The OOC Forum
Background
Many years have passed since the last battle between the Clans and the Packs. The vampires being the victorious ones, though many believe that they gained their power by lies and deceit. It didn't matter now, the weres have been forced into submission only to serve the vampires as pets and weapons. They have no say, controlled by humiliation the vampires keep them on a short leash. Literally. But will this reign of power last? Well, that's really up for the weres to decide... isn't it?
Genre: Master and Slave/ Vampire vs. Werewolves/ Horror/ Romance/ Drama/ Action
Rating: PG-17
[IMGleft]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v605/kjb127716/WolfVampire.png[/IMGleft] Story
The Vampires always held an upper hand in society of humans, their kind and the wereanimals. From the way they were built at rebirth, to the way they hold themselves in a crowd and conversation they are attractive, deceitful, and dominant in every way. It is unsure as to how the hatred built between them and the Weres, who were (in their own right) glorious and intellegent. Some say it started over a maiden, like the old Shakespearean tale of Romeo and Juliet. Some say it was over territory or resources. Others believe it was just an arguement that started among a clan and a pack of little importance, but whatever it was, it led to one conclusion. War. They fought for many wars. Clans attacked packs during the night, claiming to have cleansed another pack of vermin. They called themselves exterminators, while the weres came back with elites of their own called Knights. Both were considered royalty in due time and became the leaders of their own armies. The battle continued for several more years the weres finally gaining the upper hand with the Moon on their side.
On December 21st, 1945... the tides turned for the worst. The Vampire Clans executed thousands of packs in a single night. And those that did not feel the sweet embrace of death, lived a much worse fate than such. They became slaves, held by silver leashes that could not break.
It is now December 14th, 2014 and the weres have become domestic pets and slaves to the Vampires. They fed the Vampires when other food sources were no where to be found, able to heal moments later. Royalty only filled the blood not the souls of the weres, as their fighting spirit has been extinguished throughout the years. Until one Pack tried to fight back... they failed at defeating a full clan of vampires, but did they fail at inspiring others to start fighting back? Maybe... Or maybe not.

[1.] No Godmoding or Powerplaying
[2.] Send your Profiles via PM! Please limit each Were(If you are a Were) in here to one! Meaning if someone is already a Were-Tiger, don't post that you are a Were-Tiger. It's called Diversity.
[3.] Be Semi-Literate to Literate. If you are neither I will not accept your profile. I'm sorry, this isn't just a roleplay to get your kicks. THERE IS A PLOTLINE! Also, if I do not accept your Profile and it is not hosted with the others- DON'T POST. You will be flagged on the Black List.
[4.] Cussing is fine, but please do not use the 'F' word. You know what I mean. It always makes me feel uncomfortable hearing that dirty word.

[10.] Remember to not fight out of character and to have fun.
Guidelines
+ Weres have the ability to change between their two forms (Human and Beast) at any time they wish (With the exception of them being in contact with silver). When shifting from their two forms, clothing articles do not change with them. Meaning if they shift from human to beast in their outfit, there had better be some give in their clothing otherwise it will tear.
+ When in Beast form, weres cannot speak be it telepathically or straight from their muzzle/beak/jaws.
+ Beast does not mean Wereman or woman. It means creature or animal.
I.E. If a human form of a werewolf 'shifts' into his/her beast, they become a giant wolf. Rather than a Large furry man with muzzle and tail
+ Weres cannot change when they are in contact with silver. Thus Collars are made of Silver.
+ Not every Pack are Knights, just like not every Clan are Exterminators.
+ Weres can be used as a food source for the vampires, seeing as though they can heal rapidly and the Vampire's venom does not effect them.
+ Every were has a Master, but not every Vampire has a Were.
+ Packs are named after their Alpha's Last name, thus carrying on that last name. It is not uncommon for weres to marry inside their own pack. Clans work the same way.
I.E. Alpha Wolf is named Charles Smith, they would be known as the Smith Pack.
+ When Weres are in their human form they show no sign of animalistic features. So no ears, paws, talons, or tails when they are in their human form.

