The world was rather still these years, blissfully unaware of the battles on the celestial and demonic plans on the other side of reality. The silly, innocent humans knew nothing of the lives lost and broken in the chaos that they were so far form ever understanding and knowing. No, humans were sheep, tools, bodies to harbor the human souls that would either ascend or descend and become angles or demons, wherever seen fit.
Alan, on the other hand, had left the Demon realm, creating for herself a body of pure mana and forming it to her likeness as seen in the demon world. Though she was rather human herself anyway so people rarely noticed. If anything they mistook her pointed ears and believed her to be an elf, how else could she have lived among the humans and not aged a day since almost twenty five years ago?
None bothered her out in the forest, not far from a small town, nothing impressive, taverns, small manors, houses and markets. As for Alan's home, it was mostly avoided, and any visitors she received were either scared away for good, or welcomed, should their intentions be peaceful. Robbers and bandits never really stood a chance when facing the Demoness..
It was at this moment in time that Alan was sat out in the woods, planted down firmly on a fallen tree and staring calmly down a forest path at a nearby small lake. Occasionally she would swim there, especially when the weather was warm. She'd never been able to take delight in such small pleasures before so this was quite exceptional to her.
She adjusted her gloves calmly, placing her palms on the tree she was sitting on once again before looking about, ears open for any unnatural sounds. She hated the peace being disturbed, but couldn't really see how anything could disturb it right now. All seemed quiet.

Different from some, not everyone was having a peaceful and quiet day. Specially not up in the celestial plane. There was a big commotion among the other angels right now.
One of the younger ones had committed an act of violence, and for that was seen as corrupted.
But it wasn't his fault. That annoying brat of an arch angel had gotten on his nerves so badly, and on top of it, she was looking down on him as she spoke. He hadn't been there long enough to accept some one looking down on him as if he was worth less then others. So she had it coming to her as he had finally had enough and just hit her in the face with his fist. But obviously, those with lower ranking had no rights at all here. They were just to sit and do as they were told to, and accept those with a higher ranking to look down on them and treat them like slaves. What kind of world was this? But on other hand. The demons probably had it worse. They were worse, at least from what he had heard. Seemed that once you died. You either went to one bad place or another.
But after some running, and trying to keep the others at some distance from him, he was finally cornered, with nowhere else to run, and on top of that, he was surrounded.
What on earth was he going to do now? He couldn't go up against a bunch of arch angels all by himself and unarmed. He was good at material arts, but these guys were something completely different. And he had been running for a while now too, so he was rather out of breath. Seemed he was screwed. And the punishment for a lower ranked angel to hit an arch angel was pretty much death.
No questions asked. One of the arch angels just leaped at him, but he was able to dodge the blade swung at him the first time, but as a second one came at him right after, he was in a position where he just couldn't escape. So he was hit with a nasty blow. Sitting in a bit of a crouched down position, he was hit trough the shoulder, over the chest and even into the leg. That was a more then enough of a lethal hit. But what happened next was a bit of a mystery.
All of a suddenly, he just disappeared trough the ground, as if falling. And falling he was, from the celestial planes down to earth. And while he was falling, blood were pretty much leaking out of him and falling with him, and his wings looked as if they were shattering in the fall. And falling head first, it probably looked like quite a pretty scene, but it was a bit of a mess closer up. After about half way down, he had lost consciousness, so as he was finally hitting the mortal plane, landing in the middle of a lake, he at least was lucky not to have to be awake when he did.
((Hahaha. That sucked, but oh well. First posts are always the worst XP))

