world of where he was. But it didn't take long till he saw Kakashi, watching him for a while with rather emotionless eyes. Kakashi would have to get used to those type of eyes, since Llyud was incapable of showing or feeling emotions. So he couldn't expect much from him when it came to emotions. But that he would find out sooner or later. The ability to feel or show emotions had been taken away, in order to try fix a small 'error'. And that was that he had a mind of his own. If a bad guy was to create something to do their bidding, they couldn't have something with a will of its own. Then it might not do as it was told to. So taking away the emotions had seemed like a good plan, but that hadn't worked either. So Llyud had been left behind once the lab was abandoned. Clearly a failed experiment had no meaning. It was just simply a failure, even if it seemed that Kakashi had another idea.
After watching Kakashi for a bit, he turned his attention to the fire. He obviously didn't even notice the food. Instead, he just moved himself closer to the fire, sitting somewhat curled up. His legs close to his chest and his arms wrapped around them, and his head resting over his knees. He was somewhat cold. His body wasn't used to maintaining it's own body heat. But it should be able to do that sooner or later. And it really would have to do that as well, or he wouldn't be able to fly all that high up. But for now, it was just nice to sit near the fire and warm himself. And he really wasn't paying much attention to Kakashi. He was completely focused on the fire for now.

Kakashi watched as the mysterious man finally awoke. The rusty wings had not seemed very large when the jounin had picked him up, but as the man stretched them out, they were indeed very long. It was obvious that he could move them, and possibly even fly with them if he was inclined to do so. His eye slid from Llyud’s wings to the man’s face as he focused on Kakashi. There was something off about the man’s gaze. There was nothing behind it, and he simply looked away and scooted towards the fire.
The jounin was perplexed. Any other person would have had some kind of reaction upon waking up. He continued to watch with curiosity as the man seemed to pay no mind to the food that was slowly burning in front of him, and instead just blankly looked into the fire and shivered. Kakashi stood easily and walked up to the fire, only to kneel next to the other man. He wasn’t looking at Llyud, and instead, he reached a hand out to withdraw the fish from the fire. Kakashi brought the fish up to his face and inhaled the scent, his eye closed as he smiled. ”Would you like some? He suddenly asked, turning to face the experiment. ”I’m sure you must be starving after being in that tank for so long..” Kakashi dangled the fish in front of the other man, his arms resting on his knees casually.

He really was slow at reacting. And as Kakashi spoke to him, he at frist didn't react at all. But he reacted first as Kakashi dangled the fish in front of him. It did smell really nice, so he just assumed from that that it was meant to eat. And Kakashi did ask if he wanted some. What other use would he have for it if it wasn't for eating?
He gave a somewhat nod as he extended his hand towards the fish. But since he wasn't sure how it was meant to be held and all, he grabbed Kakashis entire hand and pretty much let him hold it for him as Llyud took a small test bite.
Yupp. It was without a doubt meant for eating. So still holding onto Kakashi's hand, he simply took another bite from the fish. He probably was behaving somewhat odd. But everything outside the tank was new for him. But at least he had some basic instincts as eating and seeking warmth if he was cold. And he could move around, and he most likely had some control of how to use his wings. But it might take a while for him to start speaking and behaving like a... human, bird, thing? And hopefully, Orichimaru hadn't bothered to give him some of the bad sides when it came to instinct and such. But so far, he at least seemed harmless enough. And since he was pretty much, supposed to look grownup, he would hopefully learn fast. Doubtful that Orichimaru would want to spend years and years to teach his creations what they needed to know.

Kakashi watched with curiosity and a raised brow as the Llyud simply took his entire hand and began eating the fish. The whole scene was quite laughable, but the jounin merely grinned and shook his head. ”Here,” Kakashi spoke, using his other hand to lightly grab a hold of the man’s wrist. He then pulled his hand away from the stick so that Llyud was now holding it instead of the nin’s hand. ”I need my hand back.” He teased as he released the man’s wrist. He continued to watch him with one critical cocoa eye as he moved back some and took his own seat on the ground next to the fire.
When the other fish was done cooking, Kakashi pulled it out of the fire and began to munch on it; his gaze leaving Llyud. Unfortunately, the fish didn’t take very long to eat, and Kakashi was left far from being full. With a sigh, Kakashi flopped back onto the grass. One of his hands went to the pouch at his side and pulled out a small book. He slowly flipped to a random page, and his eye began to move over it lazily. This would be his second time reading this issue of Icha Icha Paradise, and he soon found his mind wondering to the man next to him.
What most people didn’t know was that Kakashi often found himself doing this exact thing… fake reading. Usually he could get into the book easily, but not when there was a puzzle sitting right beside him. He sighed once again; trying to clear his mind. The Hokage would handle this mysterious man. All he had to do was get them all safely back to the village. Hopefully, tomorrow morning Llyud would be fit for travel and from there it shouldn’t take the pair very long to make their way back to Konoha.
The sun was almost hidden beneath the grassy horizon, and with these thoughts, Kakashi once again glanced over at his quiet, and hopefully sleeping, companion.