Profiles
NOTE: You are only allowed two main characters.
Weres
Username: Kriddles
Character's Name: Isis Rivera
Age: Looks Twenty- two (Really Ninety-Eight)
Vampire/Were: Were: Tiger
Appearance: [Human] [Beast]
Personality: Isis's will use to be strong before the weres became what they now are today. Her cry of being a Knight has been silenced, and she is now nothing more than a pet. But her inner beast is impatient, and it won't be long before that side that lusts for blood finally takes over.
Tag Shape: None Yet
Bio: Born in 1916, Isis has seen many of battle. Her rank climbed from being a cub to a Alpha Female. Never marrying she never obtained a mate which made her Pack doubt her. Though their opinions changed when she led them into battle against a hellish clan known as the Travian Clan. Coming out victorious, their pack was looked upon as Knights leading several Weretiger armies into battle against the Vampires. It wasn't until that horrible night in 1945 that she lost everything. Her Pack was massacred through the night, and those that survived were placed in chains. She wishes for the death of every vampire, but she is currently in no shape to face them.
Skills: Like every Were she is agile, and heals rapidly. But she has some unique skills of her own. She is rather brutal when she attacks, knowing every vital point on person, were, and vampire. On top of that she is very clever.
Extra: Isis tries her best not to show it, but her one vulnerable spot is just below her rib cage when she is human, and her tail when she is in her beast form. Though you can get on her good side when you scratch below her chin or behind the ear.
Who is your Master/Pet: No one as of yet.
Post Color: Dark Orange

Username: Crescendo
Character's Name: Jacinthe Marie Addison
Age: 20-25 yrs (she stopped counting after a while)
Vampire/Were: Were; Snow Leopard
Appearance: Beast | Human
Personality: Reserved, introverted, and very quiet, Jacinthe often gives the impression that she is trying ignore the world (or even, perhaps, that she is resentful of it). Her eyes betray her, however; no matter her emotion, Jacinthe always feels with passion and her eyes, silver as they are, appear to glisten like pools and ripple from the movement of the soul beneath. She is has a very steady nature, is excellent when it comes to child-rearing, but finds it difficult to bond to any one being outside of her family. Due to her outward reserve and inward fiest, the tags best suited to Jacinthe would be the Cross or the Star (though the Heart could always be a possibility as well..).
Tag Shape: Star
Bio: She has met only one or two members of her family; all are in captivity, and it is only the life a slave that Jacinthe knows.
Skills: She doesn't know how to use any particular weapon (besides her claws or teeth), but could learn quickly if taught. She also knows some cooking, but hates the chore. She is best as either a companion or a fighter; nothing more.
Extra: She is colorblind.
Who is your Master/Pet: Percy Temple

Character's Name: Riley Trevor
Age: 17
Vampire/Were: Were: Cheetah
Appearance: Human | Beast She has brown eyes speckled with gold.
Personality: Curious and not afraid to try new things, Riley has popped from various masters, and even from a circus act before finally resting with her master in the Mansion. Even though she's a slave now, she's persistent about being told what to do.
Tag Shape: Cross
Bio: Before Riley ended up becoming a "slave", her parents were the Alpha Male and Female of their small pack. Since most of the pack were Knights in secret, they were sent on an anonymously tipped mission to bring down a group of renegade vampires that had taken roost in their territory. It was Riley's first actual mission with the rest of the pack since she was the youngest and had never gone before. But when the Trevor Pack arrived at so called destination they were ambushed. The whole pack was killed except one.
Skills: She's not familiar with any weaponry, and when fighting, tends to only use her claws and fangs.
Extra: She loves the snow and always feels safe when surrounded by it.

