I think that I'll probably work my way to the whole 245 stars for the set, and then after that whatever stars I get I'll donate to the star eater for the final one. Just wanna make sure I have enough first DX

I like my every 11 stars system because it's easy to keep track of (every time I reach a whole number, I know it's time to donate), and because it adds up to a lot over time, but it doesn't feel like that much at the time. XD So I'm not like, "Is this too much? I might want the items those stars would give me..."

It is so odd to me that people are worried about not having enough. ^^; It only looks like you "need more". But I tried to do the math to get the casual user a set and a half at least. :/ Including the Star Eater's item. >_<;

But maybe I'm assuming the casual user has more time to spend on Menewsha than they actually do.

Well myself, for example... This is a really bad week for me. Doctor's appointments, shopping, therapy...
My birthday is on Sunday and then next week I have to make all the final preps for college. Which means I have to HAVE everything together to make the final preps thiiiiis week.

But I get on more than the average user. So...I'm not that worried about getting a set.
I'm worried that we won't get the special 7th item.

I think right now people are really worried about even completing their first set (which I don't think they should be - but I'm not them and they might not have enough time to do it if they have a lot of stuff to do). After some of them catch up, I'm sure there will be more donations. :yes:

Okay guys, I just got a PM from Creps and he's not going to be ready to take over again for a while, as moving has been pretty hectic for him.

I'm going to go ahead and cancel this week's round, and we'll wait until the event is over to start nominations again. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I had totally forgotten that the event would overlap with the new round. :yes: I'll go remove noms from the front page and we'll just start anew when the event ends. :yes:

And CK, 200+ stars for one set IS daunting, especially after around five hours or so people only had less than 50 or around that number. ^^;;

I logged in and joined the event around....10am. By 3pm I had 50 stars. ; O;

And now it's almost 11 pm, and I only have 60 (I got distracted a few hours...)

I have no worry about getting enough for one set, but I tend to like to get as many sets as I possibly can. XD

I figure I can manage at least four using both my main and my other.

right now I don't even have enough stars for the first item and I have a huge group project for uni due on Friday that's taking up a lot of my time...

Slow: What I do is I keep Chrome open on my main and Internet explorer open on my other, both of them on the goddesses page. I mark down what time it is that I get my stars (12:49 being the latest), and then I go back to work. Half an hour later, I open click on the already open windows, click through the six petitions, mark the time, and go back to work. It takes maybe 30 seconds each time.

I would be happy with at least three sets. xDD;;

And slow, I do the same thing as Cami, only I use one browser (I alternate) and then I perform as well. =) I do that every 30 minutes, so that even if I don't post I still can get something. ^^;;

This is with me working on two papers too. xDD;;
Also, I tend to chat for around 30 mins to an hour when it's time for a break. =P
But, I at the very least try to stay on the 30 minute mark. ^^;;

yeah, I've been trying to keep up the petitioning and performing every half hour, but it's hard when work gets distracting and then my sister takes the computer for a few hours. I just keep missing out on opportunities to get stars.

I wish it reset on the half hour rather than half an hour after you last petitioned/performed D:

Slow: Me too. I'm always losing time because I don't get back to it right at the half an hour, and if I don't right down when I petition, then I don't remember 30 minutes later and have to keep guessing.

mostly I just end up trying when I think it's been around half an hour, but sometimes I accidentally leave it longer than half an hour so I loose time and it's all very annoying really xD

I just lost eight minutes. D: It made me sad.

I don't know how much time I've lost, but if we're counting time I've been away from the computer, I've lost several hours xD

XD I lost 7 hours while sleeping. I'll have to not do that for the rest of the event.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been around at all, my summer's been really hectic XD I just got to my new house last week and there are still TONS of things to take care of.

Just noting that earning rates for stars were altered, so I hope it's easier for you guys to earn now. I know it's not super easy though if you're busy. :x I think I over-estimated how much time the average Menewshan (not the casual or hardcore one) is able to spend on Menewsha during events. Or maybe it's just a bad time of the year for our average Menewshan to find the time.

It's definitely a bad time for me... I'm just getting so much work for uni that I don't have nearly as much time to get on as I usually would

I think it's just timing. :x I probably could have earned more if I had found more time, but yeah, sadly that isn't the case. ^^;;
