emilie started to take off her clothes to change into the dress that was out for her "i can handle on or two of them at once the bastards just ganged up on me and i wasnt going to see if i could handle twenty in any way shape or form." she shivered at the thought then went back to changing "so were are you all headed just so i know were the next stop will be its not like i have any right to be here on this ship you just came across me in my more imbarasing state." she began to think back on what she could remember of her salt water induced insanity and she decided that killing her father would probably be a good idea but later on even insane she had some pretty good ideas. "so when do i get out of here and get to meet the rest of the crew that im stuck with for awhile im dying to see what the captin has in store for me but with my skills i could probably be of some use to him."

Tarra smirked and got up, "well if you dont want to waist any time I am sure that eveyone would love to met you. But I am pretty sure I can get the captain to let you to stay on the ship, I mean it isn't like you have anywhere to go." she said as she smiled at her new friends. Then coughed slgihtly and got her man voice back. "now lets go and see what we can do about your stay here." she siad as she walked over to the door.

((mwahahahaha. Oh the Fun. -smiles that mischievous smile- ))

Andy sat off to one side watching. With a bottle in one of his hands, he took a huge swig of the brownish liquid inside of it. His short, flaming red hair disturbed only by the rough winds that whipped around the ship, it hung almost past his eyes. It was getting long again, and he was going to have to cut it soon to avoid any problems with the Captain. The boy’s pale eyes watched the various scenes that interlinked with little interest.

He knew to stay out of things, and the others thought him weird for it but he did not care. His blue eyes carefully watched every detail of the scene before him. It was bad enough that they thought him odd because of his eyes anyway. His eyes were blue, at least he thought so. But the others thought them white because of how pale they were. Andy just insisted that they were Ice Blue. No one believed him. Because of this, they generally away from him. Even the Captain tended to stay out of his way for the most part.

His thoughts turned towards the girl that was on the boat. She had guts, he had to give her that. But why she was drinking the salt water was beyond him. He didn’t want to know, so he did not ask. He was amazed that she had not jumped off the boat yet. The only thing that amazed him more was that so far, as far as he has seen, none of the guys have been too forceful towards her. Shaking his head, he knew that it was all just a matter of time before they forced themselves on her in their drunken stupor.

It made him wonder what would happen if they ever found a girl hiding amongst them. Would they kill the girl on the spot? Would they force themselves onto her in payment for her tricking them? Or would they make her jump ship no matter where they were? The thought was puzzling to him, but he decided to keep his eyes and attention on the activities going on.

emilie giggled "we will see mabye i will stay mabye i wont god knows i will never return to that hell hole i once was apart of." she twirled the dress spining around her oh wait." she grabed her old shirt and ripped it and used the part she ripped and tied her hair back "their now we can go." she opened the door and blocked the sun from her eyes as she looked around the ship "hello everyone how are you all doing." she smiled and looked around hoping that this ship would be different then the last.

Tarra walked closer behind Emilie as she looked around the ship. She wasn't going to take the chance for any of the drunk men to get there hands on her. She looked like a body guard how she stood over the girl and smiled at her, "how about if I show you around the ship and ot everyone." she said happly and liked have a girl on the boat more and more.

"so were should we go first tom." she remembered her fake name and used it she was so proud of herself "mabye start with the captin and end outside again." she thought about it for a second "or start from the cutest on down its up to you your the one calling the shots right now or at least with me."

Kale heard the two walk down the hallway, and swiftly popped out of the kitchen to follow. The girl and Tom walked with each other, and the dark-haired boy was curious as to who the newcomer was.
Slowly stepping up next to her, he smiled.
"Hey," he said, his brown eyes scanning over her face. She looked happy and pleasant enough. "I'm Kale." Clearing his throat, the youth narrowed his eyes against the last rays of the sun.

emilie was walking with tom they were talking to everyone she even made a few of the bigger ones tounge tieded "this is fun." she walked down a hallway when someone popped right infront of her she laughed at his curiousity "hi kale im emilie its so nice to meet you." she was looking down at him she was tall for her age and he was rather short to her.

Looking up at her eyes, Kale grimaced. "Dang, I'm still shorter than everyone on the ship - even the girl!" He extended a dirty hand to the woman. "I'm glad to meet you, too." Reaching up to gently flick her forehead, Rat chuckled. "How'd you get so tall, miss? For all the trying I do, I haven't grown a lick since I left home."

"well to be honest im the shortest one one in my family so mabye it has something to do with that." she flicked him back "so kale what do you do around here let me guess your short cute and kinda skinny so hummmmm." she began to think it over for a second "you would either be their slave boy forced to do all the dirty work or their pet so which is it." she laughed "dont worry on my old ship i was baiscly both and then some." she sighed at the mention of that hell hole.

The teen's smile flitted back onto his face when Emilie flicked back at him, and he reached over to tug on a strand of her hair. Then he frowned when she mentioned his duties on the ship. I guess every crew needs a scapegoat.
"Oy," Kale shook his head. "You have no idea. I guess slave pretty much sums it up." With a grimace, the youth's tan face turned back to her. "You have a home still? I mean, why'd you leave it?"

emilie was going to ignore his question and ask her own "hey tell me something do you consider this place your home." she smiled her eyes seemed to show a warmth in them that could melt any mans heart "because the ship i was on i considered it a prison and everyday that they kept me alive was hell since i did everything without so much as a word because of fear of being beaten until one day they saw me undressing then that was enough i had to leave so i did so to your question no i dont have a home anymore." she sighed but smiled at him she didnt mean to tell him so much but she had to get it off her chest.

