Cindy looks up at the man "No, I didn't everyone seemed resolved in their daily hustle and bustle. Why?" Her eyebrow raised a little with curiousity.

Alex seeing some customers pour in decided to get back to her job. She grabed two menus and looked between the two customers trying to figure out who to approch first.

Garrett exhaled, then grinned. "No reason, no reason at all," he said, easing his tensed muscles. If he told her anything, he was certain that there would immediately be someone suspicious right around the corner looking for him. That was the way his life was these days. He'd figured out the game. "Just... ah... you know. If there's someone suspicious out there, we should call the police or something," he added, immediately regretting it. He winced as the words came out of his mouth.

alex making up her mind on who to approch first. She walked over to Garrett and placed a menu infront of him."Hello I'm Alex I'll be your server today."She said with a smile.

Garrett went immediately from one extreme to another when he was approached by his server. "Well," he said, raising an eyebrow. "Hello there." He grinned mischievously, taking the menu and pushing it aside. "Tell me, how are you doing today?"

ashley sat beside garett not really noticing him she was to buys looking at the help wanted postings "no cant do that nope kicked out of their." she was trying not to look to desprate but was failing since she was desprate for some kind of work "well damn." she placed the newspaper on the counter and sighed "not a single thing i can do."

Garrett was startled by the action of someone sitting next to him, but immediately relaxed. His paranoia was getting to him, he was certain. This girl couldn't be much older than sixteen, if that. He listened to her babble for a moment. "Um... pardon my intrusion," he said with a well-practiced politeness. "What are you doing?"

"I'm doing fine but I would be even better if you ordered something."She said"So what would you like to order first."

"Tell me," he said to his server, Alex. "Do you have anything... alcoholic on the menu?" He highly doubted it. This didn't look like the kind of place that served martinis to him. "If not, I'll just have coffee," he added, dropping his smile like a pan out of the oven.

"well I could put a shot of irish cream in your coffee would that work."She said as she took Garrett's order.

Garrett smiled. "That'd be great," he said. Works every time, he thought narcissistically. He wasn't sure exactly what had worked or why, but he was positively certain that it was his own doing. Perhaps his smile. Or his overall charm...

Alex Having taken her order and having been a little creeped out. She walks over towards the coffe machine pours a half cup of coffe then fills it the rest of the way with irish cream. When shes done she head back over toward Garrett and places the coffe cup down in front of him."Will that be all for now or would you like to order somthing to eat."she asks

"Thank you." Kali said as her tea was set down. She took a few sips and continued to look at the menu for a little bit longer before deciding on getting anything else.

"No, nothing for now," he said, taking the cup. "Thank you," he said. He lifted the cup in the air as if to say "cheers" at took a sip. Irish cream was never his drink of choice: it didn't have enough to even give him a slight buzz, let alone allow him to reach the levels of inebriation that he so often desired. Oh well, it was at least something. He'd been sober for far too long in his opinion. Far, far too long. He needed a bar, but this was the closest thing to a bar he was going to get at this point.

"So," he began before she left his table. "Alex, was it?"

"Ok"She said but before she could make a fast get away Garrett spoke up.She replied"Yep thats my name don't wear it out."

"I'll try not to," Garrett said, his smile wearing down into a slightly perturbed smirk. He could sense that he made her uncomfortable. It was just because she didn't know him yet, he surmised. "So tell me," he said, falling back into the habit of looking over his shoulder. "How long have you been working here?" He was a little desperate for conversation, and it was obvious by the sound of his voice.

"uh hmmm lets see I was here before Richard but not before Isabella and Devlin."She cocked her head to the side and rubbed her chin"So I guess I've been her for a while."

"Good, good," he said. He could feel the irish cream hit him. Well, it didn't exactly hit him... it wasn't that kind of alcohol, and not nearly enough. It just sort of slowly spread warmth from his core out to his fingertips and nose. He was slightly calmer now. "Tell me something, Alex," he said. "Do you drink?"

Selene entered the cafe and looked around with a smile on her face. She thought, 'What a lovely place!'

Sorin entered the cafe after her and gave it the once over, thinking, 'What a dive!'

"No, I do not in fact I don't really see the point in it at all."She answered hearing the door open called out"I'll be with you in a minute sit where ever you want."

"Mhmm, the police should be notified if there is anything suspicious" Cindy nodded at him. Cindy puts her phone out on the table so she can see it vibrating if it rings, or to call the cops...whichever one it maybe.

She took a long sip of her root beer float and nodded after Alex noted that she could handle the customers. "Tend to do what? Oversleep? Hell no!" she exclaimed to Richard. She smiled when she saw the boss enter the room. "Hello Ms. Cookie, how are you today?" Isabella asked. She looked toward the door and saw more people entering. "Shoot! I have to get back to my post." she gasped, but since the new customers had already entered, she decided to bring a menu to them. Starting back towards her podium, she greeted. "Good afternoon and welcome to the Wallflower Cafe. Would you like a seat at a booth, table, or counter?"

Devlin greeted their boss as well. "Would you like one of my specialty caramel lattes?" he offered. "You look like you need a little pick me up, ma'am." He was wiping some of the glassware with a bar towel. He smiled, a little strained because today he couldn't quite tell what Ms. Cookie's mood was. To Richard, he shrugged. "We had a bit of a fight last night but we made up, as far as I could tell," he chuckled, once Isabella was out of earshot.

Alex having forgotten her other costumer. she head over to Cindy and placed a menu in front of her."Sorry for the wait. What can I get you to drink?"she said smiling
