I'm gonna see it, just to see how it turns out, if they even make it. But Zac Effron as Light? I dunno how I feel about that. I mean I don't hate him or anything. I thought he was pretty good in 17 Again. I wonder who will play L. That's my concern.... L is my favorite. :D

I hope he isn't. Read an article on crunchyroll, but I really don't think anyone fresh off a disney cast could take on this kind of role.

As for those who are rooting for Johnny Depp, sorry, but he is just a tad bit too old (as sexy and amazing of an actor he is). I believe he's in his forties now and Light enters college in the manga. Don't think it would be quite accurate there.

oh geezz..i heard about that....>< to be honset, I think Zac is the worst choice...I mean..out of all people, it has to be the High School Musical guy....i doubt his happy-go-lucky acting will go with this dark story and character of Light. >< But I wonder who will play as L. I hope someone good because I love L @[email protected] in general, I'm not so sure that making an American Death Note movie is a good idea. I'm scared that they'll create it the same way as they did for DBZ. God that live action movie was horrible. So that's my fear when it come to the American Death Note movie. Pleas do not kill this great anime series American filmmakers...><