He blinked a bit as Kakashi grabbed his wrist and put the stick with the fish in his hand instead. It had seemed allot more easy to have Kakashi hold it for him. But he soon enough discovered that it was much more easy to hold it on his own. So he didn't think much more about it and just kept munching on the fish, till he was pretty much finished. It wasn't enough to fill him up either, but it was enough for now.
He instead felt really sleepy. And sleep was a natural instinct, so he knew how that worked. But since he had no clothes, he didn't just want to lay down and sleep of course. He would be cold doing that. And he had noticed that the other man was warm when he had been holding his hand to eat before. So, obviously, he wasn't thinking much as he got up for a few moments, somewhat unsteady, taking a few steps over to Kakashi, and stepping between him and his book and sitting down in between, since that should keep him warm. Right now, he was pretty much going purely on instincts. To keep himself warm, to eat, and to sleep. And he so far really had no respect for personal space. But it was probably just as good considering he had no clothes and he was cold.
But he of course had to place his wings in some other position so that he could sit properly, which most likely covered up the view of the book even more. But at least he was comfortable. REALLY comfortable, and warm, so now it didn't take him long to fall asleep. He just leaned back against Kakashi and drifted into a deep sleep.
He really would have allot to learn. And most likely allot or trouble to go trough as well, since he would have to meet the hokage. But hopefully, he would get some clothes first. Would be really strange to take a naked guy with wings to see the hokage.

Kakashi was surprised to say the least. He almost couldn’t have imagined it better if he tried. It wasn’t often that an attractive NAKID man snuggled into your lap; especially when they had only just been with one another for a couple of hours. To be honest, Kakashi didn’t know what to do. His mouth hung open in shock, but luckily his mask camouflaged most of his embarrassment save for the dark blush that grew along his cheeks. When he finally clamped it shut, he squeezed his eyes close in an attempt not to look at the man that now snuggled into his lap. If he thought about it, which he tried not to, it was actually a miracle that Llyud fit. Kakashi thought that it would have been difficult with the large rusty colored wings on the strangers back, but there didn’t seem to be much awkwardness as Llyud simply adjusted them and fit cozily between the jounin’s open legs.
After an awkward moment, Kakashi decided to shut the slim book and fumble it back into his pouch. It would not be a good idea for him to read a ‘trashy’ novel while Llyud snuggled against him with a soft sigh. He was also too nice to order the man to move, and he tried not to admit that he actually enjoyed it. Best not to think about it at all. Yep, best not to think about how long it had been since someone had last been this close to him. A frustrated sigh left Kakashi’s lips as he rolled his shoulders and prepared himself for a night of restlessness. No doubt that Llyud’s presence was sure to keep him awake all night. Maybe that was for the best, though. Someone had to keep watch, and Pakkun had already left for his next errand: to find Llyud some clothes.
After trying to adjust his legs, Kakashi abruptly stopped. Nope, don’t do that again. The motion was to much like grinding when Llyud was sitting in his lap, so the frustrated jounin simply wrapped his arms around the winged stranger and laid his head on his shoulder. ”Hope you’re comfy…” He mumbled, watching the sun finish its last creep beneath the horizon.
When morning hit, Pakkun stepped into view from the tree line. Apparently, his little mission had been a success, for he had a bundle of clothes tied awkwardly around his midsection. Kakashi couldn’t help but give a light laugh at the sight, but was immediately grateful. Llyud needed to cover up his body and remove himself from the jounin’s lap before he burst. So, Kakashi unwound his arms from his companion and gave them a stretch. ”Time to wake up sleepy-head, and get dressed.” He said, giving Llyud a light shake.

Llyud was sleeping really comfortable where he was sitting. As long as Kakashi didn't move around too much, he was being really warm and cozy. And during the night, he had really snuggled up against Kakashi. But he couldn't help it. This was his first night outside that tank, so everything was new to him, and he was enjoying everything so far.
But as morning came, and he felt some one shaking a bit. First then he opened his eyes, even if he was still sleepy.
He gave a heavy yawn and stretched both his arms and wings out a bit, before he just simply leaned back against Kakashi again. Clearly still not quite awake. But at least he kept his eyes open, giving the dog with the clothes on his back an odd look.
But even if he had clothes now, he of course would have no clue what-so-ever on how to put them on, so that Kakashi would have to help him with that.
But he still, out of curiosity moved over a bit. Moving over to the dog and taking the clothes that was tied to the dog, at least taking a look at them. But since he saw Kakashi wearing those type of things, he had a somewhat idea on how to use them, even if his idea was a bit odd. He just placed the clothes over him like a blanket or something. Not that effective. But he was still fairly confused. Would take a while to teach him what he needed to know and learn.

