This is a Wolf's Rain and The Sight/Fell cross-over.
________________________________________
"No, Larka," Kar whispered as he watched his brother go. "I won't tell you a story of Wolfbane."
The cubs started to grumble.
"But I will tell you a better story."
The children looked up happily.
"It was when Tor, the Varg goddess, mated with the great god Fenris and their mating first brought forth the earth."
Kar paused and his eyes twinkled. "Before they had made the waters and the forests or the Lera to roam in them. Before they had made Dammam and Va who gave birth to Fren, who slew his brother Barl and made all Lera forgetful. Before they had made Man, the strangest Lera of them all. Before they did any of this they, they looked out on the universe and they were glad at what they saw."
"Why, Uncle Kar?" cried the cubs. "What was that?"
"Why that was the stars, my little ones," growled Kar, throwing up his proud eyes to the endless heavens. "For in the beginning there was light."
________________________________________
A decade or so before the beginning of Wolf's Rain, a new wolf appears among the local wolves of Freeze City. Somehow she doesn't know how to gain a human form, but still manages to. She speaks of things to come and a power called the 'Sight'. Most wolf's illusions make them look different from their true forms, but this one looks like her true form.
Strange things are beginning to happen. She speaks to animals that are not wolves or humans. She looks through the eyes of birds and sees the future through water. Many are beginning to fear her and wish for her death, and yet she wonders through the city, continuing to attempt to find friendship and a new place to call home. What fate will she play in a war she says is about to come?

Name: Larka
Age: 18
Species: Varg (wolf)
Personality: Calm, serene, and idealistic. Anything else will be revealed in the RP.
Description: When she first appears: [x] When she gets her hair accidentally cut off (and her outfit): [x]
Wolf form: The one white one (she's surrounded by Fell, her brother ((the black wolf)) and Kar, the wolf she might've mated with ((the grey one)))
History: (DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE ANY INTENTION OF READING 'The Sight' BY DAVID CLEMENT-DAVIES!!!!) Larka was born with Fell and two other still born cubs in the grip of winter in Transylvania. Her mother, Palla, and her father, Huttser, along with their pack was being chased by the Balkar, a group of draggas (alpha males) led by a drappa (alpha female) by the name of Morgra. Morgra was Palla's sister.
As Larka and Fell grew Palla's brother, Skop, joined the pack as well as a cub from a slain dragga and drappa. His name was Kar. Soon, Larka began to show signs of something all wolves feared: the Sight. Morgra, herself, had the Sight, but a prophecy spoke of a white she-wolf that would have a power far greater than Morgra's.
Finally, Morgra drove the pack from their territory, the Balka right on their heels. Wolves of the pack began to die. First it was Khaz, then Brassa, then Kipcha, then Bran. Finally, it was down to Palla, Huttser, Larka, Fell, and Kar (Skop having left the pack for a group of rebels they had heard of). Then, one night, as they were crossing a frozen river, Fell fell in and was swept away under the ice. Huttser and Palla turned on each other as Larka and Kar fled into the woods.
Larka and Kar traveled for some time, slowly falling in love with each other. Then, as a village hunted them and set the woods on fire, Kar was surrounded by the flames and demanded that Larka run. And run she did.
As she ran, and eagle led her to safety. There she met Tsarr and Jarla. They had stolen a human child to keep it from Morgra. Skart, the eagle, began to teach Larka how to properly use the Sight, and Larka slowly grew to love the child she had affectionately named Bran, after the Sikla that had died to protect the pack.
In the middle of winter, Tsarr, Jarla, Larka and Bran stayed in a cave made of ice and only emerged to hunt, and when the snows melted. But, when they did, some of the rebel pack attacked, aiming to kill the child that the prophecy had spoken of. They, instead, killed Jarla.
Larka then left with Bran and Skart to find the rebel pack and release her parents, who had joined but were now bait. If Larka didn't appear, the leader, Slavka, would have them fight each other to the death.
Larka appeared and stopped the fight. The rebels began to follow her instead of Slavka, and Larka saw through the Sight that Kar was alive.
Then, to find help, she journeyed purgatory, or the Red Meadow. Kar called her back, but not before she saw her brother, Fell.
She, as well as the rebel force, then journeyed to a high mountain, where Larka had foreseen her death. There she became separated from the others except for Kar and Tsarr, but soon she and Kar were separated as well, leaving her only with Tsarr. They climbed an ancient stairway, but they were met with Wolfsbane.
But Wolfsbane turned out to be Fell. He, as well, had the Sight. Larka showed him who he truly was, and they fought against Morgra together.
Morgra, however, had tricked Slavka, and Slavka had given Morgra the baby, Bran. As the rebels and the Balkar fought, Tsarr was killed and his blood stained the alter on which Bran sat. Larka looked through Bran's eyes and everybody atop the high alter saw the truth of the world; that man was a Lera (animal). Morgra and Larka fought then, as Bran and all the others were taken to the other side of a bridge just as the bridge collapsed. Morgra fell to her death and, as Larka jumped to the other side, she too fell and died upon the rocks.
Larka visited Kar and gave him her last goodbye before going past the Red Meadow and beyond.
You can read beyond this point if you want.
When she opened her eyes, she knew a war was to come, and that a place called Paradise would not be opened for a good many years. As she sat up, she realized she was a human! To her surprise, if she concentrated, she could turn into a wolf and back again. Apparently Tor and Fenris had given her one more task before she could rest in peace.

