I've been exploring with different styles over the years, and here's my latest one.
I'd appreciate honest opinions. What do you like or don't like about it?
I'm thinking of selling this style for RL commissions. Maybe hold auctions for it in the future for non-RL currency.

I really like it! You're right, shading under the fingers, and maybe a little where the stem of the pumpkin meets the fruit, but other then that, it looks really good! I love the coloring, all dark and spooky, except for the bright pumpkin and the character's face.

It's absolutely adorable! The pumpkin is fantastic, I love the curl in the stem. The spider and cross look fantastic. My favorite thing must be the white and black stripes and the checker patters. :)

It's very cute, I like what you have done with the shading. Alhough it is a little difficult to tell where the light sorce is, the sading on the arm doesn't seem to match up with the rest of the body...

@Kurihitori: . o. The what on the arm? whats the sading?
:] and it's actually pretty easy to tell where the light source is coming from. Look at the highlight on the hair, hitting the left side. The pumpkin also has the light leaning on the left side, although it is more spread because it is round. The highlight on the left side of the cheek too. The light also hits most of the front of the clothing since the body is angled facing the left.
Lastly, the shadows are all aiming and leaning towards the right, as it would when the light source is indeed coming from the left ^ ^

Yes, I'll give you that ^ ^ I wasn't very precise or professional with the lighting of the arm itself.

This style is really cute! I feel that every time I draw something it turns out having a different style! XD

I love the coloring you did! The shades are spot on and the theme is awesome! Solid anatomy on the character and the whole piece just seems fun! I think it's great!!

Lovely art. As you said, it could use some shading under the fingers and perhaps a little on the stockings, where they just come out from under the skirt, but further I really love it. :)

Yea D: Imma go back into it and add those shadows. I'm working on another piece using this same style. It's for a contest, so time is limited. So as soon as I'm done with that. I was debating if I should touch the stockings and add shadow. o 3o I guess I will.

The style looks great, I think you would get alot of comishes ( spelt it wrong I know... XD ) It very nice, smooth and cartoon like. I think the only thing I would suggest is to shade white and black ( like on the socks ) I think the only whites and blacks you wouldn't need to shade are around the eyes and mouth, if you know what I mean. :)