Kakashi watched with amusement as Llyud finally moved over to Pakkun and took the clothes. After the man was off of his lap, the jounin stood awkwardly. Yep, sitting down for a long period of time is not good on the butt and legs… He groaned as he finally managed to stand, hands immediately going to his sore butt. All of his muscles were sore and cramped from spending the night like that. His eye flicked to Llyud and watched as he started to experiment with how to put the clothes on. Oh great… has he ever been outside of that tank? Kakashi began doing some stretches to limber his body back up while he thought. It was pretty obvious that this was Llyud’s first time interacting with people and the outside world.
He finished stretching with a defeated sigh and walked up to where Llyud was sitting on the ground with a pile of clothes draped over his body. ”Here, let me help you Llyud.” The jounin reached a hand out and hauled the winged man up to his feet in one smooth motion. Unfortunately, all of the clothes slipped off of Llyud and pooled at his feet.
*sweat drop*
Kakashi squeezed his eye shut and bent down. His hands hurriedly gathered up the clothes, and he stood back up. Okay, he had seen plenty of naked guys before, but this was somehow different. To be honest, it was a little unsettling, but that was just because Llyud always brought a blush to his cheeks and Kakashi was finding it increasingly difficult not to think about the lean body before him. He shook his head roughly, and his eye opened to look at the man guiltily. However, Llyud seemed to show no sign of understanding Kakashi’s inner struggle, so he let out the breath he had been holding. It didn’t make him feel any better however, there was just something wrong with Llyud. He showed no emotion.
Kakashi thought about this as he commenced to helping Llyud dress. The jounin was forced to cut long strips in the back of Llyud’s shirt and it was a little difficult to pull it down over his wings, but Kakashi somehow managed. Once that was done, he found himself sighing again. The clothes fit Llyud well, a bit too well for Kakashi’s liking. He had been hoping that a clothed Llyud would be easier to deal with, but that was unlikely now. ”Are you ready to leave?” He suddenly asked, looking away from the winged man and down the path that they would have to take back to Konoha.

Llyud was a bit unprepared when Kakashi came over to him and pulled him up to his feet. But he didn't make much of a reaction to it. But he did give a somewhat reaction to his name though. He had probably heard it a few times before, while he still was in the tank or something. Orichimaru had done allot of attempts to try take away his free will, so he had said it a few times. But now he at least knew who Kakashi was speaking to. So he was paying attention now. Even if there didn't seem to be much for Llyud to pay attention to. But he simply stood there and watched as Kakashi was picking the clothes up from the ground. If he have had emotions, he would probably be acting different. But since he neither had emotions or knew better, he didn't seem to really care much.
He probably looked younger then he was supposed to be. He was meant to look like he was about twenty. But since he was somewhat small, for the sake of the wings, and the fact that he was 'new born', he probably looked like a bit of a child. But on other hand, he was only about half a head shorter then Kakashi, so he wasn't all too short. He was still near the height of a grown man.
But enough of that. He was being rather willing when Kakashi was helping him putting on the clothes. It felt somewhat strange, but that was because he was still unused to them. But once fully dressed, it wasn't cold or anything anymore. Even if it wasn't all that cold now anyhow, since it was a bright warm morning. In fact, right now, it felt somewhat strange to wear clothes, since it was already warm. But since Kakashi was wearing them, he probably should as well. So nothing more to do about that.
But he did watch Kakashi as he asked him if he was ready to leave. He really wasn't all too sure about the words at all, but yet, he nodded a bit. He at least realized that they were not staying there. So, mostly out of instinct, he started moving his wings in a soft rhythm, till he was off the ground. He clearly intended to fly rather then walk. But why not? As long as he didn't fly too fast it shouldn't be a problem, right? He was meant to fly. Otherwise he would go trough life dragging along a pair of heavy wings.

Kakashi watched as Llyud pumped his wings and lifted off the ground. It was pretty obvious that he intended to fly, so the jounin simply shrugged his shoulders and took off down the path. He found himself glancing up at the sky every once-in-awhile to make sure that Llyud wasn’t having any troubles trying to follow him. He also tried to stick to routes that had an open sky, so it would be easier to see the jounin that ran below the winged man. Llyud most likely had an easier time in the air than Kakashi did on the ground, and before he knew it, the large cherry-red Konoha gates could be seen in the distance. This caused Kakashi to slow down to a walk and finally stop; his head titled to look at the man flying above him.
Llyud probably couldn’t hear Kakashi if he yelled, so the jounin stuck to waving his arms in the air in an attempt to get his attention. It wasn’t a good idea for Llyud to simply fly right into the village. Times were still rough after Orochimaru’s attack, and the citizens would probably believe that the winged man was an invader. Nope, it would just be easier if Llyud walked into Konoha beside Kakashi. Of course, the rusty wings on his back would draw a lot of unwanted stares, but most wouldn’t question it in Kakashi’s presence. Luckily, Pakkun, whom had remained oddly silent on the venture, decided to run ahead and warn the gate guards about their approach. From there, he would make his way to the Hokage’s building to warn them as well.

Llyud really was having an easy time to keep up with Kakashi. Another huge advantage of being able to fly rather then having to run. If Llyud would have had to run, he most likely wouldn't be able to keep up in a milion years. He wasn't a ninja, so there was allot of attributes he lacked. What on earth Orochimaru was planning with him was for anyone to guess. But on other hand. An army of air born fighters would be really effective. No matter their strengt. If you could attack from above, the you only needed a great number to be able to pull it off. But since Llyud had been left behid, there was something that hadn't gone right. So hopefully that idea was completely abandoned now.
But as Kakashi stopped at the sight of the gates, Llyud looked down at him, somewhat confused, since he had no idea why they were stopping and why Kakashi was waving his arms. So it took him a while before he decided to land, and see what it might be Kakashi wanted to do now. Since he had no idea, it would be better for Llyud to stick with Kakashi.
He really had no idea what was waiting ahead of him. Speaking to the hokage, when Llyud obviously didn't know how to speak or what any of the words meant and such. And if Kakashi had to leave the room, he would most likely be really uncomfortable and probably try to follow Kakashi along rather then stay with the hokage. Kakashi was the first one that he had meet, so he had a strange attachment to him. Even without emotions or feelings. So you could probably imagine how strong of an attachment he would have if the crystal broke and his emotions came back to him. Then he most likely never would leave Kakashi's side.
But, he still had no idea what Kakashi's name was. He hadn't exactl tried to teach him his name either. The only name he recognized was his own.

