well, either way, i think that event could've gone better had there been a better explanation. no matter what kind of "experiment" was put out there, it's just a pretty crappy 'joke' lol. like, "what did they expect?" kind. i knew that was my response when i first saw that lolol. it just seemed unfair that people that donated the yarn automatically assumed people that spent the yarns as greedy or whatever. the staff didn't seem greedy during the event was probably because they already knew what would've happened for the most part. may be not all of them, but they were part of the staff (regardless if they knew or not), so perhaps they felt they had to set "examples" to the users (or just follow with the rest of the staff's action type).

I agree with sho that you can't really blame all the users, but not everyone was spending event currency on friends and nice things like that. Most people just use it for themselves. And besides, it doesn't matter how we think; it matters how the staff think. *shrugs*

Well, giving them feedback in the feedback thread influences how they think, sho. Because if they don't hear our perspective, they won't take it into consideration when they next plan events, so I think it's a good thing to give the feedback. =3

i've seen quite a bit of negative responses in the past with how some staff receive negative feedback. i know what negative criticisms SHOULD do, and i agree with you. it should be a good thing to give feedback, whether negative or positive. but from what i've seen in the past, the responses from them haven't always been positively received. that's only me though. though if you do notice, the past few events have only received a few pages of feedbacks. considering of how many people participated in these events (probably a hundred at least), i'd say that i'm not the only one that feels this way, too lolol

lolol it's still quite limited though, non? i have live plus, too, and i tried RPing once with that friend of mine. it's just that our responses (not the e-mail ones) would most likely be quite long (like several paragraphs long XD), and the space from live plus didn't help lolol.
