I think we americans are the only ones who call it soccer.

no youre not the only people that call it that anyway soccer was orignally an english word to tell the difference between football and rugby football.

Really? I didnt know that. At least I can check "Learn something new" off my to-do list for today. (Although when I go to work later I am sure my boss will decide to educate me on all the screw-ups I make. He seems to enjoy proving how wrong I am all the time:) ) So dumb question, what is the difference between football and rugby football?

Rugby football is like American Football... Rugby was an english sport know as Rugby Football as the sport grew it branched off into two different sports The first being Austrialian rules football the second being American Football.

Both Auzzy rules and Amercian adapted the own rule set to the sport but the started as branch outs from Rugby Football now normally just called Rugby. But yeah that the reason them to spots have football in the name.

ah, playing ff9 aswell. I beat the first disk, havnt started the second yet been busy with going out and my friend being around. Spent 3 hours this afternoon playing Nascar 09. I have a season on it going with 100% race lenghts turned on. God its a hard game playing full races.
