There's actually quite a few out there now luckily, although none of them are as active as Gaia. There's also Roliana, but I don't like it as much as here.

I did play Gaia for years, but it wasn't my favorite place to go even while playing it. I don't find it boring per say, but I find the people there to be rude and it frustrates me that I can't have very good conversation on there usually.
