We just had a power surge. Everything went out; the lights, the TV, the computer. Well, it all flickered.
Oh, and it's SNOWiNG outside! Gosh, I've never been to a place where the weather is as crazy as it is in my town. I hope to see it in the morning, maybe it'll stick. It's the most we've ever gotten; it's a blizzard out there!
I had to post this on the forums. Does anyone want to share snow or power-out stories?

Right now, its freezing rain here... D:
Well, my power outage story....
One time, the power went out for a VERY long time. So, my family was al in the living room, and we saw these lights. I was all like, 'OMG! Aliens!'
But it wasn't.
It was my neighbor.....
The power was out for a few hours, in my neiborhood, but it was out for a few days in others.

Last time we had a black out I ended up loosing all my marine fish. It was during a bad snow storm and the house just got too cold for them and everything in the tank died. It was sad and quite a mess to clean up.

The snow here stuck this morning. :)
It's really soft, too. Different from any snow we've had.
Me and my grandmother are making snow cream. :D
Oh, and I have a power-out story.
One time, at about 8pm my time, the power went out in the whole building. All the residents of our floor came to what we call the 'living room' and we had to sit there with candles and make boring jigsaw puzzles. It lasted for hours - probably until eleven o' clock. I guess I ended up falling asleep, cause when I woke up the power was back and I was laying on the couch in my apartment.

It's snowing here too.
All the snow is causing the power to flicker on and off.

Well its not snowing here and it will never snow unless the ice age comes around again... But we do have times when our power goes out because of big thunderstorms that cause problems to the power lines. Well the one I remember most was the time when the whole country had a power outage! It was pretty insane since there was a big problem with on of the power stations all the way in another state. That time I was in college and the college had a backup generator which meant that classes could still go on, which kind of sucked because we all wanted to go home early. And since I don't drive and live very far from campus, I had to take a bus to the nearest train station to go home. But when I got there, the station had been shut down O.o So I was stuck at the station and took a cab back and it was so expensive just to take the cab back >.<" So it took a whole day for the whole country to get electricity back. It was hot, dark and horrible...

A few years ago, I was playing a video game for two hours and I never saved because I didn't feel like it. The power went out for like a quick second and turned back on, I lost what I worked on in the game TTATT
The snow is melting where I live, kind of would like to have a snow storm though. I love the snow

I just got piled where I live... power flickered and a heap of snow! If anyone needs to lose weight... shoveling snow and trekking for two miles and back through snow does the trick!

Yea, I'm hearing New York and the general area is snowing like crazy? Up in Ontario, it's pretty bright and nice out. ^^ Just a lot of chills.

There was a power surge during my history class a few weeks ago. My teacher's Mac (lolmac) ended up crashing and we lost all her powerpoints and lesson plans.

Awww, crepes.
I remeber a few years back, before my family moved, all the power went out, just a few weeks(or months) before school ended I think.
Anywho, we were left without power for hours AND we had homework.
My older sister and I were gathered around candle light trying to finish it!
> w <
And atleast the sun was still up, when the power went out, so were able to find candles/some sort of light source.

I saw something on TV that made me angry (which happens frequently). There was this commercial with that cartoon pink-haired girl from the E-surance thing; it said that on March 23, the whole WORLD is shutting off power for a whole hour.
Maybe it's a good thing for our planet, but WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?!
I hope it's on a school day, though. I'm too lazy to do the math right now.

Yup.
March 23rd is a Monday!
That should make for a fun monday.
But the thing about that is, it usually happens in the evening.
