Bio: Dresdus is the leader of the Blood pack. He despises humans and wants nothing to do with them, but they keep enrouching into his world. His main goal is to get the other packs together and force the humans out of their world. But if a fellow wolf stands in his way, he will not hesitate to kill it.

Bio: Frost has been raised as a fighter. She has been through many battles and has stayed by her pack leaders side. She uses her brain and wits to win her battles. She doesn't like to fight to be honest but if she must she will fight to the death to protect her pack. Unlike the other wolfs Frost acts as peacekeeper between the humans and other wolf packs.

Dresdus awoke from his slumber. He looked over and saw Frost laying next to him. She was his alpha female, and mate for life. Dresdus licked her gently on the face. "Good morning my love."

Frost open her eyes as she felt Dresdu's wet tong on her muzzle. She got to her feet after she stretched and licked him back as she nuzzled him. "Good morning love how did you sleep." She looked about their den to make sure nothing had joined them in the night. She was happy to see nothing out of place in their cool dirt den.

"Very well as always." Dresdus stood up and sniffed the air. "I smell an elk nearby. It has been awhile since the pack has eaten. Let's go out on the hunt."

Frost grinned as her eyes widen. She nuzzled him then made her way from the den. She liked to feel the ground under her paws as she stud outside of their den and waited for Dresdus. She closed her eyes as she lifted her nose in the air and smelt the Elk. She couldn't wait to hunt with her mate. She loved to hunt almost as much as she loved him.

Dresdus and Frost took off into the woods. after awhile, they came across the elk. "I'll take him fro the right, you take him from the left."

Frost made her movements quick and stealthy as she moved. She waited till Dresdus was ready to attack then lunged at the Elk. She aimed for it's leg as she griped it's leg with her teeth braking it with one movement of her head.

When the elk wason the ground, Dresdus charged in and grabbed it by the throat. He snapped it's neck to finish it off. "Come, let's bring this back to the den for the rest of the pack. Only after we've had our fill of course."

Frost grinned then began to pull the Elk by it's newly broke leg. She stopped just outside of their den as she sat on the cool ground as she caught her breath. She looked about the place to see if any of the other members where up yet. She waited for Dresdus to get his fill first.

Bio: At the age of 50 she became the Alpha female of the Moon Pack. She and her Alpha male ruled well, rarely squabbling with their partner pack (neighboring territories) the Blood Pack. Recently (recently to the wolves), only ten years ago, her Alpha, Roxas, was killed. She has been the sole packleader since then. She is huge and strong and, though she is very mild tempered and calm, will fight to the death to protect her pack and her territory.

Dresdus tor into the flesh of the elk. After he had eate his fill, he let Frost eat her fill. The others would have to wait until they were finished.

Frost ate her fill then stepped back from their kill. She licked her muzzle as she walked over to Dresdus and nuzzled up to him then sat down next him. "What a nice breakfast love. It has been a while since we have had Elk. The others will be pleased."

Xandri emerged from her den and stretched. It was cozy inside but a bit small for her large size. She looked around and liked what she saw. To her left, was a drop off(about 15 feet) it was the edge of a cliff. On the other of the small gorge was a waterfall that fell in tiers down to a pool and filtered off into a stream. To her right was a small-ish clearing. Rocky and strewn with only a few patches of grass, it was mainly hardpacked brown earth. Turning her head to look over her back she smiled and sighed. "Still missing you my love..." She whispered into the cool morning air as she looked to the 'sun rock' as Roxas had nicknamed it. The two of them had often gone up and lain there for hours in the sun, warming their fur and overlooking their pack.

With another sigh, Xandri trotted away from her home toward the small trail that led down to the waterfall pool. It was on her way to it for a drink of water that a slight breeze blew the smell of a fresh killed elk and strange wolves to her.

Bio - A plain faced, ordinary looking girl but with a sort of inner light that makes her seem very pretty.
She works at a forest preserve as a guide for birdwatchers. It's her job to make certain those with their eyes to the skies don't trip over their own feet or walk off the edge of a cliff.

"Yes my love. it was a good hunt. Soon the cubs will need to be taught to hunt as well, instead of us bringing them a kill. But I look forward to it. I see such promise in their eyes." Dresdus nuzzeld Frost behind the ears. He then stopped, and stood up alert. He could sense an outside wolf nearby.

Frost was about to nuzzle her mate back when she felt the other wolf's presence. She turned as the hairs on the back of her neck stud up. She felt a growl grow in her throat as she waited to see what would come of this.

It is still a bit early when Lilith arrives at the link up location for today's group. So far only one of her regulars, an old man named Herbert, had arrived. He was leaning up against an oak tree and wearing high powered binoculars which looked comically large hanging around his old neck. If it was only the old man.. then this was going to a very dull day and Lilith was hoping that others would soon arrive. "How's it going, Herbie?" she said by way of a greeting. The old man grunted a response before putting some chewing tobacco in his mouth and going to work on that. The young woman quietly breathed a sigh of relief, guess he isn't feeling chatty today she thought, which goodie for me because I don't want to hear, for the umpteenth time, how much better everything was in the fifties.

She checked her watch and noted there was only fifteen minutes until it was time to hit the trails.

"I sense a member of the moon pack coming this way" Dresdus said with a low growl. "I'm going to investigate. You stay here and watch over the rest of the pack."

Crouching low to the ground, Xandri followed her packs scent trail to the very border. There was a tiny stretch of no mans land between the two but very near the other side, in the Blood territory, was the fallen,partly eaten carcass of an elk. Nearby, very nearby, it were two of the Blood wolves. The alpha male and female by the looks of them.

Dresdus charged at Xandri, stopping short just in front of her. "What do you want? You are not allowed on Blood pack territory."

Xandri glared at him. "If you'll notice." She dipped her head toward the ground at her feet and the strong line of scent seperating the territories. "I am not IN Blood territory. I'm very much on MY side of the fence." To most wolves, Dresdus charging at them would send them scurrying with their tale between their legs, but to Xandri it didn't phase her. She was the alpha and she was nearly his size, only lacking a few inches and about 10pounds. She stood her ground in front of him defiantly, her tail so high it nearly arched over her back. Her hackles were raised and all in all she looked as big if not bigger than Dresdus. Her bright green eyes dared him to take another step closer.

"You are taking a big risk coming this close to my pack's territory." Dresdus showed his teeth, the front of his body lowerd, ready to pounce if need be. "You can only be here for the meat. But it is not yours to have."

Xandri looked down at him, her own stance was completely different. She too was ready to pounce but her front legs were spread apart, her back ones farther back than they normally would have been, ready to launch her forward whenever she wished. She smiled at him, looking more like a growling or baring her teeth. "It is you who is too close. My pack and I come here for water and nothing more. Why would we steal your precious meat when our own lush territory has plenty?"
