Shigure straghtend himself and stepped over beside his sister. He looked down and gave her an encouraging smile. "My job is basically to assess his wonds and see what i can do that you havent done!" he stated with a small laugh. To him it was rather funny. To them it probably wasnt. "Anyways id better be off! Hana Join me in 20 minuts!" he said and ruffled the girls haiir before bolting off.

Hana listened to her brother and watched him give her a smile and explain himself. Then without warning he had his hand on her head messing her hair and was gone almost as quick as he had came. She gave a frustrated huff before fixing her hair and glaring ut the door where he had run off. Hana was snapped form her anger when Rue offered to let her look around.
"Id rather get Brother neck between my fingers!" She grawled pretending to strangel an imaginary shigure. "The jerk dragged me here by my ear!!" She stated and rubbed her poor little ear that was still a little red from shigures pinching. "A walk wouldnt be bad though!" She said with a smile as she still glanced about the dojo.

"That seems to be the case", She replied to Nue's comment. After Shigures rather cocky exit, she turned to Kusa, a little surprised. "Sensei, is there really a need for him to go an assess Elder Tashiro's condition? Have we not done all we could for him?" She trusted Kusa's healing abilities, and a few of the other advanced students throughout the Kuro village that have helped him during this difficult time.

"It makes me a little uneasy that Kuro would send for a healer from another village to come to our aid." She paused for a moment. Really, in her mind, the issue was not Kuro's healing abilities, but the Elder's health. The man had helped in providing all she needed during the time she was an orphan. Of course, it was through other members, too, but he always saw to it that she, among other orphans, was taken care of. "Though I do understand the need. I think, most of all, it worries me that his condition has gotten this bad." She said softly.

"The old man'll pull through, Rhi." Nue assured her. "He's been in worse conditions." Not ENTIRELY true, but still. Almost as bad. "His fever's broken, so we just have to wait."

Hana listene dto them talk she was a little taken back by Rhi's statment.
"Actually were not from another village!" She explained and looked over at the girl. "Were just a diffrent clan." She said and prepaired to explain herself some more. "The Ryuzkai clan isnt very skilled with medical work, Wree more apt for trikery than medical stuff But shigure has found a love in medicine and well hes got the best breed of wolves in the village as well as the quickets exceleration of medical knowlege out their." She explained with a pleasent smile

Running through the woods. Fire was all around a little girl. A burning village with men following. She didnt know where to go so she just kept running. The men were taken down by two people that yelled for her to keep running as she stopped. Her parents. She heard their screams of pain as they were killed....
Kyrii kept running through the forest many years later. She came through in her running clothes and then went into her room opening the paper door. She always had flashbacks as she ran. It was a way of life she guessed. She took the hair pin that use to be her mothers and put her hair in a ponytail with it. Kyrii took her two swords putting them onto her belt along with her scythe and chain. She started to head towards the training rooms. She saw some new people in the training area of Kuro the clan that had taken her in. She looked at them curiously. Funny that they would bring another clan here. What for? She went into the bag room putting fresh bags up and started to train using them.

"Really? I wasn't aware that the any of the Ryuzaki resided in the village. Guess I'm a little behind." Nue joked.

Kyrii walks out of the bag room and then looks at the new comers. She walks over to them. "hey Rhi whose your new friends? They dont seem from around here."

Rhi smiled gently at Nue's reassuring her, her eyes showing a silent 'thank you'. She turned to look at Kyrii. "I'm not sure if I consider them my 'friends' just yet. I wasn't aware that they were in our village either." As she turned to face Kusa again, her thoughts shifted once more to the village elder. I hope that dear old fogey is okay... she thought.

Kyrii did a slight laugh. She knew they hadnt been. It was a small joke. "So what clan are you from and why are you hear?" She didnt say it in a rude tone but a welcoming one. She wanted to welcome them. If they were able to get in then they were welcomed guests.

Nue smiled at her cousin before turning to Kyrii. "They're from the Ryuzaki clan. Apparently, they've been requested to see if they can do anything for the Elder." Her tone saddened as she thought of the old man. He'd always been so strong, it was strange to see him so... frail and weak looking.

hana Smiled at them. it was rather amusing seeing them ponder over who she was and where her clan was from. She did however see their expressions change drastically when talk of their elder arose.
"Im Hana Ryuzkai." She introduced herself to the new girl who had joined them. "My brother is here to check on your elders condition, I wouldent worry too much, brothers really good at what he does!"she said with a reasuring voice. "He dragged me along to help, so im assuming hell send for me when he needs me!" She said with a small smile.