Character's Name: Afina
Age: 23
Vampire/Were: Were-coyote
Appearance: Human l Beast
Personality: Afina lives up to the coyote in her. She is intelligent, and calculating, but has a sarcastic air about her. She is unusually loyal to the people she cares about and would risk her life if it saved somebody else.
Tag Shape: None yet
Bio: Afina has seen much in her short life, although she herself has never been abused or anything of the sort. She is a descendant of the Native American Cherokee people and you can tell it as soon as you see her in her human form. It is this and the gifts her lineage has given her that would make her useful to her master in the form of entertainment. She can perform magic dance and can play the flute.
Skills: Has an Affinity (hence her name) for all 5 elements but rarely uses them as a sign of respect to the elements. For this reason she is a very capable fighter as well.
Extra: She could either be a good fighter or entertainment, or maybe even both? Either way she holds onto her Native American pride.
Who is your Master/Pet: Nobody as of yet

Vampires
Username: Kriddles
Character's Name: Percy Temple
Age: Looks Thirty-One (Is Two Hundred and Fifty Seven)
Vampire/Were: Vampire
Appearance: [Percy]
Personality: Sarcastic, and a bit cocky he loves a game of chase. He's never been a romantic, but when he wants to, he can sweep a woman off her feet with whispers of the the night. Though his one fault is that he is very vain. When he is in battle, he is calm and lets the enemy come to him. Just don't harm his pretty face.
Tag Shape: N/A
Bio: His History spans from 1757 to today. Being immortal usually puts a damper on life, but he seems to thrive with it. He enjoys the turn of events for his kind, seeing it from beginning to end. Though even he doesn't know why the war started. He only picks out the most glorious or rare of the weres and when he grows tired of them, he leaves them to die of starvation in silver cage only to plead for their life in vain. He's been through 45 weres throughout his life, and he is still counting them.
Skills: Percy is very manipulative, and cunning. He has an eye for beauty and paints a portrait of every were he owns. Almost as if they were past wives or lovers.
Extra: Again, Percy has a weakness for beauty. He prefers the most majestic of the weres, seeing as though anything else just insults his image.
Who is your Master/Pet: Jacinthe Marie Addison
Post Color: Royal Blue
Quote:
Username: Chocolate Clouds
Character's Name: Ruxandra Isabel Draegan
Age: Unknown, Looks around 25
Vampire/Were: Vampire
Appearance: Ruxandra
Personality: Ruxandra is a nice enough person with striking, icy blue eyes that always seem to catch the littlest details and miss nothing. Surprisingly enough, she dislikes violence yet is always ready to defend a friend in trouble. Ruxandra is loyal and honest, but perhaps that's because she is a terrible liar. She's a sweet person and often finds joy in playing her piano.
Tag Shape: N/A
Bio: Ruxandra is thought to have been born sometime in the 18th century of noble or royal birth. She was changed into a vampire early in her human life, though the exact date and year are unknown. Ruxandra has always been around the conflict between the were-animals and vampires, and thus finds it perfectly normal for them to be treated like trash, though she does refrain from keeping one as a pet.
Skills: As for fighting skills, none really, which may make Ruxandra seem weak, but don't be fooled. She often uses her exceptionally pretty looks to lure and manipulate people into doing what she wants them to. She's also smart and has exceptional musical talent.
Extra: Though Ruxandra doesn't currently have a were- pet, she's willing to take one in if absolutely necessary.
Who is your Master/Pet: None, yet.

Username: The Jupiter Alien
Character's Name: Arissa Lovelace
Age: Looks to be about fifteen or sixteen, but true age is unknown.
Vampire/Were: Vampire
Appearance: Arissa
Personality: Contrary to her cute looks and name, Arissa is cold and extremely manipulative. She will go through any lengths to get what she wants. Her stubborn-ness and refusal to change her mind is both her greatest strength and downfall. Though quiet, she is more pensive and aware than timid and shy. The only thing that her looks and actions is her immaturity. When angry, she goes into a tantrum and basically acts very spoiled and bratty. She dresses in classy and somewhat regal-looking clothes.
Tag Shape: N/A
Bio: Arissa isn't the name she was given at human birth, but rather the name she gave herself when she became a vampire. It seems she was 'born' around the end of the seventeenth century. The only memory she recollects from being human is that the Weres killed both her parents before her very eyes. Since then, she hates the Weres with a passion, and thinks them to be even less than the scum under her shoes - if there was any. Due to her extreme coldness, the only one she trusts is the one who turned her, and even now, she doesn't trust completely.
Skills: She has an incredible knack at sewing and usually makes her own clothes, which it why they look expensive and elegant, but aren't the normal price others pay.
Extra: She keeps her nails someone long and pointy, similar to her fangs, but not with such sharpness.
Who is your Master/Pet: Riley Trevor

