That's true; I enjoyed the sparkle of the earrings with the background.

I wonder if Menewsha could release some sort of...well, less obtrusive backgrounds? As silly as it sounds, and almost defeating the purpose of backgrounds, but there has to be some sort of item that can slip right behind the avatar to make the subtle colours and embellishments pop. For instance, the earrings. And you could make the hair longer, but it wouldn't look as clever as that particular hairstyle.

And I'm starting to go blind it's so late.

Actually, I suppose thats not really true. I know quite a few people that are rather in love with themselves, and find anything that they do to be astounding (i.e. vain). Oi. I prefer when people are inbetween, though. I know what you mean, lol. I can almost always find something wrong with my avatars and other things in life. But, as you said, it's best to be inbetween. (: I think after awhile, if I see others liking something that I was really hard on myself on, I slowly let up on it and start liking it more. It just happens...very slowly. XD

I'm going to edit my avi for the different ideas that I had, and can you guys see which one of these looks best to you? I think i'll leave the arm layering as is. But I am curious about the background, because I enjoy how it makes the earrings stand out. But I also like it plain. :/

I like the smokey bg instead of the others if you really want a bg. The other bg's look too random and just ew. D:

I like the second one Suona, or the last one.

The first one I think is good for color, but makes the whole thing really dark. But it also makes me think that she's like out sneaking around at night.

Second, I dont like. But I was testing with the dark behind the head

Third, I have no idea with the border, but I also wanted to just check since it does match with the silvers.

Fourth, I think it blinds well and I like how it stands out, but it is completely random otherwise

Fifth, I like how it kind of adds to the theme, and how it makes her look a little taller (others make her look a little more squished, I think). But it also is like BAM white!