The golden-haired female looked up lazily, legs crossed, and the left tapping in the air slowly but in a steady, rhythmic fashion. It was just as she was prepared to think on how nice the day was that she watched something move from overhead, quickly coming down, down and down until with an almighty crash it hit the lake.
For a moment Alan was stunned, but she quickly jumped to her feet, running in the direction of whatever had occurred, however at waters edge she came to a sudden halt, looking at the trail of feathers that were floating down tot he ground slowly. Why-oh-why did it have to be an Angel? At least she could assume as much since no birds that big were native to this area or ever passed it.
She swiftly unclipped the harness supporting her bust, next pulling away her belt and almost practically tearing her jacket off until she was naught but pants, boots, gloves and her underlying vest. Without a thought she leaped towards the lake, covering some distance until she was practically landing in the same location, diving in.
It didn't take her demon eyes long to spot the sinking body and, without further hesitation, she dove further into the water until she was side-by-side with the fallen Celestian. For a moment she got to gaze at him. He wasn't bad looking for an angel, though she then wrapped an arm around his body, swimming swiftly to the surface again.
When they finally broke surface, she held his head up above the water, her other arm pointing down into the depths. It took a moments concentration. Several glowing circles marked with runes and cryptic words appearing below her before a sudden rush occurred. The water around them parted, Alan somehow standing in the hollow space that had formed and holding up the Angel's body. It was then that she pushed her other hand down further, the water suddenly turning to ice and forming a pod-like transport that would raise them above the water before an entire pathway formed toward the shore.
Alan stepped off the ice-boat she had created, walking along the icy pathway and carrying the body tot he waters edge where she would lay him down and begin to examine him, specifically for injuries. Demons and Angels could typically survive a fall like that. But what 'caused' the fall was what concerned her. The young man looked to be in rough shape indeed, and those wounds were no joke, at least since they weren't healing already.

He was pretty much completely out ever till his head was brought above water, and the water below going icy cold all of a sudden. That kind of shocked him out of unconsciousness. Though, the suddenly cold water was also making the injury's hurt really, really bad. But that soon enough went away since the cold water was numbing the pain. But then he just started coughing up water, gasping a bit for breath.
He could feel that some one was helping him. Talk about being in luck. He had really fallen into a good place as he was being saved almost the same moment he had come falling down.
He couldn't really open his eyes tough, and he was feeling, sick, actually. His mind was spinning and he wasn't quite sure what was going on. But just a little while later, he wasn't in the water anymore, but it still felt cold, till he was finally put down on the ground. Even if the water had washed away the blood before, now that he was out of the water, he was bleeding badly. He had some rather deep and nasty injury's after what had happened. And there was most likely some demonic essence infecting him too. After all, it was the sword of an arch angel that had cut him. they weren't that picky with cleaning out their weapons. They just wanted them to look clean, even if they were really nasty in reality. And it caused quite a great deal more pain then it should be.
So when he was on he ground, he was, half conscious, but at least awake enough to feel the pain, groaning a bit as he was just trying to grasp onto something, and what he could reach was pretty much just the ground, but that would do. And he was having a bit of a problem breathing properly as well.