Kakashi watched Llyud land a few feet away from him. He was suddenly hit with thoughts of what was about to happen. What would Tsunade say about the winged experiment? More importantly, what would ultimately happen to him? Kakashi was suddenly anxious as he beckoned for Llyud to follow him before he turned and headed towards the village. When the pair walked beneath the gates, the two guards, Izumo and Kotetsu, looked at them with great curiosity but remained silent as they passed on into Konoha. Kakashi walked rather slow in an attempt to keep Llyud beside him. The other man didn’t seem to mind, or notice Kakashi’s sudden change in mood.
He was oddly worried about what would happen, but he tried not to think too much of it and instead began to talk. ”This is Konoha.” He explained, as they walked through the village. Several buildings along the street were being repaired, and people moved about with mournful looks to one another. ”We are about to see the Hokage, Tsunade.” He turned his head to eye his companion; trying to tell if Llyud could understand anything. Kakashi had the feeling that the other man couldn’t understand a thing.
With a small sigh, Kakashi found himself entering the large red building. It was quiet here, and no one was around. Chances were that everyone was outside helping in repairing the buildings. It didn’t take long to climb the stairs and for Kakashi to gently rap on the Hokage’s door.
”Come in.” A loud femine voice called from behind the door. Kakashi gave Llyud one last look before pushing the door open and moving inside. Tsunade was glaring at a large stack of papers mounted on her desk, but she looked up at the odd pair as they entered. ”Close the door behind you.” She ordered, looking bored. ”You know, Kakashi, when I gave you this mission I did not believe that you would actually find anything, but here you stand with this experiment or some such.” She observed, waving a hand as she spoke. ”I suppose he isn’t dangerous since you don’t have him all tied up or anything, so please explain why we shouldn’t just get rid of him.”
Kakashi gave Llyud a lingering glance, and was sure that the man hadn’t understood anything that had just transpired. ”He is harmless as far as I can tell.” He answered, turning to face the Hokage once more. ”I believe that this is his first time being out in the world. His name is Llyud.” Kakashi walked forwards and pulled out the papers that Pakkun had found in the laboratory. Tsunade took them and quickly glanced through the pages before coming to a conclusion.
”Alright, you may keep him, but he has to stay with YOU all the time. I want you to keep an eye on him, which means that he will now be living with you, and I want weekly reports on his developments.” She ordered, before waving a hand to dismiss the pair. It was beginning to seem like Kakashi should get use to be surprised now that Llyud was around. It took a moment for everything to sink in before the jounin abruptly turned and walked from the room.

When they got where they were supposed to go, Llyud was paying attention to everything but the hokage. She wasn't as interesting as the unfamiliar surrounding. But he did kind of register one thing. Something that sounded like a name. And he repeated it in his head a few times after hearing it. He would actually give it an attempt once the two of them had finished speaking to each other.
And it most likely would be interesting for Kakashi to hear what his absolute first word was ever since he came out of the tank to now. He hadn't really spoken at all before, so it was a bit rough.
The first attempt he did to speak, his mouth moved somewhat, but there was no sound coming from him. The two of them might not really be paying any attention to him right now for all he knew, but that he didn't care about. He was busy, trying to do what the two of them were doing. Speaking.
But it seemed that no matter how many times he tried, he couldn't get the hang on how to make the sound come out. If anyone was paying attention to him right now, it would probably look as if he was completely unable to speak at all. But after a few attempts, about when the two were done speaking, he managed to get something out, even if it was more like a weak whisper. But it was his first word, and it showed that he could speak. He just needed practice.
"Ka... ka... shi..."
He had simply assumed that it was the name of the man that had been taking care of him all night, so, that was what he really wanted to say first of all.

