I have poor bladder control. If I laugh really hard, get frightened, and when I sleep, I'll "wet" myself. And its not just a little trickle, its like, "gotta go like a race horse, oops" type of wet myself. so I have to wear diapers if I go to the movies and when I sleep. This has always happened to me and I'm kinda used to it. lately though, its been getting worse. I'll just "wet" myself for no reason, and its gotten to the point where I have to wear diapers just about every day now. I don't like, it makes me feel like I should be laying in a crib, drinking warm milk from my "baba" or sucking on my "binki" instead of going out and hanging out with my friends. and to make things worse, on top of everything I've also got an overactive bladder, so now I'm wetting myself constantly. does anyone else have a problem with bladder control?

This should probably be in the Life Issues or at least General Discussions thread

yea this belongs in general discussion or life issues. However on the subject at hand.
I don't face those issues personally but my sister and cousin have. I would recommend speaking with a urologist about the problem. they may have medication you could take to help with that. also limiting your water consumption to when you are at home and not out and about may help with the issue slightly.

I've tried drinking less when I'm not at home, the problem with that is that I try to be away from home as little as possible, mainly cause of my little brother, and I have to drink when I'm not home.
and is there any way I can move this thread?

the mods will get it, just report it and explain the situation.
Go see a doctor about it, they can give you medication to help with that.

I advise you to see a urologist. They have pills for this sort of problem, and you probably also have some muscle issues down there that could be resolved by physical therapy or kegels. I would actually recommend doing kegels on the regular to strengthen the muscles down there so that you're not likely to "leak" when you sneeze or laugh.

That sucks. I don't have that kind of problem but I do have friends with tiny bladders. They have to pee like once an hour

I agree with sizzla. I don't remember which magazine I read this in (it was something like SELF) but there ARE exercises that can help with things like that. hope things go well for you!

Try "Kegel" exercise.
It not only helps you control your muscles for using the ladies room better, but...
XD Oh just google it. I'm sure it will help!

As others have said, Kegels (or pelvic floor muscle exercises) can really help.
Next time you go to the bathroom, try to stop and start mid-flow when you pee. That's basically a Kegel. Once you can feel where those muscles are, you can do Kegels anywhere, just by tensing and relaxing those muscles.
I do them when I'm watching TV or just sat on the bus!

I can't stop in mid-flow, when I'm going, I can't stop at all, I can't even hold it at all anymore. its official, I have gone from poor bladder control to absolutely zero bladder control, and I'm checking into that kegels thing now. I feel horrible, like a giant baby

You are not a "horrible, (sic) giant baby" There is something wrong down there. If you don't want, or can not afford to go to a specialist, go see your regular doctor and talk to him. You may very well need some meds to help you out as you improve muscle tone.

I guess I'll have to go see my doctor about it, as soon as I can, but I'm kinda broke, so it may take some time before I can. I had to stay home from school today cause I ran out of diapers. it sucks