Alan watched as blood flowed from the left-hand side ofthe males body, but there was something else. A whispering, a dark feeling she remembered all too well. As if the day hadn't already being ruined, if she didn't save this poor soul he would be corrupt... He would go man, turn into a half demon, half angel, an accursed being whose two sides and essences would drive him absolutely insane. This kind of abomination could only exist normally through natural birth. Being infected would leave nothing more than a monster, a reckless, destructive beast.
She reached over to the clothes she had discarded, throwing them over her shoulder then lifting the Angel with a surprisingly great deal of ease. She had to be quick to make sure the corruption had no chance to settle itself. Her form rushed in a smooth, quick step through the forestry to her home, a trail of blood leading itself formt he shore all the way to her doorstep and even after she kicked open the door, which was luckily not even locked so the damage was minimal, even more blood trailed itself way to what appeared to be a dining room table in the middle of a stone-floor kitchen.
She cleared the surface of the table of items by smoothly lifting her leg and kicking it all aside, leaving it to clatter and crash on the floor before she deposited on the table itself. Without a moments time wasted she pulled off the Angel's shirt, suddenly leaning in close to him and whispering into his ear,
"Forgive me... This will not be pleasant..." She stated, shifting herself down and whispering, toward the body, an ancient tongue, a summoning. As she did so the essence of the demons that were infecting the Angel tore through his nervous system and coursed through his blood stream, focusing itself on a point in his right shoulder, it would, no doubt, be excruciating.
Once she had coaxed the demonic essence into place she opened her jaw, biting into the flesh sharply and sucking on the wound she inflicted, drawing out the demonic essences so that they slipped behind her lips and were contained before she spat the vial substance onto the floor. The moment the essences left his body would feel far less painful at least, and his natural ability as an Angel (as with Demons also) to regenerate would begin to return.
However healing would not be so simple. there was still work to be done and Alan made her way about doing it. Stitches were necessary, and salves for treating wounds. Even though she rarely needed them, she always had them on handy for humans. She also brought a thick, soft cloth with warm water, mixing in healing ointments before she began to pad at the injuries he had sustained, cleaning away blood until the healing salves and ointments began to work their magic with the Angel's natural healing ability in tow. Once the wounds had healed to a certain point she began carefully stitching the skin close together. It was over an hours worth of work, carefully, gently making sure it was perfect.
After this she knew she would have to clean up the blood trail leading through her house, not to mention clean the table too. What an awful mess this all was. But at the same time, Alan felt invigorated, re-energized. She hadn't had this much to do at once for a long time, so it was refreshing and in some ways she enjoyed every minute that passed by. All that was really left to do once she was finished stitching him up was close up his shirt and wait for him to awaken.

As he was picked up again, he groaned a bit. What else could he do? That was his only way right now to tell that he was in pain. If he could, he would have told, whoever it was to stop moving him around so darn much. It hurt bad as it was. But so far, he was happily unknowing that it would be even worse soon.
From what he could feel and hear, he was clearly being taken inside of somewhere, and put down on, a table? What was this person going to do? That was something he was to find out soon. Maybe a bit too soon, as he felt how something was tearing trough his system. He had experienced pain before, but never this great. The pain was so bad that he couldn't even breath, and even less scream. And if you couldn't even scream, then it was without a doubt bad. And it just seemed to get worse and worse. Why couldn't the person just kill him instead? This was pure torture.
And when he felt something bite into his shoulder, he finally opened his eyes. But not in a normal way- They just went wide out of the increasing shock and pain. And even if he wasn't actually crying, there was a few tears that slipped out anyhow. But those were purely because of the pain. But lucky for him, just moments later, it was too much and he slipped into unconsciousness again. Considering what was going on, that was probably for the best. Would save him allot of suffering that way. Specially as the person went on from sucking the demon essence out of him to stitching him up.
Would probably take a while before he would wake up again. This was more then anyone should have to handle in one stinking day.

Alan spent the next hour or so cleaning up the blood from her floor, having first cast a flame on the demon essence and sent it back where it came from, oblivion. Luckily the stone floor wasn't liable to get caught on fire so it was safe to do so. Once she'd cleaned out the blood from her home and the patio at the front she closed the door, locking it.
The Demoness returned to checking on the young man, opening the shirt to stare at the wound quickly. It would heal well enough, but thanks to the kind of blade that had cut him, those scars would probably remain as a reminder. The leg wound would also heal well enough. Once she was happy that he would be okay she lifted him more gently than before, softly carrying him from the ground floor up the stairs and tot he main bedroom, placing him down and stripping him of his clothes, they would need washing after that little escapade.
Along with his clothes, her own needed drying, but she decided she may as well wash them and she could put on something more classic later. However first things always came first, she made sure to cover the Fallen One with the blanket, her favored own scent of rose oil perfume having long soaked into the sheets, it would probably be a pleasant aura to awaken to.
Suddenly it were as if she had so many duties to tend to! Washing clothes, preparing food, checking up on an injured patient every once in a while. The amount of excitement grew in Alan by leaps and bounds as she went on to do each little thing where time granted her, and she did it all with vigor unseen by human eyes. The nearby humans never did find out the true nature of Alan's existence anyway, so it mattered little to her.
Once she'd finally done the washing she left it to hang on the clear side of the kitchen, it would start getting dark by now. So, to staple the soon-to-come hunger, she was preparing a meal. Perhaps her new guest would awaken soon, he was, after all, a divine being, though healing wasn't exclusive to angels, it still meant he would, perchance, heal quicker than a human. And after his ordeal, he would be hungry, certainly, who wouldn't be? She knew she'd have been hungry if she'd suffered the same fate herself.
Once things were on the boil, or otherwise needed time to cook, Alan left her cooking duties and returned to her room where she checked over the slumbering Angel again before moving to her cupboard, drawing out fresh clothes for herself to change into. So long as he was asleep; she could quickly slip out of her current ones and into the new ones without being seen, surely.

