My father is allergic to cats. :/ Really big bummer, considering before my mom died I had a pet dog && and cat.

We have 4 cats. All are completely evil. None hold forks. If they could, they would steal dinner off our plates instead of off the stove. Two are so huge that they sound like a herd of elephants running around at night. We have no mice and squirrels are scared of coming into our yard. I love my evil kitties.

O: I got a neighbor up the street, with over 100 cats. ._________.;;
His wife ( who we called The Cat Lady ) recently died, so her husband has gotten rid of some.
xDDD
Edit:
They're like, a freakin' army. xD

What else is to do? Having over like 10 animals in the same house is animal abuse... a 100... Jeez the smell of that house...

100 cats?
how could they afford to feed them? It gets expensive wih one cat and one bird at my house. it would be like 1000s of $ per month.

Thats why it's important to get your animals spayed or neutered. :3
Unless you're planning on breeding them it's irresponsible to keep them "fully intact".

My cat boo, shortly after we got her went into heat. 0.0 omg she was the most annoying thing ever! I took her to the vet since she wouldn't stop yowling. Once she got fixed, it was much quieter around the house. :3
(we were waiting for her to be old enough)

We have 3 males and one female - all have been altered. The boys were all found outside and our girl we found through a cat rescue. Started with her and one of the males and just kept finding these poor kitties... anyhow, our neighbors now think that all stray cats belong to us. I've had a neighbor insist that a litter of kittens she found under one of her cars belonged to me. I offered to drive her to the vet so she could see their charts. Where I live, most people don't get their pets fixed and they run around loose. Then they act so shocked when their pet is pregnant. Morons.
I'm off to go grocery shopping. Woot!

 people need to take responsibility for their animals. I get that its a semi-expensive procedure. I've spent... $300 or so on getting my animals fixed. But that's less then I would spend on food and trying to find kittens/puppies food.
And that money doesn't involve the shots/flea meds to keep them healthy either. >.<

Where we live, the local animal control/dog catcher has vouchers available for pet owners so they only have to pay $30 or so for the surgery. I mean, a carton of smokes costs more. I think it's more along the lines of it's not the norm for the culture here than the cost. It wouldn't be a big deal if my neighbors wouldn't act so nutty about other peoples' pets running loose when their pets also run loose. Make sense? Honestly, it's more comical to me than annoying. They flip out when stray dogs are in their yard when their own dog is in heat - then complain that their girls are acting all nutty... heh... hormones!

I refuse to have a dog or cat that i dont get "fixed"
One, its cruel not to because they can't satiate those urges. And two, its bad to let them because you are just helping with the too many animals to find homes for issue. D:
