Kikuyo woke early one morning and left the house to train. Her mum was helping out in grandma's flower shop, and her dad was out painting.
She reached the training area and started warming up while she waited for her team to arrive for their group training session.

*I dunno. Does it make a difference? I kinda like going through the exams. *

Aya awoke with a start, the alarm clock beeped in a nervous fashion. It could be because the last time it went off a kunai struck the desk it lay on. She pushed herself from the bed and drew the blinds. Light invaded the room, blinding Aya for a breif moment.
Getting dressed in her bathroom, she brushed out the long blonde-blue hair and adjusted the headband. Once certain she was presentable she jumped down the stairs and banged into her father, they fell in a pile on the floor. "God kid, you're gtting heavy." Naruto Uzumaki smiled at his daughter before pulling them both to their feet.
"No, I'm not! You're just too weak! Anyway, why aren't you Hokage-ing somewhere?" She smiled back at her father.
"On my way. Your mother is in the kitchen with Esin and Isamashii. Better hurry before the breakfast is gone." He ambled towards her, kissed her lightly on the cheek and headed back towards the door. Aya bounded for the kitchen before her two older brothers scoffed the lot...

"Hey, Kikuyo! I am hereeeeee!" Aya sang as she bounded towards her team mate, stopping abruptly when she noticed the absence of the third team mate. "Hey, where is he?"

*OK. I claim NejiTen spawn for my boyfriend!*

"Probably late as usual," shrugged Kikuyo. "Mind you, Sensei's late as well."
She sat down on the grass and started drawing, like she always did when she was bored.

*Male me! Lol*

"Tai, lazy douche. He better get his ass outta bed before Kiba Sensei gets his ass here." She announced rather loudly. A cough sounded behind her, Aya turned to see Kiba standing close behind her.
"Already here." He smiled, Akumaru bounded towards us and we laughed as he jumped up and down amusing himself.

*yeah lol. Who's your bf gonna be? And we gotta choose Tai's parent(s)*
"Akamaru-chan!" Kikuyo stopped drawing and hugged Akamaru. "You're late, Kiba-sensei!"
Kiba gave a bark-like laugh. "Tell it to Tai when he gets here. He's the one that's late!"

*Temari and Shika...I mean he's late. I dunno abou the bf....any ideas?*
"He's always like this." Aya muttered to herself. "Hey Akumaru!" She grabbed the overlarge dog by it's ears and gave them a big ol' scratch. The dogs tongue lolled out of his mouth as he seemed to smile at Aya and Kikuyo.
"Hey guys! Sorry I'm late!" A voice floated over to the group.

*well there are lots of options. You don't even have to come up with two characters, because there aren't enough girls. The only girl left is Sakura but you don't have to have her for a mother*
"You're not sorry at all," Kikuyo accused.
The blond spiky ponytail of Tai appeared *shikamaru's hairstyle but with Temari's colour*

"'Kay, we're all here? Good! Let's start." Kiba's wide grin never left his face. "Today we're going back to basics!" He pointed to the trees behind him. "Tree walking! Chakra concentration! Kikuyo, you must remember to focus...or you'll land on your butt like the first time."

"That time didn't count!" Kikuyo exclaimed. "Namihiko was walking past and I got a brilliant view where I was so of course I was gonna lose concentration. You're so strict, sensei!"
But she picked her tree anyway and started to focus her chakra on her feet.

Halfway up the tree, Aya turned to see how her fellow team mates to see how their basic skills had progressed in the past year. Tai's blond ponytail was visible from the lower branches of a tree not too far off from where Aya stood, his face was screwed up and his eyebrows were knitted together in concentration. Aya smiled, it was so like him to put it all into the subject at hand. On the other side of Aya was Kikuyo, her delicate form was a little lower down from Aya on her tree. Her face was full of concentration also...a concentraion which looked as though it broke when a raven swooped down on her.
Aya laughed, "Come on, K! More tree climing."

"It's so boring," said Kikuyo. "I would be able to do it if we were doing something more interesting like water walking!"
"Don't give sensei ideas!" exclaimed Tai.

"Good point, dude." Aya shouted to him through the leaves that began to surround her as she got further and further up the tree.
"Aya! I wouldn't climb up any further, there are a flock of birds nesting in their and they aren't to be reckoned with! Kikuyo! Keep climbing, you too Tai!" Kiba yelled up to the tree climbers.

Kikuyo rolled her eyes and caught sight of Namihiko and his team training. Kikuyo watched them for a fraction of a second, and the next thing she knew, she was lyign on the ground at the foot of her tree.
"Why is my life so awful?" she groaned.

"Because," I sliced the top of the tree trunk with a kunai and did a back flip down of the tree, landing in a crouched position a few feet from Kikuyo, "you never know when to leave him alone and concentrate on the important things." I smiled at her.

"Easy enough for you to say, you can actually do this exercise!" grumbled Kikuyo, standing back up and looking up at her tree. "Besides, I don't get why this stupid tree is more important than him."

"He isn't going to help you maintain a good chakra control, is he?" Her rhetorical question made her question Kikuyo's concentration levels, yet again. "That would be a no."

Kikuyo scowled at her tree.
Tai didn't want to invoke her wrath and give her an I-told-you-so look, but she could still feel that that was his attitude.
"Come on, Kikuyo, we can't have lunch until you make it to the top!" called Kiba.
"WHAT?!" She exclaimed.
"Troublesome..."

"I plan on eating, LIKE SOON! SO GET THAT ASS UP THIS TREE AND GET TO THE TOP BEFORE I KICK IT THERE!" Aya yelled at Kikuyo dragging her towards the tree Kikuyo was originally walking up. She shoved her forward. "NOW GO!"

"What? There's no way I can make it to the top today! The best I've ever managed was half way, and that was a fluke!" said Kikuyo hopelessly, inwardly cursing her sensei.

"If you do make it to the top," Aya smirked, "I'll ask Him out for you - to the dance in the Academy this weekend.."

Kikuyo's eyes widened and her head snapped up to look at Aya. "Honestly? You - you mean it?!"
Without another word her expression set and she grabbed her kunai tightly and leaped at her tree. She managed almost half way before she lost her balance, but she didn't care, she'd try again and again until she did it right. Because she was definitely going to the Academy dance with Hyuuga Namihiko.

"Yeah, that worked." Tai muttered to Aya who was giggling slightly.
"Hey, Kiba-Sensei? Can I go ask cousin Namihiko something?" Aya asked.
"Yeah, sure. Come back though, we need to go eat! I am hungry!"
Aya ambled over to her cousin's team and quickly dragged him out of his jutsu, "Hey, can I ask you something?"
"Yeah, sure, what you want?" Namahiko replied.
"Kikuyo likes you, go to the dance with her Saturday. Please?"

"All right!!! I'm at the top! Lunch on you, Sensei, and Aya has to ask Namihiko to the dance for me!" called Kikuyo with delight, having, after much effort, made it to the top. She noticed then that Aya had disappeared. "Where did she go? She didn't give up on me?"
