I have tube socks on my main, but I'll give it a try c:

The brown will from the boots/sandals will cover up the tube socks, hence the ankles socks will be more prominent since you have black ankle socks on now.

Seiki- xD My mother does that all the time. Personally I do not like eating cherries because of the texture and something about having the natural cherry flavor straight turns my stomach. xD Love adding cherry juice to carbonated beverages though. xD

even if I had a huge inventory I'd probably end up using the same few items over and over again and it'd just be very boring after a while xD

And I dunno. Since I don't have a huge inventory at the moment, a huge inventory would have me experimenting so much. 8DD;; Especially since I always like to use entirely different (or as different as I can make it xDD) color combinations for new avatars as compared to my old ones.

Like, if I used blue and purple for one avatar, the next would have to be, like, yellow and green or something. 8DD;; That all could possibly keep me from using the same items over and over again, hopefully. xDD;;

... of course, this is just if ever I had a huge inventory. ^^;;
That won't be for a looonngg while though, so I'll just remain satisfied with what I have for now and work to make as many unique-from-each-other avatars as possible. 8DD;;

I usually use the same items too, which makes me feel like my avatars all look the same. D8 But the "make an outfit out of 3 random items" challenge that Creps and I are doing has been refreshing because it's pushed my out of my comfort zone. XD;

Your avatar is amazing! I tried making one on the MAC but I totally failed XD I guess it's because there are some items the MAC doesn't have yet... *searches for excuses* >__>;

EDIT: Okay, I made it! Our avatars look pretty similar, but I guess it's hard for them not to considering the items we based ours on xD; The only major difference between the two is that you used gold and I used pink. Some of the colors on mine are pretty off and it's not exactly the most balanced avatar ever but... it's better than what I was expecting to come up with at any rate xD;

I dunno.

I just plain like some items more than others. I gravitate towards them first when I'm like, "New avatar time! What do I want to wear? >_>"

Quite often my thought process seems to be:
> I need a new avatar.
> I want to wear this item.
> What else do I want to wear with it?
> I don't think I've tried this and that together...
> Oh, it looks like crap. That would be why.

And quite often - about half the time, generally - I end up removing the original item I started with because item three usually seals the "flavor" of the avatar or the color scheme of the avatar and other items would work better.

So having more items to choose from helps loads. >_>

I tend to just experiment by randomly piling on items and removing them until I'm satisfied. I usually pick an item I haven't worn much and try to incorporate it, but I usually end up removing the item before I'm done since it doesn't fit with what direction I moved in.

Lately when I design my avatars I have just been picking a color Scheme to fit a theme or set. Mainly Colors though. I want to try what anon's and creps is doing though. Last night was my attempt to use the blue aurora items.
