I'm 17 and I've never had a boyfriend...
but there is this guy I really really like. I just can't stop thinking about him and all that jazz.
Anyway, on my grad cruise I introduced this guy to one of my friends and then suddenly they hit it off like there's no tomorrow. They aren't 'together' yet but this friend totally has the hots for him and now I'm beginning to realize that if I don't do something soon, he's not going to be single for very much longer.
I know I'm jealous or something, I just... I really like him a lot and I don't know what to do.
My friends have said that they can tell that he likes me too, and at first I thought so as well, now I'm not so sure... I think he has begun to like this girl more than me... they have barely known each other for a month! I've known him for two years!

What do I do? I am probably one of the most clueless person you'll ever hear of when it comes to love.
-sigh-
So what I'm trying to ask is... can someone give me some tips on hooking up with a guy? What do I have to do to 'make the first move'?

oh. and can someone explain what flirting is to me? I've looked up the definition and it just doesn't make sense. People tell me I should 'flirt shamelessly' ... that info doesn't make sense to me. I'm hopeless...

Well Halloween is coming up, so why don't you invite him to do something. Go to one of those "Haunted Houses" scare events. If you're embarrassed or too shy to go alone with him, invite a friend, so it's more friendlier.

That was my first "date" when I liked a guy, I invited him to this event called the Haunted Trail but I invited a friend, so it was nothing too fast.

Or, you can do a kiddie run, have a nice random trick or treating just for fun and act like doofs. That way you can show your true colors while having fun and running around.

Things like that, which are moving foward but keeping it fun.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I think that would work as well, since I have never actually gone out to do something with him besides school related stuff and I really want to.
Thank you very much for your advice, I'll make an effort force myself to try it out... I'm really shy..

That's why you invite close friends, friends who won't develop feelings toward him. Neutral people with you, if you're really shy. They'll be your support buddy and make you feel more comfortable.

I know the asking part is nerve-wrecking, but you hafta take that first step. Good Luck! :B

I agree with Flowery Pit!
The Halloween Event is a good way to get both of you to open up to each other!
I recommend he invite a friend and you invite a friend to come along
although I'm iffy on inviting the friend who likes him..

You should probably talk to her
and ask her whether she has feelings for him as well.
If she does, then promise each other to not hurt each other
in order to be with him.
Friends are forever.
So make this a clean and fair chase for love.

Good luck! ;)