The night was the darkest it could possibly be. Even the Moon and the stars didn't shine tonight as the clouds held promise of freezing rain or snow. The town that we start our story in was small, located in the suburbs outside of a small city. A few apartment buildings littered the streets along with a grocery store, a couple of gas stations and a few fast food resturants. Though many of them were deserted. This place had been over run by the night creatures several years ago. And few humans (except those who were aligned with the Vampires) lived here anymore. A single Mansion stood atop a hill in the distance, one that housed all three vampire clans of this area along with their... beasts. It, currently, was the only building with any lights on.
Inside its walls, Vampires dined on several humans (This was a rarity that they had to work towards) while several weres sat either beside them watching them drain the poor victims, or were kept in a holding room off near the basment. And some were even held within their 'Owner's room waiting for them to return.

There was always something rather intimidating about a man that kept a large cat at his side. Even more so when said cat is intelligent enough to look you straight in the eyes, unblinking, calculating, and ready to respond to even the quietest murmur of a command by her master should he decide that any of the others within the room were not fitting companions.
As it was, those unblinking, calculating eyes were closed and the snow leopard's relatively expressionless face quiet serene as she lay curled near her Master. Though the silver collar was restricting, her graceful neck was arched, her nose tucked daintily between her large, fuzzy paws as she floated quietly between consciousness and dream. Her disproportionatly long tail was curled around her, its tip flicking to and fro like a metranome.
Every now and then, the leopard's rounded ears would flit back and forth and she would raise her flat, spotted head and look about to make sure that her Master was still nearby and that he required no assistance. Though her main purpose was as an accessory, a pet, Jacinthe was quite capable of defense or attack when necessary..

OOC: I happened to like your intro. ;D
The light was dim as pictures of war and decay flicked up on a wall in towards the front. A woman, who belonged to another Clan, believed that she had found a more 'peaceful' agreement with the humans. Appearantly they could donate blood to the Clans in return for protection. The woman herself wasn't horrid to look at if you toned out her non-stop chatter. Her hair was blonde spiraling at the ends like small corkscrews. Her eyes were a sad gray, that looked like the clouds on a rainy day while her face slimmed into a triangle with high cheekbones. Her figure was slim, but nothing short of toned, while bathed in a luxurious midnight blue gown that gathered at her feet.
Percy's hand slowly lowered to touch Jacinthe's soft fur. His slim fingers idlely stroked behind her ear, as his second hand lingered at his lips. His eyelids started to droop from boredom as a woman droned on and on about her idea to benefit them. For all he could see, this would only benefit a more boring and controlled life for the Clans. No adventure, or danger. They would be no better than the humans when it came to gathering their food. He tried to stiffle a yawn, but failed. He turned his wrist and gingerly covered his soft lips before turning his attention towards the chain that sat on his lap.
"Our society would be stronger, and more organized..." The woman patitioned waving her hand gracefully in the air.
"And dull..." Percy groaned, before finally turning all his attention towards Jacinthe. "Don't you agree, my dear?"