He would be out for a while. No doubt there. But it was for the best. And he really could use the rest. But at least the worst was over for his part. Almost at last. It was still the part of being saved by a demon. But that he wouldn't find out quite yet. He hadn't been enough awake the little time he had been conscious to realize what she was. Not that it would matter considering she saved him from both death and corruption. If she hadn't been there, he would either have died, or if not, he would have become an abomination, and probably caused allot more trouble.
But he was out for a while. But as he was starting to come to, his vision was rather blurry, and his entire left side was still pounding in pain. He gave a bit of a groan, trying to move, but his body was really not agreeing with him, so he decided to just stay still. Hurt less that way. But at least he could turn his head, somewhat, so he tried get a bit of a look around, to try figure out where he was. He couldn't see clearly, but the odd smell, and the smell of food, and the blurry looks of it, he was, in someones home? And on the mortal plane? This was at least not a celestial home. And it didn't look like a demon lair. It had to be human. At least in his opinion.
And as he was becoming more awake, and aware, he did notice that this indeed looked like the home of a human. Had he actually been saved by a human being? Though, that wasn't so bad. But there was something that was rather bad though. He did soon realize that he had no clothes on. The only thing that was covering him right now was a blanket. Now that, was a bit embarrassing. He kind of made sure to hold onto the blanket with his right arm, since he didn't want to feel more exposed then he already felt. Maybe it would be better to just keep resting for a bit? His vision was blurry, and he was feeling rather awkward, and he was in pain.
So closing his eyes again, he decided to go back to sleep. But before that could happen, some one came in. It seemed to be a young woman, and she... She actually started to get changed in the room without checking properly if he was awake or not?!
Being as he was, he at least was kind enough to close his eyes at this. This was a bit too much for him right now. But if she looked at him now, she could most likely notice that he did look rather troubled. Not only because he had no clothes, but she was standing right there getting changed.

Alan continued to changed her clothes. Stripping her body of the previous possessions, and quietly placing them across a nearby chair until she could then grab the replacement clothes and pull them on, though once she'd gotten her underwear and a white camisole on she paused. Elven seeming ears lowering slightly as a curious glance was made over her shoulder. Had she just sensed something...? No certainly not, just a little paranoia..
She looked forward again, leaning forward to pull on some loose, black trousers up over her hips, frame eventually standing upright and stretching, this letting loose several pops and cracks along her body. Once she'd let that be done she stretched to the right more, though eventually let her form go more relaxed again.
The female turned herself toward the bed again, though was still adjusting her top patiently until she was satisfied with the way it held her bust, she didn't like the material sitting in certain ways or it felt uncomfortable. Comfort was a number one requirement in living a peaceful life, and, although it came in many different formats, she was very picky about her own comforts.
She stopped fidgeting and moved from the foot of the bed to the side in which she'd laid the young man down in, sitting on another chair with her arms folding quietly and head raising. She knew there was still a little time to go before food was ready to be eaten, so instead of mulling around downstairs she would instead wait to see if her new guest would awaken. Depending on how well the Angel could concentrate, at least if he knew how, he could easily tell that this 'elf-like' creature was no elf at all, but a pure manifestation of mana-power brought to life, something only Demons or Angels were capable of, and she was certainly not giving off a holy aura..