Kyrii gave off a girlish smile at him. "Ryuzkai clan huh? i dont remember if ive heard of you or not. Nice to meet you." She looked back at Hana who had adressed her. "Well im sure we are all grateful for it." She looked around at the others. She knew she hadnt known the elder as long but it made her happy that someone was here to take care of the man who took her in. "Im at least glad. If you want i could show you to him. Hell pull through he is a stong guy. He could use some help fighting through it. Im sure he wouled appreciate it as well." She smiled at them. She was the youngest one here and needed to train but she didnt mind showing them around if it was for the sake of the man who had saved her from the cold.

Kusa listened as everyone talked. Although she did not say much herself since there was not much for her to say. Kusa finished placing the new medicine in their proper spots. Before leaving, she heard of the other healer. How dare they send for another. Kusa thought to herself. She knew the village elder did not trust the medic fully, but this was just too far. Kusa just rolled her eyes, making sure no one saw. She then heard her student's voice.

"The Elder will be fine. We must remember he is growing older though dear. With age he becomes more frail physically. He will not take me advice though" Kusa sighed. This situation aggravated her greatly. She told Rhi that she had to be going just as their conversation carried on. Kusa headed back to her home. To check on the boy who had just had surgery. He was still sleeping. A knock came to the door. Followed by two men in black. Kusa shushed them as they came in, telling them of the boy. They gave her a bow and pleaded her to come help the elder in his healing process.

Rhi watched silently as the group conversed. She nodded as Kusa explained her leaving. She could feel just a little anxiousness come over her as she thought of Toshiro. I'm going to go see him too. She began to make her way out of the dojo quietly and unnoticed, going along the back of the building so as to not be seen by their fighting instructor, who was due to arrive any minute.
Shortly after, A tall man named Takeo entered. He had ink-black hair, donning an all-black gi without sleeves. His muscles rippled as he entered, swinging his arms as he walked to the front and center of the room. He stood for a second, then opened his mouth to bark out orders. "I assume you've had ample time to warm up for the morning! Everyone, please take your positions. We will start our first exercise in ten seconds. Anyone not ready will carry buckets up the mountain for the remainder of the day."

Rhi could hear his voice from her place in the trees as she made her way away from the dojo. The birds were chirping quite noisily, their noise bringing comfort and familiarity to her ears. She could afford to miss a day of combat class. She lept from branch to branch over the huts and houses that made up the Kuro village. Not long after, a building with a green tiled roof could be seen. Elder Toshiro's house. Rhi dropped to the ground and dusted herself off, her breaths slowing as she approached the steps. The house was grand, yet still modest. Shrouded by few trees, the sun shone on the white stone of its exterior, making it extremely bright.
"You have no business here", she heard a voice from the top step. One of the Elder's guards stood, crossing his arms. Rhi walked up to him. "Good day to you too, Higa." The man scowled. "Toshiro's not in the mood for visitors", he said. "Go back to hitting your straw dummies and fighting sandbags."
Rhi narrowed her eyes and within less than a second, she put a foot between his legs, planting it firmly on the ground, grabbed him by his uniform, and pushed with great force with her other hand between his shoulders. It was an unexpected move to come from someone of her size. He was thrown forward and around, and landed with a thud on the Elder's steps. Rhi cast a downward glance at him as she stepped over the guard.
"I'll let you takemy place in sparring class today. Seems like you need it more than I."

Nue sighed as she noticed Rhi had gone again, but got into position. She really wasn't in the mood for Takeo's 'punishment'. She always found it funny that he never sent anyone after the trouble makers to make sure they'd actually run up and down the mountain all day- she herself had slacked off when she was younger. Unfortunately, she couldn't risk it now, now that she was so close to graduating and becoming a sensei herself.

Kusa signed as the two men bowed to her. She started gathering items and mixing them. It did not take her long to finish a green paste like substance and shove it into a small bottle with some water.

"Shall we go?" Kusa asked.

She followed behind the two men right into the Elder's home. The two guards started to run forward, seeing the girl attacking one of the Elder's bodyguards. Kusa kept her pace though. As she got closer she ordered,

"Rhi, Come with me" The two men turned and looked at Kusa as if she were crazy.

"Rhi is a student of mine. She will be a great help." The medic explained.