A deep, resonating purr began to permeate the air around the cat as Percy stroked her. Jacinthe raised her head ever so slightly, a sign that she appreciated the contact and an invitation for Mr. Temple to continue it. While it could be said that there was a sort of shallow bond between Jacinthe and her master, nothing could be said of strong mutual affection; Mr. Temple provided for Jacinthe in the way of food and shelter, and in return Jacinthe would prance about in Mr. Temple's wake as a glorified accessory or pet. Granted, there were times when they might interact in ways that suggested closeness, but Jacinthe had yet to feel anything genuine for her Master for that was all he was; he Master. And to him, she was only a servent.
Upon hearing Mr. Temple's words, Jacinthe raised her head and sat up on her haunches beside his chair, her intelligent eyes aflicker with mild bemusement. Her ears twitched when the man adressed her and, in response, she gave a mighty, toothy yawn and then curled back down upon the floor to continue napping.
While the compromise that the woman suggested was an interesting one, Jacinthe thought it terribly weak of the humans. Where was the revolt? Where was the revolution that she had heard faintly whispered about on the streets? Was it not the Humans that would lead it? For how many Weres were there left that weren't being held captive?
But no matter, she though, her tail flicking to and fro with a bit more vigor as she mulled the issue over. As far as Jacinthe was concerned, there need not be an such 'revolution' in the near future. She had all her duck in a row (as long as Percy remained happy with her) and some sort of revolt by the humans might very well mess her situation up..

The soft melody of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata filled the still and quiet air as Ruxandra's long, pale fingers danced gracefully across the smooth, ivory keys of the grand piano, a gift that was perhaps her most treasured possession. Flickering candles placed around the cavernous room illuminated her pale, heart-shaped face while her icy-blue eyes were closed, so immersed in the song was she. It was almost ironic, really, that Ruxandra would choose to play this, her favorite song, in such a perfect setting- a dark, gloomy castle filled with impossibly beautiful vampires.
Ruxandra's moment of peace was broken, however, when an all too familiar scent pierced through the air. The warm, enticing smell broke her concentration and she missed a note in the otherwise perfectly played piece. Ruxandra's hands stopped and went limp on the cold piano keys as she identified the smell. Ah. Human blood. No doubt it had come from the few villagers that were still stupid enough to continue living in the small town that stood under the shadow of the large mansion that was the vampire's home. Those few humans were so weak and underfed that their blood tasted little better than water- well, to Ruxandra anyways. No matter how bad the blood was, though, the smell was always mouth-watering and Ruxandra inhaled the heavy scent appreciatively.
She found herself getting out of the black leather piano chair to the large, oak door of the room, captured by the delicious smell of blood, before Ruxandra stopped herself. Did she really want to drink some of that wonderful smelling yet thin and weak blood? Ruxandra shook her head to herself. She had more class than that and besides, she could wait for a better- no matter how slim the chances were- opportunity. Besides, by now all those bloody-crazy vamps have probably drained every human down to the last drop. She thought to herself.
Ruxandra took a strand of her luxuriously curled chestnut hair and inhaled the lavender and rose scent to distract herself than made her way back to the piano seat. Once again, she started to play from the beginning of the sonata, immersing herself back into the wonderful music while outside, the dark clouds started to sprinkle down the first light tuffs of snow.

Percy finished a goblet that had been filled with seemingly decent blood. Surely the woman was soon to finish her repeatative speech, he could only assume that the other's paid any attention to her because she had brought gifts. Humans to feed upon, giving them a break from having to feed upon their pets. It was ironic that she brought humans to feast upon as she tried to free them from their fates. Still, it kept them from killing her or at least it kept them from asking too many questions.
He glanced over to a single vampire that had his meal on his lap, stroking her cheek then along her neck. The girl seemed terrified, but that could've been from her thin frame and sinking eyes. She looked skeletal with the exception of her bossom. Possibly a slave before, drained slowly of youth as well as blood. The vampire whispered sweet nothings in her ear, nuzzling against her neck every now and then. Color occassionally flooding her cheeks. Didn't that monster know it wasn't polite to play with your food at the dinner table?
His thoughts were interrupted by the soft melody of Beethoven from a different room. 'Ruxundra...' He thought with a smile, closing his eyes and focused on the obstructed tune. They had met one or two times before, but the melodies she played always took him aback. As the annoying woman and the soft gasps cloaked the melody from him, he grew angered.
Finally he stood up, gripping the leash on his lap. Whether it was necessary or not to keep Jacinthe on a leash, he could never be sure. She never seemed to mind following him, but captivity was captivity. If allowed freedom, he wasn't sure if she would stay as his. The possibility wouldn't be offered either way. "Come Jacinthe." He said as he started to lead her out of the dining hall.

