Are you sure that it wasn't -7a instead -17a? Because if it was -7a, then the answer would be (2a +9)(a-1).

No, it was -17a. You have to do that whole grouping thing.

I'm starting to get it, kinda. You're supposed to take the first factor times the last factor to get a new answer.

for ex: 7a^2+20a-3 - You take the 7 x -3 = -21. Then take the 21 - 1 = 20.
|| Its something about the understood 1 and -1.

You then change the equation to 7a^2+21a-a+3 and it comes out as 7a(a+3) - (a+3) and that goes to (7a-1) (a+3)

and thats the answer. xDD

Yep, that was it. :3 You got it. I went ahead and screwed up the problem for that answer and changed it to a "similar problem". For our online math we're using coursecompass.com, and it lets you change problems if you can't get it. xD

I really dont care to ever dye it. I can see that other people do, but it just doesn't interest me. I feel like doing so would change who I am. Just like how I won't wear make-up.

My hair is very thick.
I shed a lot too, and my hair is still super thick. =.=

I have a lot of friends that really enjoying dying their hair
One has pink hair, one had purple, but now its black, one has had every color that I can think of (orange, green, red, blue, purple, pink), and another one has bleached her hair and dyed it black. And, actually, most of the ones that dye their hair dont really wear much make-up. :] Its just my best friend (whom is reeeally vain) that wears the most make-up.

I have really thick hair too. ^^
When I put my hair into two-braids, one braid is over twice as much as any of my friends have. O_o They always say they want to steal my hair because I have plenty to spare. T^T I'm not much of a shedder, though. Just when I brush out my hair.

Mine is teal, and the dye is still clinging to me like crazy, since I bleached it beforehand.
So if I shed hair in the sink, etc, the dye will leak out of the hair and leave a bright turquoise mark. ._.
It wasn't like that when I had purple hair, though. D:

Ahhh ~ autumn colored. I have strawberryish blondish brown. D: I want white hair though...but the process is just so @#$#!! if you don't get it professionally done.

Well thats okay since its your personal preference. :) But it really doesn't change who you are if you enhance your face with a lil make-up or dye your hair. Its just like playing dress-up, which is fun.

Ohohohohoho! You can torture guys with it! Make'em dress up like a girl! :rofl: Did it to Chris R during Halloween. We made him wear a pink mini skirt and got some make-up on him. XD He was the ugliest girl I ever saw!

@ Monstahh; Omg... -_-; I hate thick hair! I got it from my moms side of the family. Hispanics always have corse thick hair, its ridiculous. I mean, it means you won't go bald but @$*%! >3<; Mine falls out like, uh, um... cat hair? XD I can't really find the detail for it.