Kakashi had managed to turn around, but suddenly stopped. His head tilted to look at the man beside him with surprise. His lean body twisted around to face Llyud, and his gaze flicked to Tsunade. It was apparent that either she was paying no attention to the pair, or she didn’t really care. A small smirk played on the jounin’s lips as he gently wrapped his fingers around Llyud’s arm and guided him out of the Hokage’s office. ”I thought that you couldn’t speak?” He inquired after the door shut behind them. Maybe he couldn’t before, but it brought a smile to Kakashi’s lips. Llyud had said his name first. It didn’t seem like a coincidence either, by the look on the winged man’s face.
He let his hand fall from Llyud’s arm as he led the way out of the Hokage’s building. Once outside, Kakashi was struck with a memory prior to his mission. He suddenly groaned, a hand reaching up to ruffle through his ivory hair. ”Well, Llyud, I guess you will get to meet one of my students today.” He observed, grinning at the man as he began to head towards the dumpling store. Why had he agreed to meet Sasuke here? It took a moment for him to remember: training. The jounin groaned softly, he had been hoping that he would have missed their meeting and still be on the mission instead.
His steps suddenly slowed. Beneath the banner, his gaze landed on a black robe; red clouds etched into the fabric as it fluttered softly in the wind. Kakashi continued forwards, and stopped at the side of the small store. He had planned on going ahead and buying Llyud some food, but now he decided to wait. Before too long, two well known jounin appeared. ”Hey there, you two.” Kakashi greeted, and the pair looked up in surprise. ”My, you two get along well.” He teased, before either could say anything.
A blush crept along Kurenai’s cheeks as she looked away. ”Idiot, I’m only here because Anko asked me to buy some dumplings for her.” She responded. Asuma, however, wasn’t as fazed. The man’s gaze slid from Kakashi to his silent companion. ”And what are you doing here?”
”Well, I am meeting someone here.” Kakashi answered lazily, before laying a hand on Llyud’s shoulder. ”Sasuke that is.” Kakashi’s eye slid from the pair to the robe that was still visible beneath the dumpling banner. The two followed his gaze, but kept silent. ”This here is Llyud. He is going to be staying with me for a while.” He suddenly introduced, drawing their gaze back to the winged man. ”Lllud, this is Kurenai and Asuma.”

Llyud just looked at Kakashi when he felt the fingers around his arm, leading him out of the room and out of the building. It did seem as if Llyud had done something good since Kakashi seemed to be in a really good mood after that last thing. Did he like it that Llyud had said his name? If so, he wouldn't mind trying to say it again if it made him in such a good mood. And he actually repeated it a few times on the way out. He wanted to learn to say it properly. But he didn't seem to be paying much attention to the question asked to him. He probably wouldn't be able to answer it anyhow. Though, the fact that he was saying Kakashi's name should be proof enough that he could speak. But once outside the building, Llyud was paying attention to everything else rather then to pay attention to Kakashi or anyone else. But it should be ok since Kakashi was holding onto him and leading the way for him. So he wouldn't end up walking into anything. But he did turn his attention back to Kakashi when they stopped in front of some place that did smell really nice. What were they going to do here?
The Llyud would have no idea about. Since he still didn't understand things that well. He didn't even listen when Kakashi sad something else. The surrounding was too distracting right now. And he was more interested in the smell that was coming from the dumpling store. He was still hungry, since he hadn't had much to eat the other day.
But as there was another two people that Kakashi seemed to speak to, Llyud only paid them attention for a brief moment before he was looking around the surrounding again. But he looked back at Kakashi as he felt the hand on his shoulder. Mostly just to confirm it really was Kakashi touching him. Otherwise he would have pulled away. But since it was Kakashi, he didn't. But he turned his attention back to the dumpling shop once again. It probably was obvious enough that he was hungry. Food was the only thing he really thought about right now. He didn't even pay attention to when Kakashi introduced him to the two people that was there with them.
And since it seemed that they were not moving anywhere right now, Llyud looked up at Kakashi, and placing his hand on Kakashi's hand that was resting on his shoulder, giving Llyud a somewhat innocent look, even if there was no emotions to it. But he was hungry. So he wanted to go where the smell was and eat something.
"Kakashi...?"

It seemed like Llyud was really getting use to saying his name now. For some reason, it made Kakashi smile. Both jounin nodded at his companion, and gave him curious looks. A sudden breeze swept through the area, and a new voice broke Kakashi’s thoughts. ”Kakashi? It is unusual for you to be here first.” His gaze slid to the young boy as he stopped before the group. I’m not always late… am I? He thought, answering his own question. ”I do it from time to time.” He replied, as everyone shot a glance towards the dumpling store. The robes were no longer visible beneath the banner as Sasuke responded with a suspicious look. ”I don’t like natto and sweets.”
Kakashi had the urge to roll his eyes. Of course Sasuke didn’t like anything sweet. The kid sure did have a knack for being sour. ”Oh really?” Kakashi replied, instead. He turned slightly to give Asuma and Kurenai a meaningful look. Why does this have to be happening now? The two jounin read his look easily and nodded before quickly jumping off in pursuit of the robes. Now, Kakashi could almost feel Sasuke’s suspicion and curiosity, and even Llyud’s eagerness for food. However, he was also worried about his fellow jounin. He had a feeling that they were not going to be enough to stop the two robed men. Especially since he already had suspicions on whom they were.
It was obvious that he was going to have to help them, and… he was actually kind of eager to. The only problem now, was to get rid of Sasuke and Llyud. There was no way that he could bring the pair with him, and it didn’t feel right to just abandon Llyud. ”Sasuke?” He suddenly inquired, bringing the boy’s attention to him. ”This is Llyud. He is a friend of mine that will be staying with me for awhile. I need you to show him around town for a little while.” He explained, reaching into a pouch at his side to pull out a couple of coins. Kakashi saw the scowl on Sasuke’s face and knew the boy was about to protest, but stopped once the silver headed jounin gave him an odd look. He then grinned, and took one of the boy’s hands; dropping the coins into his grip. ”Here, help yourselves.” Kakashi said, gesturing to the dumpling store. Sasuke murmured something beneath his breath and ducked beneath the banner.
Kakashi was left with Llyud, and he had a feeling that the other man was going to be reluctant with their parting. He turned to face the winged man with an apologetic smile. ”I’m sorry, Llyud. I have to go do something, but I will be back as soon as I can.” He explained, one of his hands touching the curve of Llyud’s back. Kakashi used his other arm to push back the banner and step inside the store, guiding his companion in as well. Sasuke was sitting only a few seats down from where the robed strangers were, and Kakashi led Llyud there. He was determined to help Llyud get comfortable before he disappeared. His head tilted in a nod as he looked at Llyud and gestured for him to take a seat.