He waited for a little while before he opened his eyes again, just to notice that she was still changing. For the love of-- How long could one take to get changed?! He just gave a silent sigh and closed his eyes again, since it was for the best not to let her notice that he was awake quite yet.
But while waiting for her to be done, he was thinking about what had happened before. He had felt some one, biting, him before. Was that her? And then, why on earth would she bite him? Wasn't he injured badly enough as it was? Or was she some kind of freak that enjoyed that kind of stuff? He really hoped not. Just thinking about that gave him chills down the spine. That kind of person was among the last type he wanted to be rescued by.
But the longer he laid there waiting, he more of her energy he could sense. Usually took a while before one could sense the energy of another. But the more of it he sensed, the more at unease he became. There was a demon aura coming from her. That meant that she either was possessed, or was a demon. And the stronger it was, he could soon confirm that she actually was a demon. And a powerful one at that. That was a bit too much for him. He actually wanted to leave now. He couldn't believe that he had actually been rescued by a demon out of all things. What on earth could a demon want with a fallen angel?
He finally decided that, no matter she was still changing or not, it was time to get up. He was not going to even pretend to sleep till he knew what on earth she wanted with him. But at least, as he was showing he was awake, she was done changing, and was sitting by the end of the bed. But the way he showed that he was awake was, maybe a bit too painful. He sat up, a bit too fast, and that just caused him a great deal of pain, since his nasty wound hadn't healed yet. So he bent over a bit, carefully grasping with his right arm over his left side of the chest, but trying to avoid the cut.
"Ow... ow ow..."
She could probably notice that he must have sensed what she was by now to react in such a way all of a sudden.

Alan watched him get up suddenly, frowning at his reaction, seemed his sense had returned if he was so desperate as to sit up so suddenly. She wasn't willing to let her hard work go to waste though so she hopped up onto the bed, spreading her legs so her knees were either side of his hips and sat in his lap, her hand pressed firmly on his chest, she would only use extra strength to push him down if he didn't comply right away, but all the same she would make sure he was lying down again before commenting bluntly;
"You'll pull out your stitches doing that. Be still and rest."
She would wait until he settling down before slipping off his lap and sitting on the bedside, legs crossed and hands at her sides while looking over at him quietly. He was probably distressing himself over the fact that he was in the presence of a demon,
"Relax. If I wanted to kill you I would have done so already, as for the bite to the shoulder, I was drawing out Demon essence from your body before you went insane and I would have had to kill you if I hadn't done that." She nonchalantly shrugged to herself with her palms raised, but placed her hands down on the bed,
"I'm preparing enough food for if you're hungry.. Your choice, don't see an Angel inclining themselves to take an invitation to dinner from a demon but weirder things have happened."
She stood up then, turning about and looking down on him,
"Just call me Alan*, people often drop in on me... But perhaps not quite as literally as you did. Consider yourself lucky I don't feel for killing Angels anymore." She stated, giving him something of an explanation as to why he wasn't currently a corpse, but there were more factors involved in it than she 'just didn't' anymore. She wondered though, what was his name? She had, after all, given the courtesy of her own, so perhaps he would reward her with the same.
[*Even though it's Alan. she pronounces it Ah-lan, because of her original name Yalannery (Yah-lahn-eh-ree)]

