I love walking around at night after hot days, when the air is still slightly warm and there's a bit of a breeze. ^^ It's finally starting to warm up enough here to get to that point.

*.* They're positively adorable! >.< I just wish that I had gold to spare for donations, but I promised a friend the next free gold I had since I lured her here in the first place. -sigh- and I don't have room in my siggy, but they're so adorable I'd find a way just as soon as I found enough gold.
Anyhow, wonderful job with the ponies. They're absolutely wonderful and a lovely gift to donors, I'd say~
Edit: Makes me wish I had skills like that. I'm not even good enough for people to want my art if it was totally completely and utterly free of charge.

I'm used to it, my immune system has been crap for years... I very recently started taking a couple different vitamin supplements, so hopefully that'll help in the long run.

My boyfriend insists I keep them with all my medicines, in the closet by the bathroom - but I CANNOT remember them when they're there. I'm gonna find someplace for them in the kitchen...
I'm starting to get really pissed off by him lately, actually. He's just been very controlling about a few things, like that.

When I was at my grandparents house I used to put all the meds/things I needed to remember to take either next to the stove or next to the sink because then you're forced to bump into them at least once a day, ya know? That made it kind of easier to remember. You still forget sometimes, but at least having to see them a lot helps.
And yeah... My boyfriend went through a stage like that not too long ago. I eventually got fed up with it and just told him to stop and he did. Maybe you can talk to him about it? Sometimes people don't realize they're even doing it.

I think he's acting out because he lost his job a few months back. I'm a full-time student, but my parents send me a monthly stipend to pay for personal expenses, and I've been stretching it to buy enough food and essentials for both of us.
The thing is this: he's been looking for a job VERY halfheartedly - I think he applied two places in total - but he's started showing very controlling behavior when it comes to what I buy and where I put it when I get home. I can't tell if it's just because he feels bad about not contributing, or if it's to boost his own ego (i.e. convince himself that I would waste money or organize poorly without him).

Ahhh. That makes sense. It's probably a little of both, truthfully. My mothers ex-husband used to act similarly after he had lost his job. I don't know, but some men are just a little uneasy about the woman being the only source of income and so they do things to assert their "manliness" and such. It can get to be a problem if not fixed and it'd be a shame to have relationship problems because of something like that. Either way you should still probably mention it to him so he at least knows that it's bothering you, but try to do it in a way that wont create too much of an argument. You might also suggest he put in a few more applications. If he was laid off he might be hesitant because of that. I know my boyfriend was weary to even apply again after he got turned down the first couple of times.

Yeah, I've been doing local searches on a couple different job sites and coming up with suggestions for him. I've also been looking for part-time work myself, which I think might motivate him to look a little harder.
I think I am gonna talk to him about it... on the one hand, it's ridiculous for him to dictate what I spend my money on or what I do with it, but on the other, I don't want him to feel completely left out of the loop.
My biggest issue with the money situation is that he's been using his savings to go out to bars at least once a week. I don't mind buying for both of us, but I don't think he should be tapping into his savings at all if I'm willing to do that.

Yeah. I agree. That's awful frivolous. I mean, I understand that he still wants to have fun and stuff, but you really shouldn't tap into your savings for things of that nature regardless. Especially when he has a girlfriend as nice as you willing to keep him afloat financially with at least the essentials. I mean, I get that he doesn't want to be completely dependent upon you either, but dipping into savings is bad. He may actually need that later.
Hopefully you two will be able to come up with a way to work it out that it works for both of you though. I'm sure you can get still keep him in the loop without allowing him to control what's actually done with your money.
I do need to shove off though. It was nice talking to you, Doomy and I do hope you get that all sorted out with him!
