To those who've seen it; Is it worth it?
I work at a cinema, and it hasn't really been that busy since it came out.
I'm interested in seeing it, but I don't know if I should wait until it hits the $1 show.

I want to hear some opinions too.
I didn't really like Borat, but the trailers for Bruno have amused me.
Quote:
I gave him like... a traditional African name.
... OJ.
xD;;
EDIT: So I heard that the only good scenes were the ones in the trailer and that a lot of people have been getting up halfway through the movie and leaving theaters. Even though the movie got a decent score on rottentomatoes, I think I'll wait until it comes out on dvd so that I can rent it.
My boyfriend wants to see Bruno, but I'm not sure if I do. If it was anything like Borat, I'm not interested at all. I didn't find Borat very funny and it was kind of stupid. I'm really tired of movies being stupid humour all the time, I don't get what's so great about it. Lately, movies that have come out kind of suck. =/
Editt;;
OKAY SO. My boyfriend is at the movies seeing it right now and he says that Elton John is in it. I think I just might have to go see this now. <3333333333

So yesterday, while exitgreeting "Bruno", all of the guests and one of my friends came out of the theatre saying the movie sucked.
And most of them left while the credits were going (there's stuff doing the credits).
Yeah, Elton John is in the movie, as well as Slash and some rapper.
But I wouldn't see the movie just to see them.
Do not ever, ever see Bruno unless you have an open mind about everything, literally everything! When I went to go see it for my birthday, about 10 of my friends walked out in the first 15 minutes, and people kept walking out of the theater during the movie. Bruno goes beyond many of the red lines drawn by polite society.... beyond and most would call too far. xD I personally loved it and see it as a mockumentary of America's culture.

I warned you. ( .///3//.)
Well, in Sacha Baron Cohen's defense, he is Bri'ish. And British comedy and American comedy are completely different, with the British not having an FCC on their asses for everything they do. Hell, just take Monty Python as an example. "The Holy Grail", "The Life of Brian", basically everything Monty Python has done is hated and criticized by "Politically Correct" people.
Ehh. Last night from exitgreeting Bruno again, one guy said that he'll never get those 2 hours of his life back.
I'm not seeing this movie. Snoop Dogg, Bono, Slash, and Elton John are at the very end, but it's not worth it.
Barbara Walters thought it was horrific, and told everyone not to take their children.
Yet she stayed and watched the entire movie.
One of the dumb chicks from the View also said that they may have censored it a bit for European movie theatres. Which got a WTH USTUPIDWOMAN from me, considering Europe doesn't censor anything, not like American movies.
Hmmm, just for lawls and to waste two hours of my life I'd probably go and see it. Eh, I have a pretty open mind and satire on topics that matter and make sense. Depends on how he does it though so...*ponders*
I seen Bruno in theaters. As stated before, you either have to have a very open mind, or just plain have no morals whatsoever.
I chuckled a few times at some scenes, but overall I'd say it's a waste of money to watch.
There's a lot of... erm... uh... how to say this.. too much penis. x.x;; if you're a homosexual, you may get aroused by this movie..
It just wasn't my cup of tea. I found it disgusting. I'm almost ashamed to say I've watched it all the way through. I think a lot of people will walk away from it having mixed feelings about it.. Which doesn't take for a good movie.
To be honest, I think it's a slap in the face at Borat. Borat was better in my opinion.. Just for the fact that it focused more on the dry humor aspect as apposed to the outward shock-factor that comes with stepping over boundaries like racism, child abuse, and the way media blows everything out of proportion.
I really wouldn't recommend this movie.. :/
When I first went to see it, I was with my mom. Big mistake right there. She's the one who offered to take me to see it, because she was in an impulsive mood. I warned her, but no, I wanted to see it so she said that she would go with me.
The guy at the ticket booth said to us, "That movie made me feel so homosexual. Like, I knew it was gonna be gay, but really, it made me feel so homo." Good to know, right? I thought he was randomly coming out to us in an odd sort of way, or maybe he just told that to everyone as a sort of warning.
The movie was funny, with lots of good parts and a few stale bits, but it made ME feel gay, like a gay men, even though I'm a girl.
I liked the relationship with Lutz and Bruno, it was cute. And the ending, God, did that ever get me. I ended up seeing the movie twice (forced to see it the second time, pretty much), and I still loved that part the best. The names that Bruno had for celebrities was funny, too.
One more thing: waaaaaaaay too much penis. Really. But I did lol when he said "That's actually mine."
I found that Bruno sucked I only watched maybe half of it and ened up going to bed. There wasnt anything funny about it and it really made no sence. I was dissapointed in it in Borat there were at least some humor in it.
