Gaia depresses me anymore...
I actually came here because of that. (Then I forgot about this and got addicted to Gaia again... So I'm back, and I think I'm staying here now)
Gaia... I don't even know what to say about it, but it's going down-hill. D=

Gaia I hadly talk in the main forums (I do read CD and such) from the fact that most of the time it is just not worth it but to get either angry or laugh my head off at how bad the post/thread is (though the last part I head there anyway).

I do hang there for my friends, the cool avatar stuff they make, sometimes the games. I love the arena and market, the new shops, ect...

It might not be perfect but I have found my nich and I love it for that. Not many people can do that they lose it or just do stupid things on gaia and get banned from there.

I just go on Gaia to make perty avatars every couple of days, feed my throng of Hermit Cats, and occasionally see if I can find any good messages in the bottle other than, "LAWL, TWLIGHT RULEZ LAWL" and "What's your fave band?"
I think I saw the fave band 7 times in like.....twenty minutes.

I've never once donated real money to the site, and TekTek says I'm worth about 1.2 million, with 360 items, hehe.

Oh, hey, has anyone gotten any good items from the Aquarium lately?
I got an Angel Imp Potion.
At first I thought, "Oh no, are they going back to original Aquarium prizes?!" XD

I have to say i do think Gaia is going down hill, but I do still really like it. I mostly just go there for art and Role playing, and to make avi's since i finally have a good amount of gold on Gaia. But there's a lot of people on Gaia that make it less fun by putting stupid chat forums in.
Ive been on a few other sights and Menewsha kind of reminds me of Solia and Renolia (not sure how to spell this one) mostly cause of how the avatars look.
Its easier to get gold on here than it is on Gaia I think and i find it annoying how on almost every event item they're always asking for money and when something goo comes out its a cash item so you have to wait a while for it to be on the market and then another while for it to go down to a reasonable price.

I've only ever gotten crap from the Aquarium--the best stuff being Castaway shirts. XD Oh, well. I'll go and check it again; see if I get anything.

Heehee. My friend told me about Menewsha from gaia. x'D I think gaia is sorta losing it's touch. But I don't care. I love it there! (Translation I love fallowing my friends around in the towns and annoying the heck out of them)

I still run my artshop, though for the majority, it's kinda closed D: - only taking orders there under the table when I feel like it.

I talk to some people there...some that I've converted to mene, and I still participate in events.

Hey, I just got an Angel Imp potion too.
What does it do? If you use it, then is it gone?

Angel Imp Potion will give you the Angel Imp avatar base, so you'll have 2 funky angel wings on your head, and I forgot what other avy base features it gives you. It works the same as the zombie, elf and orc potions.

It's a one-time use item, so it will go away . o.
I got one a few weeks ago from the Overseer.

All the angel imp potion does is give you the wings, in order to get rid of the wings, if its like the vampire potion you have to take a human potion

They also have a devil imp potion that gives you devil wings instead

Another question, but regarding the beach that came out recently, how do you get the secret item for the secret beach or what not?

Haha you're welcome, I am a moderator on another site so I can certainly understand how stressful the job can get at times. I also appreciate it when members there can make me laugh.

Anyone on Gaia having login issues?

Gaia has really been annoying me recetly, hence why i joined this site.
It;s become so comercialised it feels like they're always trying to grab our money off us with things like gaia cash and these new 'offers' which you can fill out and get virus' on your computer. Many people have quit over these issues and it seems like the site deosn;t care. I;ve been on gaia since early 05 and I remember when it was like this, simple layed back, and well fun. Yes I do preffer gaia's forum system and the amount of members on it. But I guess those things will come to this site in time (as I feel the forums move very slowly here) I much preffer the ways of earning gold here as it is alot of earier than gaia, as I am a very sociable person and I love to chat earning gold on here for the amount I chat is perfect.
I cannot wait to see the ways this site advances I jsut hope menewsha doesn't make the same mistakes gaia does. x

Talk to the fire. If you do, it grants you an item. Not sure if you can still access it anymore, though.

What it does it gives you, as said already, the Angel Imp base. The main things that I notice about it are that you gain huge wings sprouting from your head, avian feet with feathering that goes up a little ways, and slimmed arms. Besides that, if I remember right, you are not able to equip shoes while using the skin.

But now its coming around to where most of the people I talk to haven't even watched a main stream anime.

Gaia isn't pulling in the right sort of crowd anymore.

People ARE totally like that there. Or they try to act like they know more than you do. Posting in a big neon font doesn't make anyone cool. -.-;

That's something else that drives me crazy about Gaia - the animes people have seen. Finding people who have seen obscure animes is like pulling teeth. I seriously have to sift to find people who have things in common with me. Finding people with my musical interests is even more difficult.

I think the mods on Gaia act so intimidating because they have to. x_x I have a friend recently who became a mod, and she wasn't intimidating before she became a mod (I've known her for over 2 years) and she's still not intimidating now. I think some sort of behavior code forces them to act a certain way. I'm also friends with ex-mods, including an ex-omni mod. The work seemed to take a lot out of them.

I could easily understand how it could take a lot out of them. Not the most fun of works, and not particularly one that gets you very much thanks. Often enough, it gets you just the opposite, I'd suspect. Being a GD mod would be particularly nasty, I think.

The forums on Gaia are so full of trolls and spammers! Why don't the mods do their jobs? It's not that hard to delete a thread, is it? I've modded on other forums back in the day, so unless they're using some P-O-S code for their forums, it should be just a few buttons! [ / rant ]

*sigh* Seriously, though, Gaia frustrates me. Pretty much everything is fun, except for encountering other users! Particularly now that school has started, and all the teenyboppers now have homework... <-- is a grad student who doesn't start until October
