Hey, y'all! :D I'm considering making a purchase of the manga series (what there is of it so far--I've read that there are 3 out of 4 volumes out) Return to Labyrinth, based on the movie Labyrinth (wow, shocker, right?). Before I make this purchase, however, I'm curious as to how many of you have read or heard of the series? If you've read it, did you like it, and why (no spoilers, please, just bare skeleton if you could). If you've heard of it, would you read it?
I guess that, basically, this is a thread to satisfy your own discussion wants for the series, as well as to satiate my own curiosity about its readability. Thanks, guys!

It's pretty good. The art isn't the greatest but the storyline is fun, and it's neat to see the story continue. ( the cover is gorgeous though.) I bought the first one, and want to read the other ones.

That's kind of funny; I've bought the 2nd and 3rd volumes, but they didn't carry the first one. Thank goodness for the summaries they have in the front of the books--not to mention Wikipedia. :P I agree, the art is.... I don't know, I don't like it that much. Not enough detail, and Jareth doesn't even look like Jareth. His voice isn't the same in my head, if you know what I mean. He sounds too young in my head, and it's all wrong.... At least his personality is the same. But other than that, I guess, it's okay. The story's good and I am off to Wikipedia to see when the 4th and final volume is coming out.

I'm disinclined to read them because of the art, but I possibly will just buy them because I'm a fan of Kouyu Shurei's art (they did the cover art) which I absolutely love. But once you open the cover its just disappointing... Read Alichino the debut (and perhaps only) manga from Kouyu Shurei, Alichino is filled with top of the line art, each page is filled with excellent art with the same amount of detail as the cover art. Anyway for all I know the storyline is superb in Return to the Laybrinth and that would balance out the art's failings. ^_^