Llyud didn't really pay Sasuke any attention at all. Right now, Kakashi had his full attention, even as Kakashi introduced him to Sasuke. All that was on his mind was that Kakashi was there, and that there was food near by. But mostly it was Kakashi that mattered. And he would probably notice, as Llyud was holding onto his arm. But he did look somewhat confused about what was going on as the other guy was given something from Kakashi, and the strange look in Kakashi's eye. All of a sudden, Llyud just forgot about the food for now, looking at Kakashi with a confused look. He had no idea what was going on, but he did sense that something was not right. And as Kakashi started leading him into the shop and motioning for him to sit down, Llyud didn't sit down, he just looked at Kakashi instead, not letting his eyes off of him.
"Kakashi...?"
He simply asked, somewhat, as he held onto Kakashi's clothes even tighter. He didn't want Kakashi to go away somewhere without him. Then Llyud wanted to come too. He was not about to sit down and eat with some stranger and let Kakashi leave him behind. Then he would rather starve and go with him then to sit down and eat and wait for him to come back.

OCC: Okay, this is going to take awhile, so I'm going to use a few posts. You're welcome to go ahead and post, but unfortunately, I'm not going to let Llyud tag along with Kakashi.
^^
If you like, he can find him right after the Akatsuki leave.
So, he could maybe eat and then wonder off from Sasuke to find Kakashi.
Or something... lol
Llyud’s attachment to Kakashi was touching, but it had the jounin worried. For awhile now he had been thinking about what Orochimaru could have done to the winged man, and the only things he could think of involved combat. It was just too risky for Llyud to come with him. Kakashi knew that there was going to be a fight, and there was a part of him that was worried that violence might trigger something within Llyud. He also had to admit that he was fond of the strange man, and he didn’t want to see anything unfortunate happen. So, a smile crossed his lips as he gently plied away Llyud’s grip. Kakashi was leaning into the shorter man, his mouth near Llyud’s ear. Sasuke was only a few feet away, and the boy was becoming too curious for his own good.
“Llyud..” He whispered, ”You have to stay here for a bit.” He just couldn’t come along. If Llyud didn’t back down and decide to stay, then… Kakashi wasn’t quite sure what he would have to do. The vulnerable look on Llyud’s face made the act of withdrawing from his embrace even harder for Kakashi. He knew that Llyud was more than likely just going to try and follow him, so Kakashi had no choice but to disappear in a plume of smoke. Why did he suddenly feel so bad? Now wasn’t the time to be worrying about Llyud’s hurt feelings… not when his dark eye landed on the scene before him.
OCC: Some of this script was borrowed from the anime.
Kakashi wasted no time in lifting a hand and raising his headband up over his second eye. The vibrant red eye scanned the enemies before him in a mere second before Kakashi jumped into the fray against the two Akatsuki members. ”But this is it… for you.” It was apparent that Kakashi had made it there just in time. With a few hand signals, he had created a shadow clone. One of the Kakashi now stood on the water; a kunai held in his grip and across the neck of the man standing over Kurenai… Itachi. The other Kakashi had his eyes on Asuma and the man with blue skin. The moment he began a series of hand signals, Kakashi began to move with him. ”Suiton: Suikoudan no Jutsu.”
Immediately the water began to bubble before two large spouts of water gushed up in the form of sharks. They collided between Asuma and his opponent. ”The same technique as mine?” The odd looking man was a tad shocked, to be sure, as his eyes laid on Kakashi who now faced him. Asuma stood up from behind the silver headed jounin and spoke. ”And why did you come here?”
”I asked the two of you to deal with them back there… but you know, I got worried.” Kakashi answered, as everyone noticed him and his shadow clone. He always did have a knack for entrances. ”What does a renegade ninja like you want in this village?” The one standing behind Itachi asked; his silver eyebrows knotted in a frown.
Itachi turned to face Kakashi; his bright red orbs blazing as he looked the jounin in the eyes. ”Kakashi Hatake…” It was all he said. His eyes are still that same as before. Kakashi observed. Then again, he’s a true heir of the Sharingan… I have to assume the worst case scenario.
”This is a surprise. No wonder you could do that with my technique.” The blue-skinned man casually observed. ”I wouldn’t have believed that someone had the same eyes as Itachi-san unless I had seen it with my own eyes. Your name was… The Copy Ninja Kakashi.”
The Kakashi that stood in front of Asuma, responded next. ”I’m the one who is surprised. I saw some weird guys at the teahouse, and I wondered who they could be… and they turned out to be Itachi Uchiha, and the monster from the Hidden Village of Mist, Hoshigaki Kisame.”
Kisame grinned, showing rows of sharply pointed teeth. ”My, my, you know my name too. I’m honored.” He teased.
Kakashi narrowed his eyes at the man, but spoke. ”I see… You’re one of the Seven Shinobi-gatana of the Mist… and that large blade of yours must be Samehada.”
This earned a chuckle from the man as he adjusted the grip on the large blade. ”I heard that kid Zabuza fought you.”
All of this talking was wearing on Kakashi’s nerves, but he answered with a ‘yeah’ as one of his hands went behind his back to grip a kunai. Kisame’s eyes widened before he suddenly raised his blade in the air and brought it perpendicular to Kakashi. ”I’ll enjoy shaving you to death.”
”Stop, Kisame.” Surprisingly, it was Itachi that intervened. ”If you fight him head on, you will suffer unnecessary injuries. Also, if we take too much time, more ninjas will arrive.” Kisame tried vainly to interrupt with a ‘but’, yet his partner continued. ”Do not forget our purpose. You did not come here to get hurt.”
Now they were getting somewhere. ”Then tell us that purpose of yours.” Kakashi suddenly ordered, his eyes carefully watching Itachi. He finally allowed his shadow clone to disappear; it being the one standing between Asuma and Kisame.
”We just came to find something we are looking for.” Itachi’s answer was vague as he turned to face the real Kakashi standing behind him.
”Something you’re looking for..?” Of course, Kakashi immediately thought of his pupil, Sasuke, but he needed to clarify. The silver headed jounin rose his kunai. ”And what exactly are you looking for?”