Indrid stopped by town built around the railroad tracks. He walked into a local in and went the resturant. Indrid didn't have much money, but he did have enough to get a sandwich.

Larka stumbled along, wincing as she clutched at her shoulder. Some humans had seen her in her true form and had been more than happy to attempt to butcher her. "Tor, why did you make Man so bloodthirsty?" Larka whispered, turning her head to the skies. Long white hair fell about her and she pushed some of it out of her eyes. It was strange to move like this. It was almost like when she and little Bran-
"No," she muttered, moving along, her left arm clenching and unclenching as she attempted to keep the blood from leaving the shoulder. A tactic she didn't understand, but didn't rightly question. "I won't think of the past... this world is about to start in a war... and I can't let that happen..."
Her foot slipped and she stumbled into something hard that made a loud noise. With a very wolf-like whimper she jumped back, pressing her back against the cool wall behind her. Larka hoped nobody had heard that.

Indrid was eating his sandwich when he looked out the window and saw a woman with long, white hair. She looked to be in pain, and was leaning up against the wall of the inn. Indrid ran outside to check on her. "Excuse me miss, are you ok?" he asked in a concearned voice.

She jumped as a voice came from right next to her. With a screech she felt the skin pull, her clothes rub against her wound.
Larka's legs almost gave out beneath her, but she held herself up using the wall next to her. With a shaky smile she looked up to find a man standing there, a concerned look on his face. "I'm f-fine," she stuttered as her hand clutched where she was bleeding in a fearful grip. "Bu-but thank you for asking."

"Oh no, you are far from fine" Indrid said to Larka. He took off his coat and started tying it around her arm. "You can use this as a turnicat until we get you to a doctor."

Biting down the flinch Larka felt in her bones, she offered him a smile. "Thanks. But no, I'm fine." It was nice of the man, though, to help her out. The word he used, though, confused her. "What's a doctor?" she asked hesitantly as if worried he'd be able to tell what she was simply by the way she spoke.

"A healer!" Larka cried, happy that she could connect something from Man's world to her own. Not many packs had one, and most were only nurses for pups since the most they could do was watch over a hurt wolf and lick their wounds. How was it possible that there was one in this village?
"Do you know where one is?" she asked, her shoulders relaxing. Maybe this man was like her-a wolf but yet not a wolf. A Man-Varg.

"Larka," she automatically replied, a smile forcing its way forward. She hadn't spoken to anyone, really spoken, since she came to this world. "It's a pleasure to meet you. But I don't understand-what's a cross?"

Indrid didn't exactly know how to explain. "Well, some people worship it. To them, it's a symbol of good and hope." Indrid saw a hospital down the street. "There's a hospital right just down the road. Don't worry, your going to be alright."
