This has been bugging me for months, so I figured I'd get around to making a topic about it.
A while back, and I mean a WHILE back, there was this anime that played on Cartoon Network (Or Toonami, or Adult Swim, I don't remember).
It was about an hour long, and from what I can remember, it was about these kids playing hide and seek in alleyways, and something was killing them, or taking them away. Something to that effect.

Sorry for the horrible description, but if it rings a bell for anyone, could they tell me what the name of it? Or where I can find it and watch it?

I think we need more of a description of what happened in the series or even what the characters looked like might help. Chances are someone knows... I might even know... but not off of that short description. Even if that was all the anime was about character descriptions or what the places looked like or even pets... a particular scene that stuck out in your mind. :3 Just trying to help here. =w=

It could be anything from Paranoid Agent, to Fooly Cooly, to even Wolfs Rain, and Cowboy Bebop.

XD Not really sure what it could have been, but just think back to all of the old shows that used to play.

Are you maybe thinking of Kakurenbo? That's the only thing I know of that seems similar.

It wasn't an actual series, only an hour long thing. It aired maybe, I dunno, four or five years ago?
I remember some of the kids wore masks.
I know the description is awful, and I apologize. I have a terrible memory as it is. I can hardly remember why I enter a room, let alone remember stuff I watched when I was like, ten or eleven.

Yes, fiarra, was right. I loved that movie! I rented it off Neckflix for my anime club to see since I was president at the school. It was fantastic, great art. c: Kakurenbo.

Hahah, I loved Paranoid Agent, Wolfs Rain, and Cowboy Bebop. They should get some of the anime that they used to have on adult swim back on there. I don't really remember what Fooly Cooly is though.