Jale looked up a bit when the demon spoke to him, but he was speechless in surprise when she hopped up on the bed and went and sat on his lap. Or, not fully speechless, but she was sitting on the cut on his leg. But at least the power of the blade that had cut him had lost strength when it had come down to there, so it was just a light cut. It had just barely gone trough the skin. But that didn't mean it didn't sting. So he was giving a somewhat painful expression when she was sitting on him. And it did hurt to move at all, so when she was pushing him back down, even if she was being gentle with him, it still hurt. But it was a bit of a relief to be back down.
For a demon, she sure was being careful with him. That was a huge surprise. He didn't know demons even could be gentle at all. But this one seemed really different. He hadn't really meet many demons yet. And those he had meet was in battle, so those had been killed rather quickly. So this was quite an interesting experience. But as long as she didn't do anything bad, he could probably live with it.
He gave a sigh when she finally got off of him and was sitting on the side of the bed instead. And it was a bit of a relief to hear the reason why she had bitten him before. He had almost thought she might be one of those blood suckers. Then there would have been a reason for her not to kill him. But it was good to know she wasn't. And when she mentioned food, he actually realized that he was rather hungry. So even if he didn't really want to speak, he would probably have to speak to her sooner or later.
So when she stood up and introduced herself to him, and told him about that she didn't feel like killing angels anymore. He had pretty much gotten the idea there before, so she didn't actually have to tell him that. But oh well.
"Thanks for helping me. I'm Jale, and I would appreciate something to eat. Been a long day."

"Jale..." Alan repeated the name to herself and smiling just a little, "Welcome to my home." It was mostly a rehearsed sentence but she did welcome people freely, what better way to hide your true disposition as a demon than to act like something far more welcoming? Though at the same time she meant it. It got lonely here all the time, so company usually was welcome,
"It has been a long day indeed, but you're safe now."
The demoness left the room, walking barefoot down to the ground floor and returning to her kitchen duties, now beginning to wash items that were no longer necessary but had been used in preparation of the food. The smell of food was easily discernible throughout the home now, though the most prepared right now was the creamy, well-prepared broth that was tomato soup, a simple idea for a simple life.
Though along with the soup came freshly cooked bread, still soft with warmth but almost perfect in texture and taste. Bread, after all, was one of the greatest makings of men, she had often longed for it when hungry, especially when she could smell it being cooked.
Alan was careful though, for even now as she worked with the heat her brow was littered with sweat-drops, being partly an ice demon was quite detrimental to ones ability to cook with heat, but she made every best effort possible to succeed, even in the face of heat and flames, both surprisingly powerful weaknesses for her.
Once she had a tray ready for Jale she piled on the soup and sliced a half of the bread into segments, she would return for her own shortly, but for now her guest was more important. She smoothly stepped into the room, she knew that after all this time unconscious and after all this excitement he would be hungry, so she would not be surprised to see if he was already up, but if he was having difficulty then she would place the tray down on the side to gently help him up. Although she was strong she still displayed something of a delicate touch, trying to assure his comfort.
Once he was in an upright position against the headboard with a pillow to his back to keep him supported, she would place the tray in his lap carefully. Unfortunately it was hard to avoid pressing it on his leg injury, but when some-one was hungry they could overcome a bit of pain and discomfort for food,
"There is more on the way, but this should get you started off." She mentioned, making sure all was steady before backing away and preparing to leave, "Call me if you're having trouble, I'll be just downstairs working on the rest."

He was actually starting to wonder what on earth was wrong with this demon. The more she talked, and the more friendly she was, he was actually wondering if she might have gotten a serious head injury once that had messed up her head completely once. He had never expected to ever meet such a friendly and kind demon. But at least he was in luck to have run into her. When she left the room, he just laid his head down and rested his eyes and mind for a bit. Would be nice to get something to eat. Though, neither demons or angels really needed to eat, but most still got hungry, so it wasn't fun to go around not eating when you felt as if you were starving. And it would help his body recover quite a bit.
When she came back with a tray of really good smelling food, he opened his eyes again and allowed her to help, since he could impossible sit up on his own in this condition. But even if she was being careful, it of course hurt. He winched a bit, but it was soon over. Till she put the tray on his leg. But oh well. Where else would she put it if not on his lap? At least he could eat on his own. He still could use his right arm, so he would be fine. And as she obviously was about to leave the room again, he looked over at her. He was still curious about a few things. And he was not one to hold back questions.
"Would you mind telling me why you 'don't feel like killing angels anymore'? And, even if you don't kill angels, why did you help me? I bet that most demons would either have killed me or left me for dead or let me just turn insane, no matter their way of thinking. So why are you doing all of this? I doubt it's all just for the sake of some company."
He had such a hard time to believe that she would actually save him from the brink of death, or insanity, whatever would have come first, just for the sake of having company. He wasn't much of a company after all. He usually got on peoples nerves rather then anything.

