i have been having this recurring dream about having my throat slit. in more detail, copypasta from my lj:

the only thing i can really remember from the dream is that various people would just casually walk up to me and slit my throat and then i'd be dead. it was like playing clips of a slightly varying scene in quick succession. it's even more strange because i thought it was impossible to reach the death stage in a dream. i've never died in a dream before. what made it really scary is that i could feel the blade cutting through the flesh of my throat.
august 6th, 2009
last night i had a dream in which i'm watching a stage adaptation of the last episode of code geass r2, but the ending is completely different. lelouch and suzaku are having a final midnight battle atop the eiffel tower. i have no idea how big the top of the tower is, but it's a pretty huge space and the cast of the show are standing around lelouch and suzaku watching the fight. i suppose i'm standing among them, but i forget how i know that it's a play. anyway, as this is a different version of the end,
(censored for code geass spoilers, but the point is it's different from what happened in the show)
they are both in ashford uniforms, and suzaku has this huge sword. so they're fighting, and lelouch is stabbed and dies. the play ends, i go backstage, and suddenly one of the staff walks up to me and informs me that i am talented enough to play lelouch in the next show. the dream shifts to me, as lelouch, performing the final fight with suzaku. the scene runs perfectly, and when it's time for lelouch to die, suzaku runs up to me with the giant sword and actually slits my throat.
as soon as this happens, i have this out-of body experience i suppose, and i see this thin dark red cut appear on my/lelouch's throat. my point-of-view shifts back to the way it was and i'm looking through my own eyes, and suzaku finally stabs me for real as the crowd cheers.
aaaand that is where the dream ends.
why do i keep dreaming about dying? specifically the slitting of the throat.

it's weird. i didn't know you could reach the death stage in a dream. anyone have any ideas as to what it could mean?