”I won’t take as long as Kisame if I do this.” Itachi threatened, before both men glared at each other. Kakashi’s keen eyes easily caught the glint of shurikens before he bounded into the air; his hands quickly forming several seals.
”Ninpou Suiton Suijinheki!” Kakashi exclaimed, right before several streams of water rushed from the pond and collided in the air. He used that technique fast… I couldn’t follow the seal formations with my eyes. He used those shurikens in his right hand as a decoy, and tried to hit my legs with a water element move. He observed, worry suddenly creeping into his thoughts. Yes, it was a good thing that Llyud was not here.
”Very nice, Kakashi-san. Your eye of insight is impressive…” Right as his last word rolled from his mouth, Itachi poked Kakashi in the back with the tip of one of his kunai.
Kurenai was still crouched on the water’s surface, several feet away but he could see her eyes widen in shock. ”A shadow replication? He uses his techniques too fast!” Kakashi was not about to be outdone, however, as his lean form suddenly turned to water and melded away.
”A water clone?” It was now Kisame’s turn to sound surprised. ”A mere copy ninja can use this many techniques from our village? Impressive.”
Itachi’s eyes widened slightly as he caught a glimpse of Kakashi moving beneath the water’s surface. Kurenai grinned and shifted; a kunai in her grasp. ”Nice Kakashi.” He could tell that his comrade was about to begin an attack, and Kakahsi was forced to jump out of the water with her in his arms. ”Get down Kurenai! This one is the shadow replication.” He murmured to her, as a blast irrupted on the water’s surface.
Asuma’s view of his comrades was blocked, as he shouted out their names. He immediately jumped into the air and into the water’s blast. Itachi’s shadow clone had exploded, and when the water slowly began to dissipate; the group could be seen. Kakashi stood with his back towards the Uchiha, with Asuma and Kurenai at his front. Having his enemy at his back was no good, so Kakashi turned; a scowl marring his features. ”Don’t let your guard down. He is the man that became an ANBU squad leader at the age of thirteen.” Kakashi reminded them.
”I didn’t expect him to be this strong.” Asuma admitted, as he readied himself for the next round.
”No, he hasn’t shown his true strength yet.” The Copy Nin clarified. He took a step to face his silent opponent before Itachi spoke.
”I’m impressed that you can use your Sharingan so well even thought you are not apart of the Uchiha clan. But… your body is not an Uchiha body , which the eye needs to work best.”
He is right… I tire easily. This wasn’t something that Kakashi could change, but something that he just had to learn to live with. It was true that he would never be as strong as the Uchiha standing before him.
”I will show you why the Uchiha clan was feared and reputed to be unmatched.” Itachi continued, his eyes closing briefly. ”The Sharingan… the bloodline limit’s true power.”
Kakashi’s eyes widened and his muscles tensed. Could this be..? ”This is bad!” Kakashi warned as Itachi slowly began to open his eyes. ”You two! Don’t look into his eyes!” They immediately followed his order, and Kakashi was forced to shut his dark brown eye as well. ”Don’t open your eyes. If you see his eyes right now, then you’re dead. Only a person with Sharingan can deal with his technique right now.” He explained, before Itachi finally spoke again.
”It’s true that if you have Sharigan, you can resist this Mangekyou Sharingan a little. However… You cannot counter this special Sharingan eye technique… The illusionary technique called, Tsukuyomi. Only a person who has the same bloodline limit as me, a Sharingan user, can defeat me.”
Kakashi’s brows were knotted with strain as a single name fluttered through his thoughts… ‘Sasuke’. This however, also brought a brief image of Llyud to his thoughts before Kakashi pushed them all away. He needed every bit of his concentration now. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough… Kakashi couldn’t resist his attack, and suddenly the jounin’s breathing grew ragged. His eyes fluttered, as he panted before falling to all fours. It really was amazing how he kept above the water’s surface.
”What’s wrong, Kakashi? You still want us to keep our eyes closed?” Kurenai asked with a hint of worry in her voice.
Kakashi continued to pant, and it took him a moment before he could speak. ”Not yet… Don’t open them yet.” He spoke, pain lacing his words.
”What happened?” Asuma exclaimed, frowning. ”You suddenly fell down after he stopped talking.”
Gathering his strength, Kakashi managed to raise up, one arm propped against his knee for support. His head was bowed, and his long silvery hair obscured his face from view. Three days in that world is less than a second in the real world? He raised his head to stare at the man across the water. But… why did he not kill me? He could’ve if he tried…
Kisame finally jumped down next to his partner. ”Oh? You didn’t experience a mental collapse after going through that? But, Itachi-san… It’s dangerous to use those eyes too much.” The blue man’s observation was interesting, but Kakashi interrupted.
”Is Sasuke what you’re looking for?” He suddenly asked. It was imperative that they know.
Itachi’s eyes narrowed, but surprisingly, he finally answered. ”No… we are after the Fourth Hokage’s legacy.”
”Naruto…” It was definitely a surprise. As he spoke his student’s name, a recent memory floated into his thoughts. ”Are you after the Nine-Tails inside Naruto? I know that you two aren’t the only ones who are moving around. The name of your organization was Akatsuki, was it?” Kakashi panted, causing a collective gasp from the group.
”Kisame, we’re going to take Kakashi-san. Let’s have the other two disappear.” Itachi replied, causing Kisame to immediately rush towards the jounin.
”Konoha Strong Whirlwind!” A man in green exclaimed, a well rounded kick tossing Kisame back. Gai landed in front of Kakashi, and struck his fighting stance.
”Who are you?” He inquired, a toothy grin on his face.
”Konoha’s Noble Blue Beast…Mite Gai.” He answered, a gleam of sunlight shining off of his pearly white teeth. Needless to say, but Kakashi was actually glad to see Gai for once. There were dark circles beneath the Copy Nin’s eyes and he continued to pant; his mind not wanting to focus on the conversation that was taking place before him. His vision was beginning to darken around the edges, and his muscles trembled before he began to sink beneath the water’s surface…

