Drake nearly lost it when she thought that he had a chicken fetish.

He started making chicken noises in her head and laughing.

Raii had watched as Leon put up the ingredients, "Oh dear god" she whispered to herself. Raii was not a cooker at all, she couldn't cook worth anything and every time she did, she burned everything. So she decided to skip the cooking for today, she really wasn't in the mood for it, Raii didn't care if she flunked the class or not, she just didn't want to be here.

She raised her hand and asked, "I can't really cook at all... so what do I do now?"

Cecilia rolled her eyes. She needed to find someone more mature and less annoying and less irritating and less, oh everything! Anything was better than this creature! Ha, creature, dragon, a smile tugged at the corner of her mouth, but she wouldn't let herself laugh. She wondered if she decided to fall asleep would she be able to ignore him then. No, she'd probably have nightmares. "urg, if only I knew his weakness..."

Leon smiled and looked at her, "What can you make? You have to have a passing grade, so you can have it easier. It's alright not to have cooking talents, that's life! Some have it, some don't

Victoria sighed, completely bored, thinking that Cecilia was born clueless.....

Drake smiled, 'You may as well just give in and laugh. You'll feel better doing it....'

"Heh, oh so true drake." and smiled. "Everything smells delicious just so you all know" And stood up and looked at everyone's dishes.

"I'm too frustrated to laugh," Cecilia said and turned her attention to the other girl, "Isn't that the point of a cooking class, to learn?" She was frustrated so she needed to take it out on someone, Drake wasn't helping, so it looked like she was going to have to get a phone, then she can yell at her cousin and he wouldn't care. But for now, this girl would do.

"Hey! Don't get all bitchy just because you're PMSing!" Victoria said rather loudly.

The entire class laughed, including Drake, though he managed to hide it pretty well.

Cecilia frowned. If Victoria thought she could embarrass her, she was wrong. Cecilia has dealt with worse and she handled them all the same way. She got up and left the class room. Yep, ditching school, an easy way to clear her mind and get away from that stupid mind reader. "Letting some guy get you worked up, that's not like you," She scolded herself as she stormed down the hall toward the exit. "Where's an idiot when you need one," She mumbled trying to think what her cousin would say. He had an odd way of cheering her up, but she had to be careful about what she thought, so dawdling on the past would be a bad idea, so she tried to think happy thoughts, such as sleeping, lying on warm fluffy bed, taking a nice hot bath, "I'd kill for one now."

"Well what are you waiting for? Go after your girl and comfort her!" Victoria said to Drake.

"No.... I think she'd rather have some alone time. Besides she's thinking of ways to comfort herself. They're very simple and rather boring ways but its a start nonetheless. She's trying to think happy thoughts. What she's coming up with, however, is rather pathetic...." Drake replied.

"Hm?" Cecilia stopped as she noticed a kitten in a tree. "Why is it they can climb up, but never down," She mumbled as it meowed down at her. "If you weren't cute I'd leave you up there," She said, but unfortunately, she had a soft spot for gray cats. "No one likes gray," She said picking up the kitten with her hand and then hoping down from the lower branch. It wasn't a very high tree. "There you go," She said setting the kitten back on the ground. She wondered how far she had to go so Drake couldn't hear her thoughts. "Hey," She said as the little kitten she rescued rubbed against her leg. "Oh great, now you're going to follow me," She mumbled walking to the other side of the school grounds, "This ought to be far enough, if not, he must be hearing voices all day. That would be annoying, maybe that's why he's so irritating."

Seiki rose an eyebrow, "Who will be hearing voices all day?"

He had just finished training in the woods and was leaning against a tree.

"Eh," Cecilia stopped in her tracks as she heard a voice. "Must be my imagination," She mumbled as she glanced around and saw no one. The kitten meowed as if reminding her he was still there. "If only you weren't so cute," She said picking it up. She glanced around, but still no sign of anyone. "Whatever," She sighed and sat down on a bench near the forest edge. She didn't want to wander through the woods in case she got lost.

Seiki rolled his eyes and transformed into his werewolf form then began patrolling the woods. Just because Victoria's brother couldn't enter the barrier doesn't mean that his minions can't.....

