I cans has shiny things?

Since the days of G/S/C and my chance encounter with a purple Delibird, I have had this small craving for Shiny Pokemon. It kind of exploded when my friend had entire TEAMS of shinies that actually kicked my behind :o

Now I have an insane want of making a Pink shiny team and a Yellow/Gold shiny team. I have three members for my pinks and two for my Yelllow/Gold. It's almost as an unhealthy addiction as trying to make competitive Pokemon teams ><

I have a gaming obsession right now with management simulation games, actually. >_>;
I spend more time than I should planting berries in Pokemon. <_<;

Management simulation games? *gets a bit confused* Never heard of that term before-what kind of games do you mean?

Hahaha, berry planting-a lot better off in Platinum with all the different type-weakening ones and such. I was just a guilty of that as you were for a little while but I had to wean myself off of it.

I lub Pokemon. I have a shiney Luxray. I jacked it from my brother. Hehe. I had a shiney Voltorb, but my game got corrupted and it went bye bye. I'm still upset about it. Right now I'm playing Diamond, but I want Platinum.

I don't own ANY shinies! T_T

Truth be told, I'd LOVE to get a Shiny Rayquaza; They're black and red! Wait, I take it back, I own a Shiny Milotic, which I like better than the regular, a Shiny Magikarp (Gold FTW!) and a Shiny Feebas, but I do not count them; they were *cough*hacked*cough* so they're not really Shiny to start with.

I was never able to catch a shiny pokemon... let alone encounter one. D":

I wish my internal batteries for my G/S weren't dead, or I'd be very tempted to hunt for some now. Is there a trick to it? And can you get them in the lastest versions?

I personally have never encountered one in the wild, but i have stolen many from the pokemon games that get traded in at work xD Yes, im that obsessed i raid every pokemon game that gets traded in to see if anything is worth taking...i think i have 6 shinies now? and lots of master balls :lol:

My prize possession is a shiny lapras, i love him to bits :heart: and a shiny lugia, its rather pretty because its pink xD also got a shiny cherubi and regigigas, cant remember the other two atm though....

Dainty- In D/P/Pt there is a device called the Pokeradar. This allows you to chain for shiny's-the higher the chain the more likely your chance of getting a shiny is. There's also a very, very complex game mechanic called RNG (Random Number Generator) abuse, which is very broken in Emerald and can, when done correctly guarantee a shiny. Hahaha, look on Smogon for more info on that.

Tre- Le gasp! So very, very naughty! *laughs* I'd probably be guilty of the same thing-and hey, they didn't want the game anymore and the person who's buying it is going to wipe the cart anyways right? I've always wanted a Shiny Lugia *instantly jealous* I'm still SRing for a shiny Darkrai and with nearly a week running on this whole thing, I'm starting to loose heart ><

Hmmm I have to think long and hard about which shiny I'd want. Probably a shiny Sableye with a decent EV/IV would be my favorite. (I absolutely love that pokemon. He's uber awesome. :cry: ) I only caught a shiny Diglet before, and the only difference is his nose. My ex husband caught a couple shinys. The first that comes to mind is his shiny whismer. My husband has just caught a shiny Tropius, and I'm rather fond of it but he won't let me have it due to bragging rights. :(

As for gaming obsessions....Right now I'm stuck on Magician's Quest and I've got my daily routine down pretty well now. I have to go mushroom picking and then try to gather plenty of bugs and fish to trade in for items then sell them off to the shop. Right now I'm trying to get one of every instrument and song...not because they play any significance in the game (other than it's cute to get your neighbors to play along with you) I have had alot of fun.

I think the only other obsessions I've had are with Ebay (I check that on a daily basis, whether I have money or not) and just my Tamagotchi collection. I have to have the next one that comes out. (To the point where I'm trading off my other toys to collectors in order to afford it at the moment. :sweat: )

I get so excited when I encounter a shiny pokemon, even when I already have one that isn't shiny. The only colors that I've gotten was pink and red though.

I have a few shinies myself. A blue Umbreon, a blue Electrode, a black Rayquaza, a blue Ponyta... hmm. I might be missing one, but I'm not sure. I only caught the Electrode myself though... got the others in trades (but they're all legit!). ^^; I've been trying to get shinies through Pokeradar on Diamond for ages but I haven't had any luck yet.

The first shiny I ever caught, though, was a lavender and seafoam green Tentacool, in Crystal. xD It was sooo pretty.

Every Shiny Pokemon i've seen in my life have been golden!
Rhyhorn in Gold, Exeggcute and Caterpie in Leaf Green, and Geodude in Diamond.

Although, to be honest, most pokemon don't look as good shiny. Especially Blastoise and Nidoqueen, as much as i love them. :P