Jacinthe had been listening to the strains of music as she dozed, the notes from the piano far more soothing than the droning voice of the Humans' advocate. She was rather glad to see that Mr. Temple agreed and was on her paws the instant he got up to leave. She needed no coaxing; she cared little for the troubles of humanity since she'd had very little to do with the Humans since childhood..
The question of whether or not Jacinthe would escape if the opportunity presented itself is an interesting one. On the one hand, Jacinthe was being provided all of the necessities for what was essentially no cost to herself, as well as relative freedom; her Master brought her with him practically everywhere she went and she was not required to do any chores or labor (for the most part). But on the other hand, she sometimes grew weary of her position as Mr. Temple's 'show pony.' She wanted respect, not just admiration.
The leopard padded silently along at her master's side, her eyes glistening with energy now that they had departed from that boring 'meeting'. From what Jacinthe remembered of Ruxandra (Jacinthe /had/, in fact, met the woman once or twice but had never actually spoken with her), she had never been able to decide if she liked the Vampiress...But then, how was it even fathomable that a Were could take a liking to one of her Vampiric captors? Slavery often bred a sort of underlying mistrust and even resentment in those that suffer from it..

Ruxandra, once again playing, looked distractedly out the open window. Had she been human, she would've been shivering and turning blue from the cold, fierce wind, but instead, her immortal body kept her at a constant warm temperature. For some reason, her nerves felt hyper and on-end, though it shouldn't have surprised her. Except for playing the piano and the occasional stroll through the castle or surrounding forest, Ruxandra hardly did anything else and mingled with the other vampires even less. She wasn't anti-social, far from it actually, but she just felt too much like an outsider, only having lived there for about 20 years or so, which definitely made her a newcomer.
As the song came to an end, Ruxandra got that tingly, warm feeling in her long dead heart that she always got at the end of a nicely played song. She immediately delved into a Mozart Sonata, her fingers flying across the keys with ease as her mind simply recalled all the right notes after having the songs hundreds of times (literally) before. Ruxandra played differently this time though, putting less of her heart into it. Her mind fluttered all over the place, thinking about random thoughts and somehow settling back on the issue of the human meals. She felt a slight pity for the human girls; many of the male vampires liked to "play with their food" before draining them of their blood and it wasn't a sight that she liked to see.
Overhead, the glass dome that covered the top of the large room that Ruxandra's piano was in was starting to pile up with small mounds of white snow. She sighed and whispered out loud, "I guess I won't be able to see the stars tonight......" Ruxandra loved to look at the stars. Not only were they beautiful, but, like her, would be there forever, always in the sky. Well, at least until they explode and become black holes. Ruxandra smiled a little- not in a dark, weird way- but more out of pity for the doomed stars. Ugh...Why am I thinking about all this stuff? I really need to get out more...

Percy stood in the oak door way, fascinated with how the melodies seemed to seep from Ruxandra's delicate fingers. She herself was a prize to behold, gorgeous and powerless, like an exotic flower. He had, once or twice, thought about making her his out of sheer greed, but what he would do with her he wasn't sure. The lavender and rose drifted over to his nose, and cleansing the tempting scent of fresh blood from several doors down. It was peaceful in a way while still being tempting. His hand reached down and stroked Jacinthe's ear once again, while he watched Ruxandra.
He would allow Jacinthe out of the collar every now and then. But only when he was the only one around. He provided her with her own bed or pillow depending on what form she chose to sleep in that night in his large bedroom along with food and even a companion once or twice, but he never demanded anything more than her obedience and beauty. Never had he asked her to sleep in his bed with him, nor kiss the top of his hand. However, the idea of his servant being something more had passed his mind once or twice. After all, no sane man could pass up something so tempting.
'I guess I won't be able to see the stars tonight..' Her voice echoed along with the sonata, a hint of sadness lingering in the air.
"The stars may be beautiful, but the snow in all it's glory holds more similarity to our kind. Peaceful yet powerful enough to kill, reflectant of everything that passes through it. Blood stains it, history marks it, and then when the sun hits it frozen body... it is destroyed. But in the night it thrives along with coldness that follows." His voice was deep, luxurious with age. Every 'T' was pronounced and noticable while the 'R's rolled off his tongue. He was leaning against the door frame watching only her.