Alan heard the questions, but stood at the doorway rather quietly, her hand on the frame as she stared in his direction. Answering the main question of why she was the way she was, that would be difficult and she felt partially disinclined to tell, mostly because in some ways it felt a little shameful for a demon so capable as her to be so docile now.
When he doubted her desire for company she lowered her eyes and looked away, truthfully she quite liked the company she was given by this new entry into her home, even if she barely knew him. But she decided not to answer the first two questions, instead looking over to him and smiling just a little,
"You were injured.. So I helped you, had I not helped you, you would have died.." She said this with a small level of concern in her voice but then stuttered and continued, "Er.. Well... Also if you had become corrupt; you would have sought the first settlement of prey you could find, which would be a nearby small town of innocent people." She turned her form, folding her arms so she could lean her shoulder against the frame while gazing at him nonchalantly, "You would have torn much of it to pieces before being ultimately killed anyway. I could not allow that.. I mean.. I get resources and food from there for my home, after all." Alan reasoned it and nodded to herself, good save on her part or so she believed, but frankly for all she knew she was an open book. Humans and other kinds of mortals were easy to handle, they could not recognize her power to be that of a demons, if they even knew how to sense it, but an angel was quite different. It was difficult to hide the fact that you were a demon to fellow demons or angels and the same vice-versa.
She wouldn't admit that she was enjoying the company, or he would question it even more, so finally turned away, not wanting to risk answering any more revealing questions, she was so tempted but explaining it would be hard, at least for her,
"Enjoy that anyway.. I'll be back up in a moment." She stated, hurriedly escaping Jale and making her way downstairs where she stopped a moment at a corner, hand on the wall as she breathed out a quiet sigh, partly of relief. Hopefully he wasn't the kind to press on a question that some-one didn't want to answer right away.
She grabbed her bowl of soup and placed the slices of bread that remained onto a side plate, though quickly checked the remaining food, that which would be the main course, taking in the aroma with a smile but then backing away from the heat. Alan made her way up the stairs once again, but did not fully enter the room with Jale, sitting at the doorway so she could keep an eye on him while quietly consuming the soup and enjoying the bread she'd made. The bread was the most important thing of the meals she made, she would always make bread when she could, though she shook the reasons why from her mind, staring over at Jale occasionally.

He looked at Alan when she was answering his question. He might have asked her something, but in reality, as long as he was alive and well and was recovering and being feed, he didn't actually give a damn about her reasons for it. All that really mattered was that she was helping him and wasn't being abusive towards an injured person. She was being so kind he was almost afraid. But anyhow. Since he had asked, he was at least listening to her answers. He was a bit curious after all. And she did have some really good reasons. When she finally was done giving her answer to his questions, he gave a nod.
"Well, thank you for the help. I really appreciate it. Suppose that being saved and nursed by a demon is a blessing compared to becoming corrupted. But you're being so kind it's kind of creepy, but I will probably get used to it."
He said, a bit of a smile on his face as he sipped some of the soup. It really did taste great. He did like tomato soup as it was, but this was great. He looked up a bit as Alan seemed to leave the room in a hurry. Oh well. Everyone have their odd moments. Maybe she was a bit uncomfortable answering the questions. But he'd better not tell her that he had asked them and then not really been interested to hear the answer. That might piss her off.
Instead, he continued to eat the tomato soup, and taking some bites of the bread. It really was good, both of them. And when Alan came back up and sat by the door, he was a bit curious about, why she was sitting there. Was she afraid he would run away or something if she didn't watch him?
"Why are you sitting there? You're afraid I might try run away?"