Tarra placed a hand on Emilies shoulder, "of cours you have a home child, you can stay here with me as long as you like. I even have a house on land that you might like." she said with a smile. "and if the captain says no I will just beat it into his little head." she said and knew that she could. Even if she was a women she could do a mans job easly.

Rat smiled when Tom placed a hand on Emilie's shoulder, and he looked to the woman with eyes full of sympathy. "I guess we're on the same lines," he said, reaching over to place a dark hand on her other shoulder. "Home's must be hard to come by."
Kale saw in her eyes a flicker of spirit . . . one that he loved to see. Adventurous, smart, and beautiful. What more could a guy want in a girl?

emilie smiled at both then remembered something "oh thats right we havnt met the captin yet he must think me really rude now and no tom you are not going to do anything to him if he says no i will leave nothing more i can do and nothing you can do alright i will just have to go mabye make myself a life as a map maker im very good at that and as a navagator." she was hoping he wouldnt object to her staying but if he did at least she had options "would you like to come with us kale im sure i could use some support if he finds that some of the crew likes me he may think about keeping me onboard."

Tarra sighed, "alright." she said as she looked at Emilie. THen smiled at the two boys, "yeah why dont you come along, She will need all the help she can get." she said happly and hoped that they captain would say yes to her staying.

((*chuckle* I guess I forgot to mention this earlier . . . and never clarified. :P Rat and Kale = the same person. *laugh* Rat is just a nickname of sorts. Sorry for any confusion!))

"I'm in," the tan boy said, saluting smartly. "I will help out as best I can with getting you to stay." Looking up at Tom, Kale grinned. "Not that I can help much if you have someone like Tom on your side. He's a beast when it comes to convincing people."
Snagging Emilie's hand in his, he entwined his dark fingers with hers. "Let's go talk to Captain Demont."

emilie smilied at kale and tightly squeezed his hand she would never admit it but she did was nervous and didnt want to leave "lets go tom do you want to show us the way or would you kale." they walked to the captins quarters emilie and kale and tom side by side emilie was still getting used to this ship "well i guess i will knock on the door first." she knocked on the door three times waiting to get a responce to enter.

The broad-shouldered captain was ready when the trio arrived. Or, ready as he could have been. Demont was scribbling something down on a scrap of paper, and sorting a few books from a chest at his feet.
Looking up from his work, he allowed them in. "What is it that you need?" he asked, his eyes locking onto the new girl.

Tarra steped up and looked at the captain, "we where wondering if it was alright that the girl stayed on the ship. We could use the help and she can bunk with me." she said as she looked at the captain. "and I will take full responsebility for everything that she does." she said as she smiled at the captain. She was good wtih her word and the captain usually couldn't say no to her.

emilie was a bit scared of the man but entered she looked him straight in the eyes "hello sir my name is emilie emilie fairmount of the fairmount trading corporation family i thank you for helping me out in my time of distress for you see i had a problem with my old crew and i left without word and in cause leaving my familys name behind me." she wanted to fidget but couldnt so with her hands behind her back she began to play with her dress mabye saying her familys last name screwed it over it usually did for her. when tarra steped up she was a bit happy this could mean the difference between staying and leaving "and sir dont think of me as useless i was trained to be a master map maker and navagater so i could help that way."

Demont looked back and forth between Emilie and Tom, a slight smile on his face.
"You may stay, Emilie," he said, nodding. "Thank you for taking her in, Tom. I'd trust no one else with the lady."
Sighing, he leaned back in his chair. "Is there anything else, or did you come to ask if the girl could stay?"
Shaking his head, the captain smiled. "Tomorrow after you've been settled in, come and see me, Emilie. I would like to test your map making skills, if I may."



Kale cheered silently to himself, knowing that the captain was a good enough man. Demont wouldn't kick Emilie off of the ship - she was a woman, someone worth keeping on board. The captain was even offering to give her a job!

"thank you sir i will come see you first thing in the tomorrow." she wanted to run out their so she could hug both the tarra and kale for comming with her she was out of her mind nervous but it ended well. she walked back outside and did just that giving both of them a hug "thank you for comming with me." she looked at tom "now why did he say he trusted only you it seems you have alot of pull with the captin i might have to remember that." she giggled and turned to kale whos eyes were always level with her breasts "you my little one i guess you have someone under you now dont you." it was true she was the newest person here and the lowest of the low right now.

Tarra shook her head, "that is all captain, oh and by the way I am making your favorite tonight for dinner." she said and knew that would have the captain even more happy. She then turned to Kale and Emilie, "come you two, time to get out of here so the captain can get back to work." she said and pled a hand on both of there shoulders and started to lead them out of the room.

Kale grinned and cheered loudly once the captain's door was closed.
"Well, you certainly have permission to stay," he said happily. "Not to mention, we get something good to eat tonight."
Sighing loudly, the lean boy yawned. "Though I think I'll snag a few hours of sleep before I'm given more chores." Reaching over to hug Emilie, the teen punched Tom in the shoulder. "See you both at dinner then, yes?" He trotted off down the hallway, waving his farewell.