Though there wasn't much, if any, affection between Percy and herself, Jacinthe could not help but bristle slightly whenever another female was within range. Perhaps it was her human nature or simply her femininity, but jealousy was definately a facet of her complex being. Not to mention, Jacinthe had always assumed that it was her unspoken purpose to defend and protect Mr. Temple should danger rear its ugly head. And what Vampiress didn't reak of danger..?
Jacinthe remained at Percy's side and when he finally opened the door of the room, she stood in front of him and the left slightly, sitting up upon her haunches to listen to the ensuing conversation. There were times when she wished she could speak while in her Were form (for it seemed that it was as a snow leopard that Mr. Temple often wanted her to appear while in public); but her beast form had its advantages as well. It made others forget that she could understand what they were saying and sometimes clouded their judgement when it came to discussing private (i.e. interesting) matters in front of her.
Her silver eyes were fixed upon the Vampiress, her tail curled around her. The leopard was eerily still as she watched the two Vampires...

Ruxandra jumped a little in her seat; she'd been so distracted that she hadn't heard anyone approach the door. She turned around to see a handsome, dark haired guy standing in the doorway. He looked vaguely familiar...Ruxandra remembered passing him a few times in the hall, but didn't know him well enough to even know his name. Ruxandra couldn't help but notice that he had a really nice voice...She mentally slapped herself than said, in response in a soft, melodic voice,"I suppose you're right...but...the stars are always there in the sky, watching over us..." A faint shadow of a smile made it's way up Ruxandra's face. In all honestly, she really had no clue at all what she was talking about.
Ruxandra glanced out the window before saying, "I'm Ruxandra." That's when she noticed the beautiful snow leopard next to the unnamed man with a silver collar around it. A were- snow leopard. Wow. Her curiosity was instantly flared. Should I ask what it's/her/his name it? Or is that rude? The topic of were-pets was a little...touchy. Act like you cared too much about them then other vampires would shun you, but for Ruxandra, it was rather hard to think of them as pets when she fully knew that they were also people. So instead, she merely gazed with a curious look on her face at the leopard.

A smile played at the corners of Percy's lips as the girl jumped at his voice, his finger's idely combing through Jacinthe's fur. The domed room amplified their softest whispers while accenting the abrupt halt of music. She seemed a little flustered at his sudden appearance, which was completely fine by him. He enjoyed being the attention of a lovely woman's eye. "I know who you are, Ruxandra." He said adding a heavier tone to his voice when he said her name. "I am Percy Temple. We've met before if you don't recall." He followed her gaze onto Jacinthe, "And this is my beautiful companion, Jacinthe Marie Addison." His eyes didn't flicker with dishonesty as he said the word 'companion'. If the other vampires flicked him accusing looks from afar because of his relation with his pet, than so be it. He wasn't going to hide it from them.

Jacinthe continued to watch Ruxandra as the woman exchanged words with her Master, her body still until Mr. Temple introduced her as his 'companion.' As if to add emphasis to the introduction, the snow leopard stood up and circled behind Percy until she stood at his right side, her tail swaying ever so slightly as she did so. She could not speak, so there was no need to emphasize 'pleasure' for being introduced (not that there really was any pleasure in meeting yet another Vampire; Jacinthe didn't really care for the breed, despite the decency by which her Master treated her)..