"I must be out of range," Cecilia said, "He hasn't bothered to interrupt my thoughts yet." So she relaxed a bit and tried to remember whatever it was that was bugging her in the classroom. Of course now she couldn't think about it, it was like she needed that setting. She didn't really know why it bugged her, but it seemed important for some reason. "A boy," She mumbled as she closed her eyes and concentrated. That's right, Drake was the same as that boy that she had meant in elementary school. He couldn't read minds, but their personalities were similar. "Hm... I wonder what happened to him," She said in deep thought now. Of course back then she wasn't interested in marriage. She couldn't remember much or maybe she just didn't want to. "Nobody likes gray," She said staring at the kitten as it slept in her arms. Suddenly she remembered something. "Strange. I think gray's a nice color." That's what the boy had said to her back then. "It doesn't matter now," She shook her head wondering why something like that would be important.

A man was in the woods. An assassin. He was getting tired of waiting for Victoria to show herself so he decided to amuse himself in other ways.....

He took aim with his sniper rifle. A little red dot appeared on the kitten's forehead....

"Is something wrong?" Cecilia asked as she watched the kitten tense and it hissed at something in the forest. "Is someone there?" She asked wondering who would be in forest and who would even want to spy on her.

The sound of a gun cocking echoes throughout the forest. The sniper was still aiming at the kitten's head with a bright red dot.

(I'm assuming he shot the kitten...)

Cecilia's mind didn't register what happened. Sound came after impact so by the time she registered that someone had just fired at her, the kitten that was lying in her arms was bleeding. She stared down at it not sure why someone would kill it and most of all why didn't whoever it was kill her. "Nobody likes gray," She whispered and a droplet of water fell onto the dead kitten. "Rain?" She questioned, but realized that it was her face that was wet, "Why?" She couldn't remember the last time she cried. She couldn't remember ever crying. Not even when her mom died.

Drake heard the shot and looked outside. All he saw was Cecilia covered in blood. His eyes widened in horror as he grabbed Victoria and ran as fast as he could to get to her.

"Cecilia!" He screamed out.

He looked at her in horror when he saw the bright red dot of a sniper rifle's laser on her forehead.

He threw a ball of ice where the sniper was. He screamed as his gun and arms froze. Out of no where Seiki practically flew towards him and ripped off his arms with his massive fangs.

'No one threatens my mate!' He sent to the man.

Drake draped a his arm around Cecilia, weather she wanted him to or not. He kept spazzing and asking her if she was hurt.

Victoria knew that she wasn't. Not physically anyway. She approached the two.

"Do you want the kitten to live again?" She asked Cecilia.

"Huh?" Cecilia hated when everything moved so fast. She wished she could rewind and put everything in slow mow. She wasn't very good at catching on. So she closed her eyes, First off, Someone shot the kitten, Secondly, Drake was spazzing about whether or not she was ok, so did that mean someone was going to kill her? Third, Victoria just asked if she could bring the dead back to life? She pondered on this. She knew the stories of bringing the dead back to life and how they didn't want to come back, but this was a bit different. "Um... I'm fine," Cecilia first said to Drake to shut him up and then responded to Victoria, "If you um... want to..."

Leon looked at his watch and counted down the remaining seconds that lasted of class. "7... 6... 5.... Ah screw it." He said and got off his chair, "Class is dismissed, lets go eat and play!" he said running out the door to the cafeteria.

Raii just looked at Leon, when he asked her the question.. "Well, nothing really.." she wasn't afraid to admit it, so she just sat there and doodled little pictures in the margin of her notebook. She started humming a tune in her head, no tune that followed any structure, just a tune that suited her fit.

Time flew and before Raii knew it, class was being dismissed, Raii snapped out of her dream like state, and almost ran to the door, she just didn't want to be stuck in there anymore. She walked along a path for awhile, she didn't have a class next so she decided to go find a tree to sit under, and she would continue her daydreaming, and doodling.

Seiki emerged from the forest. He was in his human form, with blood all down the front of him starting from his mouth and ending at his waist.

Drake looked over at him, slightly nauseated.

Victoria placed her hand over the kitten. Both the kitten and her hand began to glow a very bright white. In a matter of minutes she removed her hand to reveal the kitten staring up at Cecilia.

It meowed and purred.

Cecilia hadn't realized it, but her face was still wet from her tears earlier, though she had stopped crying when she became confused. She tried her best to wipe her eyes discretely with her sleeve, while her other hand rubbed the kitten's ears. It was then she noticed the man who was covered in blood. "Um.... what happened?" She asked, her eyes moving from Drake, to the man, and to Victoria. She didn't care who spoke, she just wanted her confusion to be cleared up.