Rhi was about to enter the house when she saw three figures approaching. It was Kusa, accompanied by two men. She was about to open her mouth to say something, when Kusa's voice reached her ears. She stood for a second, the words registering. She wanted her to help her? Rhi, a mere student, help one of the greatest healers Kuro had ever known? Rhi started in after Kusa.
"But- sensei! I am not qualified to practice in real-life matters yet!" she exclaimed. Though the girl was brought up in the village and held a plethora of hours of training under her belt- even a few missions, at that- living up to the qualifications of becoming a medic was a different story. She hadn't even witnessed a surgery!

Kusa laughed a bit at the girl's reaction. She seemed to not get the hint. Rhi was going to get in trouble if Kusa did not stand up for her. Still, Kusa would just go along with it. She did not say anything back to the student as she passed her on the stairs. Knowing Rhi would follow her anyway. Possibly chattering about how unless she would be. Kusa was led to the room of the elder. She stepped in and bowed greatly to the man laying in bed. His eyes narrowed a bit at the healer.

"Miss Kusa Bana, What are you doing here?" He asked sternly. It was true the elder never liked Kusa. It was from the night she was found in the woods twelve years ago. Also the past she was found to have. It was true Kusa never told the village anything about herself. Except the fact of her trade. Most of it was her business. No one elses. It was only most of the older teachers who would know though. Students would only see Kusa as another teacher. As Rhi came in after Kusa, the Elder's mood lightened.

"Rhi here will be observation me sir." Kusa said walking over to the bedside of the elder. Motioning for Rhi to some over also.

Kyrii smiled at the new comers as the man walked in. She rolled her eyes and went into the dojo area to get into position. She did so and waited for his next command. Even if the man had made any of them go up the mountains none of them actually did it. She had noticed that. She was the youngest in the group therefore the smallest. but she was extrememly fast. She watched the man waiting to see what they were doing now. Looking around she couldnt see Rhi. Rhi had left... no doubt going to the elder.

Hana watched all of them talk. She stayed silent. It wasnt that she didnt know what to say but rather she didnt want to upset or start anythng. She was bad around people. People who knew her and her history that is. Plus she was a natrually shy person.

After going over their simple excercises, Takeo went over to the weapons rack on the wall. Taking a ninja sword, http://www.japaneseswords.biz/images...ja%20Sword.jpg he proceeded to slice the air, moving about the room before the students, displaying a wide range of cuts, thrusts, and parrys. After a moment, he paused and tossed the blade to Hana. "Everyone, pair up with a sparring partner and grab a sword." He gestured to the racks on the walls. "Let's see how your swordplay is coming along."


Despite her own qualms about working along Sensei Kusa, Rhi hurried inside with her.
They turned a few times following the hallway, passing various chambers that belonged to the old man. Then, they came before a pair wooden statues of dragons that snaked their way up toward the ceiling. Between them was the doorway to Toshiro's room. They entered without delay.
The man's bed was plush, a dark comforter of down feathers over his body. The windows were blocked out, making it very dim inside. His wife, Ika, sat at his side. She looked up with eager eyes when she saw Kusa. The elder, however, didn't seem pleased. Rhi was surprised at his reaction, but she obediently came to his side as she was motioned by the teacher. Simultaneously, she let herself relax once she found that she was only summoned here by Kusa to observe.
Rhi knelt by the bed, looking eye level into his dark pupils. "Master." She said softly.

Kyrii went over to Hana. "You want to be my sparring partner seeing as he gave you the sword." She laughed a little. Truthfully she didnt know who to spar with. It amazed her that the teacher would give the sword to one that was not their own. Well sensei will be sensei. She laughed in her head at the though. She knew what he was like and it was more fun to have visitors join in. She waited for the answer to come patiently.

Nue laughed quietly as Hana caught the sword. "Congratulations, I think you've just been accepted." She whispered as she walked by, patting the girl on the shoulder. Nue unsheathed the short sword from around her waist, facing off with one of the younger boys.

Hana Looked rather bafled as she caught the katana one handed. She did come in here to see what they were like but wasnt expecting to be hannded a wepon and almost forced into a lesson. What was Shigure going to say when he called on her only to receve a bloodyed up sister who might need more help than the old man. Sighing she gave in to that little devil on her shoulder. "When in Roam!" She muttered before smiling at Kyrii, "I guess i have no choice really!" she said as she alowed her wrist to move fluidly in cirlse as she spun th katana around and got a feel for the weaght and balance of the wepon. "I dont suppose your Sensi would alllow me to sneek off now would she!?" She asked still keeping a rather hapy mannor about her. if their was one thing they didnt know, it was that Hana could be a little ruthless when she wanted to be.