The moment Kakashi had just disappeared, Llyud had been left completely puzzled and confused, having no idea where Kakashi had gone. And if Sasuke hadn't stopped him, he would have gone off to search for him. But Sasuke had pretty much convinced him to not follow, thanks to some dumplings. Hunger really dominated Llyud's mind right now. All he had eaten, ever was the fish the other day. So he was strawing. And the smell had been too much for him to decline.
So even if he'd rather go find Kakashi, he had joined Sasuke to eat some dumplings. And it turned out to be a rather good thing too. Even if Sasuke most likely didn't like him all that much, Sasuke pretty much forced him to learn some new words other then Kakashi. Even if Llyud managed to tie them together with different things about Kakashi. He really had a strong bound towards Kakashi. It was like a baby bird. The first think they saw they got attached to. And the first one Llyud had seen when he came out of the tank was Kakashi.
But while he was sitting there, eating some dumplings to fill up his hunger, Sasuke had asked to see the crystal that Llyud had around his neck. And since he really didn't feel much of a connection to it, he had just handed it over for Sasuke to look at. Though, there must have been something terrible wrong with it, since after looking at it, Sasuke actually broke it. And the moment it broke, Llyud felt a sharp pain in his chest. He was missing Kakashi quite badly. Even if he hadn't been gone for too long. But it was too much for him to stay there and just wait. He just couldn't. He had to go find Kakashi. So before he really gave Sasuke much of a chance to react, he was up on his feet and already up in the air. Would probably look odd to allot to see some one flying above the village. But he was doing no one any harm. So far, he was just trying to find Kakashi. And his search was making him look further away from the village to. He was not going to give up till he found Kakashi.

Kakashi had lost all consciousness, so he didn’t notice when he was pulled from the water my Gai. He heaved Kakashi over his shoulder and stood to face the Akatsuki, whom to everyone’s surprise, decided to retreat. After a brief exchange of words, Gai turned and headed off in the direction of the hospital. Asuma and Kurenai were left alone on the water’s surface, where they exchanged a look. Both were not quite sure what had transpired between Kakashi and Itachi, but they were worried. The Copy-Nin was not one to be taken out very easily.
After a moment, the pair jumped back onto the road. A light breeze fluttered Kurenai’s hair, and she heard the flapping of wings that it carried. Her head titled up, and one slender hand went to shade her ruby eyes from the sun’s glare. She squinted, but then her eyes widened. Was that the man Kakashi had just been with? What was his name…? ”Asuma,” She grabbed a hold of his upper arm and pointed to the sky where Llyud flew towards them. ”Is that… Llyud? Kakashi’s friend?”
Asuma nodded, ashes drifting off of the end of his cigarette at the movement. ”Yeah… he must be looking for Kakashi.” He answered, before beginning to wave his hands in the air; trying to get the winged man’s attention by yelling his name as well. Hopefully, Llyud would recognize the pair and land.