Ruxandra smiled and said, "No, I don't recall, but it's nice to meet you." She looked at Jacinthe and tired to look as friendly as possible, "And it's nice to meet you too." Ruxandra stood up and walked over to the two in a graceful and elegant manner. The snow leopard was just so pretty. She wanted to pet it, but wasn't sure if she would bite her hand off. "Um....may I?" She stood with her pale hand out, asking permission from both Percy and Jacinthe. Ruxandra had never been around a were-animal before, though she knew all too much from the stories that the other vampires would, too often, tell. But now as she looked at the docile and sweet creature, it was almost impossible to believe that they were "treacherous and evil."
OOC: Sorry it's short >.< I have to get off soon. Btw, am I allowed to have another character? (:

OOC: Yes. You are allowed two main characters. I suppose I should list that in the rules somewhere. x_X Haha. But you can have as many minor characters as you like (Characters that won't/don't need a profile)
Percy smiled as the woman approached him. Perhaps he could attempt to 'woo' the woman into being his. Such beauty begged to be adorned by more beauty, did it not? As she glided over the tiled floor her eyes seemed to be transfixed on Jacinthe, however. He couldn't blame her, the snow leopard was gorgeous just like he, in both beast and human form. His hand rested atop the leopard's head after she had paced around him to sit on his other side.
When Ruxandra asked if she could pet Jacinthe, his smile widened. "You would have to ask her permission. Not mine. As she sits on the end of my leash I cannot control all of her actions, she is a powerful animal as well as a angelic one to gaze upon."

Jacinthe continued to listen to the exchange, a little surprised at where the conversation was leading. The Vampiress wished to...pet her? Jacinthe was taken aback by the suggestion. True, Mr. Temple petted her and stroked her head quite frequently whenever she took her leopard form, but to think that a Vampire besides her Master would dain to touch her? It was practically unheard of! And besides, except where Mr. Temple was concerned, Jacinthe did not think of herself as a mere pet..
But to allow herself to be touched by other Vampires might help her Master's social standing (making friends never hurt anybody, right?), and ultimately please him, she supposed. Though demeaning, perhaps it was best for all involved that she overlook the girl's unintentional breach of etiquette, Jacinthe mused...
That decided, the snow leopard stood and took a step or two toward Ruxandra, the silver chain clinking as it dragged the floor behind her, before sitting back upon her haunches. Her strong, silver gaze didn't break for an instant as she watched the girl carefully. After a moment or two, however, she turned her flat head to one side, her ears perked in a rather nonchalant manner to either side of her head (a sign of indifference) as she looked around the room. Ruxandra could consider the act an invitation of sorts to touch her..

Ruxandra looked down at the graceful creature and gently petted it's head. A silence filled the air and Ruxandra couldn't help but think, Well...this is...awkward... She retracted her hand back. Out of habit, she began to fiddle with the single necklace dangling from her pale neck- the only possession that she had kept from her human life. It was made from white gold and had pretty blue crystals embedded into the surface. Ruxandra bit down slightly on her lower lip, scrambling for something to talk about. She hadn't really had that many conversations in a long time, and therefore her social abilities seemed to have dwindled.
Ruxandra smiled softly as Jacinthe before asking Percy, "So what brings you to this empty part of the castle? I was under the impression that everyone else was busy...'eating.' " As if in response to her own question, a small tingly and uncomfortable sensation erupted in her throat- no doubt she'd have to feed again soon since it'd been quite awhile since Ruxandra had come across any decent humans. Ruxandra was always picky because her conscience became guilty too easily. She always avoided children, mothers, etc., and targeted criminals who really weren't much use to the world, but still. As the other vampires tended to say, Ruxandra has to much...compassion for a vampiress.

A smile tweaked at the corner of his lips, making his eyes twinkle slightly. She made this far to easy, "The sounds of Beethoven led me here. Your melodies were too tempting to remain in a dull room with a mass of feasting animals. Besides, I find their blood to be rather bland. Like watered down wine." His moved his hand towards his lips and looked up at the domed glass ceiling which was now almost completely covered. He crossed the other arm around his abdomen as he created the facade of him zoning out.
His cool eyes turned back to Ruxundra, "Why are you here all alone, Ruxundra?" The 'R's in her name rolled off his tongue, and brought another smile to his face. His eyes glanced down at Jacinthe as the hand that waited at his abdomen reached behind her ear once again, to lightly scratch it. "There is a piano, yes. But it is cold and a woman such as yourself deserves a fire and a warm glass of blood."
If she refused his offer, then there was no loss tonight. He would try again tomorrow. She would be a challenge, and it would just make him want her more.
