mmkay, so basically, i'll get to the point. i doubt anyone's actually reading this but if so, i give you the best cookies that the world has to offer. cheesy a bit? mucho. but that's just me, kara. i'm now FIFTEEN years and and hoping to get a permit in the near future if my parents' desire it so. [which at the same time, i rather am fearful of getting behind the wheel.] i'm a complete book crazed, history and literature nerd. i'm a fanatic of english history, even though i've been raised in the united states as long as i've been alive; and absolutely idolize elizabeth the first and henry viii. i don't watch the tudors, the television show, because my mother believes it is highly fictionalized and too racy for my eyes. psh. OH AND DID I MENTION IM OBSESSED WITH GREEK MYTHOLOGY? i want a boyfriend that would be a mixture between apollo and ares, bby. (i found him recently btw) <3
outside of all that jibberish, i enjoy listening to a variety of music. when it comes to my favorite genres, artists, anything of the such? it's so hard to discriminate and narrow it down. at one time i had over ten thousand songs on my i-tunes, plus more not counting cds that i hadn't loaded on there; but then my silly computer crashed and i had to start again from scratch x-x. but i've now revived about thirty five hundred of those songs, so i'm starting to get happy again. basically, my favorite artists include the bands muse, cobra starship, green day, the killers, blink 182, owl city, brandtson, panic at the disco, the offspring, the hives, midtown, she wants revenge, and the beatles. yes, rather a diverse group, but take a look at my i-pod and you'd be even more driven insane.
favorite movies? woah, baby. at the moment it's definitely across the universe and the movie elizabeth at the top of my list. i'm a huge renthead, and i'm in love with the movie adaptation of jonathan larson's broadway musical just as much as the original. i love the musical soundtrack to wicked, as well, though i actually haven't been lucky enough to land a time to view a live performance. i blame that from living in such an isolated state as silly indiana. x-x. back to the movies, i love harry potter as well, and i'm a huge twilight fan; though i'm pretty sure that the movie adaptation will not be near as good as the whole series. [anyone else here that wanted to slice apart bella in eclipse or new moon?]
television shows. grey's anatomy is the only one that i dependently attach myself too, and i haven't been fortunate enough to be able to watch any gossip girl or many others of the shows that are highly popular seeing as either a.) my mother has heard bad reviews of the show, or perhaps i'm always busy whenever the shows air. anyone want to clue me in a little bit on the definition of the show? i'd be quite interested and thankful to be clued in on the whole boat.
oh yeah, and i'm absolutely horrid at being random or cool, or any of those things so i'm not going to conform with adding any cool tidbits about myself because honestly; i know of none. either that, or perhaps i'm less than imaginative than i'd want to really be.
