Focus on how the dancer is turning.

Is it clockwise or counter clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice verse.

Most of us would see the dancer turning counter clockwise.

You can try to focus and change the direction.

See if you can do that.

For me, it started clockwise and then I focused and changed it counter clockwise and back again.

I was trying to figure out which it was, read the if clockwise thing, then it flipped, then I focused and it did it again, it's freaky!

I cannot see her turning in any direction but clockwise, no matter how hard I try to focus and change it.

Well, I'm also left handed, so...I suppose I'm actually in my right mind! *shot for pun*

well, the right half of the brain does control the left, I am also left handed but I tend to be whole brained.

For as long as I watched both times, she stays turning clockwise for me. So, what does using more of the right side of my brain mean?

-goes and dies-

i stared at it for about 30 seconds before it started going widdershins. @w@

edit: now i went back and stared at it and it turned clockwise again.

Every time I open the thread, she spins a different way.

I started on clockwise, then widdershins (which, by the way, is the best word ever), then back to clockwise, and now she's all widdershins again.

Does this mean I'm equal parts leftie and rightie? :D

Wow, I had the hardest time seeing her turn counterclockwise... Then got it... then lost it again.

But I've known I'm right-brained. Nice test thingy!

LOL! Wow, you do get a shot for the puns. XD

I really enjoy this test because you can get freaked out by it every time.

I didn't really have a problem seeing the dancer turning in either direction.

I've taken other tests to see which side of the brain you use more and most of them say I use both sides about the same amount.
Though I do tend to use the right side more then the left.

yeah. @ A@;;;;

takes my brain about 20-30 seconds to register the widdershins (yes, win word!) spin each time, it seems.

It started clockwise for me, then reversed, then returned to clockwise. That's a very interesting test.

Its weird, I look at it and it turns clockwise, but when I read again then dance spins counter. I use to be able to change it voluntarily but it seems I've loss that precision I once had...

Oh well :D I WILL RETRY TO GAIN THAT ABILITY!!!!

Ahahaha at first, when I opened the thread, she was spinning clockwise.. And clockwise.. And clockwise.. I was becoming so frustrated with it that I started to not believe that it was possible for her to spin counterclockwise.
Then I looked at another point on the screen and looked at the dancer with my peripheral vision, and she turned around. I stared for a moment as she spun the opposite direction, unable to fix it.
Eventually I got her to spin the other way by staring at her foot. Then I used the off-image trick again, and now I've got her switching directions all willy-nilly!
Woot, that was fun.

I cannot see it turning counter clockwise. It may have for a second, and then I looked at the legs, and it went back to clockwise and now it wont go back.

If you use your right side more, what does that mean?
If you use your left side more, what does it mean?

I see her going clockwise. I can't get her to turn around at all D:
Is it just me or does anyone else find the spinning girl kinda creepy ?

I start clock wise on this one.

It's hard to focus so it turns the other way...

Well, I saw it as counter-clockwise, then clockwise, then counter-clockwise and never again did it turn clockwise... it means I'm using my left brain more... o.O

I can only see her turning clockwise, no matter how hard I try to see her going the other way. xD It's ridiculously frustrating.

She's obviously dancing clockwise~!
I don't think thats a good way to tell what part of your brain you use more...
Of course, my old psychologist said I'm a right-brain person... When I was a babe I was left handed but my tutor would slap my hand so now I'm ambidextros. (spelled wrong. lol)

@Tut: Left handed people are more right-brained, Right handed people are more left-brained...The nervous system is kinda switched when it connects to the brain.

She keeps turning clockwise for me and I can't make her turn the other way. =/

Other left brain/right brain tests I've done say I'm mostly right brained but my left brain 'mark' was so close that I'm really more of a balance. High school gets us to do some odd tests to help us with career decisions... or was this one for fun. Hm, can't remember.

Hm... for me, I can make her go the other way if I just focus on her legs. Looking at her torso makes her go clockwise. I noticed this when she was spinning the other direction while I had the screen pulled down to read the text.
