I used to always read the last paragraph or so of a book that I was reading. It was an incredibly hard habit to break... But I'm glad I did. ^^;

I do that sometimes. Like just if i'm overly curious. You'd think it would ruin it, but for me, it just makes me want to read it even more. Because I want to see how it gets to what the ending is.

I usually read the very last sentence. Sometimes it does nothing for me either way, sometimes it spoils the book, and sometimes it sets the mood for the book soo perfectly. It's a gamble but I find it usually pays out.

Well, I guess so yes, I always read the last page so I have an idea on the plot and how things pan out, it also gives me an idea on whether or not I will enhoy the books.

Sometimes i do, at least just the last sentence to give me a feel on how it will end. When i really really enjoy the book it's hard not to and my fingers and eyes just obey me when i tell them i don't want to read past where i am...but they don't listen, guess they locked my ears in the closet. ^^;

I read the first chapter to see if it is good or not. The back telling me a brief summary isn't going to cut it. I need to read the couple first chapter to see if it is good. I don't see how reading the back is a good thing. I just think reading the back is too much exposure. D: I don't want to know Jimmy died in one chapter and then not know who Jimmy is. Do you get what I am saying? I just like reading the first chapter and if it is good I will know. :) I usually finish my books because I always read the first chapter. ^^

I don't. I'm worried it will spoil something, since I like reading mystery and thriller books.

I also want to become a writer, so I plan to always make the last sentence of a book a non-spoiler, so that people that do that don't have the ending ruined.

Though if you read the whole last chapter first, then you will defiantly have my book spoiled.

No, I can't or else the ending isn't as exciting to me.
I don't want a book to be spoiled, or make the ending less special when I finish reading it.

I don't think I have ever read the end first. I have read the first few pages or chapters and then skip to the very end. However, I haven't done that in a long time.

Never.

It ruins the book.

I know a book will be good if the writing is good. I prefer first person and the font has to be certain way. If I can read it without it burning my eyes and confusing me, I'm a-okay.

Sure, some people read books and rate them.

I read books to learn and get inspiration, I don't really care if they're good or not.

So no, I read the entire book and then the ending makes sense.

Absolutely! Especially with a brand new author that I've never read before. I like to know that they are creative enought o have an interesting ending. If the ending has interest in it then naturally something the author was creative enough to have told the path to reaching that end if a bit of interest to it as well.

i never, ever, ever read the end of a book first. if i want to know what a book is about before i read it, i check the book jacket or look it up online or try to get someone to tell me a very rough synopsis. can't even imagine reading the end first. i just love surprises too much.

I do that in mystery novels if its okay. If it's super-good, then I don't. If I start to get bored with a book, I flip to the last chapter and read it.

Wow, I've never done this... I wouldn't want to...
Sometimes I'll google or look on goodreads.com reviews since they mark them as spoilers when they contain spoilers.

I never read the ending, because I don't like to spoil anything. If I read ahead, usually I end up ruining something important, and then the book isn't nearly as exciting as it was when I didn't read ahead.

i never read the end of a book until i reach it. i hate spoiling the ending, no matter how much i wanna know what happens. i have enough trouble keeping my eyes from skipping ahead a few paragraphs.

I usually find myself flipping through the book looking at how many chapters there are and the very very last word on the very last sentence of the book! lol.
I don't know why, but I like seeing the very last word of the book.
sometimes it ends in
'Through'
or
'distance'
or
'away'

or words like that, and it just makes me think more about how it will end.
I hate spoiling the ending of books though (or any part of the book for that matter), I find that it ruins the book and I get really disappointed, sometimes I can't even finish the book.

Even for shows and movies.
I watched a full series of an anime and was on the very last episode when someone spoiled the ending for me and I never finished watching the show.
I've always regretted it but when I go to watch it, I remember that someone spoiled it for me, so I don't watch it.

i couldn't do that cause i would lose interest in the book if i knew what was going to happen but i have when given the moment browsed forward to make sure that my favorite character was still an active part in the book. although i was seriously disappointed to find that they had died in those pages i still hadnt read. Kinda sucked knowing through all those pages that when i hit that spot he would be no more.

I never read the ending first.
Ever.
That ruins the book for me.
I hate when books are ruined.
That's exactly why I read popular books (that I like) when I get them.
I don't want things to be ruined for me.
Like Harry Potter.

Never. That wrecks stories for me. I just can't experience them the same way.
I only skipped to the end once, in Dracula. I knew I wouldn't have time to finish it, and I wanted see if they managed to kill him or not.
