I am a Nintendo DS fan, myself. There just aren't enough games on the PSP for me to bother buying it.

But, the PSP does have beautiful graphics. I'd likely own both if I could afford it.

Oh yes Genesis, how I love thee.

I like a lot of the games on the Nintendo DS (plus you can play GBA games), but most of the time, the game quality is hit or miss. If it's not amazing, it usually sucks. And gameplay can basically be the difference between a good or bad game.

I like the PSP because of the larger screen and the fact that I can turn it "off" and it loads faster.

But at the same time, a lot of the other capabilities of the PSP (movies, music, etc), just don't seem to interest me, so the downside is mostly the fact that the capabilities are basically the same as a console only with a smaller screen (still fun to play Disgaea on, though).

I usually juggle between the two systems, and I sometimes bring my GBA pocket when I need a small purse and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be bored.

I love video games in general, though, so the biggest thing I regret about being an adult with a busy life is the fact that I don't get much time to play console games anymore. =_=

I'd say the Nintendo DS is better, I've always been a Nintendo fan but I have had a PSP before but I can't say I enjoyed the games that were avaliable very much..

You can play GBA games on the DS and plus I like touch screen technology.

I'm more of a DS fan. There really aren't enough games for the PSP that I want for me to buy it. There are a few games that I would like for the PSP, just not as many as the DS.

I am a huge Nintendo fan, loving the Wii and the DS, so my answer is going to be Nintendo DS.

I think my friend described it the best.

"The DS is the king of the handheld RPG and the Puzzle/Platformer. The PSP gets....everything else."

I think that's about right. I prefer RPG's mostly, because I love compelling gameplays and great stories, both of which all good RPG's must have.

I like the D.S. better. Mainly because it has Scribblenauts, which is like my favorite game ever.

Well, having a Gameboy, then a DS, and never having a PSP, I will say DS.

I find the DS is very interactive, which makes it fun.

Not to mention, its got games for just about... anyone...

It really depends on which games you like really, but personally as far as specifics, I now think the PSP is better and why you ask? Because the games seem more rich and the graphics over all seem much better, plus you can get online with a browser on it, it's just overall much better in my opinion.

Both.
I like different games that require having both systems, though the only one I own is a DS.

I think this is a difficult decision. I would pick the DS because I have alot of games for it that I play, but I still love the PSP, I just wish that they would get more games for it.

You can't really compare. They are both targeted to different audiences.

the DS has more 'fun' cutesy type games where the PSP is more serious.

The PSP is for people who want to be able to go on the internet, store music, making phone calls, watch movies...

the DS is more for kids or people that are more causal of players.

I like my DS, i've never had a PSP before but I heard that the games aren't cheap and the thing that PSPs don't have is extra ways to play the games like the touch screen or the microphone. I just like the Nintendo DS better. :)

You should see the DSI that nintendo has, but the only thing that sucks is that you can't play gameboy advance games on them.

On the Dsi? I have a DS and a DSI and I play gameboy advance games on my DSI... how you ask! Well... SD chip. The DSI comes with a slot for an SD chip and I'm just snazzy enough to have found a free place to download all your favorites. Of course I also have the mod chips for the ds/dsi and I can watch movies and what not on it as well.

Honestly I prefer the PSP just because of the type of games, the graphics, etc.

I did like the DS, but after just a bit most of it bores me.... I guess I am just not into the touch screen thing all that much. Then again I am not crazy about the Wii either for the most part (I do have one though just becase the Harvest Moon games! lol).

I guess PSP really because there is more on it that I get into than DS, and I can just keep my music on there too instead of hauling around 2 or 3 things.

DS is my favorite, but I do enjoy the PSP as well. Just there's more games for the DS that I like, and I like the whole touch screen aspect.

PSP does have nice graphics, but some of the games tend to lag (like Sims 2 on it..), and that can be frustrating. Also, I have to charge my PSP waaaay more than my DS. It seems like it doesn't ever fully turn off, which is good for when I want to quickly return to a game but bad because of it not being able to turn on and needing to be plugged in and charged before I can play again.
