Sieg grunted, not bothering to look back at Emilie.
"Some of us prefer the sea over companionship."
Ignoring the woman when she fell to the ground, the broad man sighed to himself.
"I didn't mean to frighten you," he grumbled, crossing his thick arms over his chest and glaring out at the choppy waves. "You should learn to be more observant, girl."
His blond hair tossing about his face, Sieg turned and pulled Emilie to her feet with one hand.
"What use is an ignorant woman?" the man muttered to himself as he turned back to the sea.

Tarra then made her way outside and took in some fresh air. It felt great to be herself now and saw Seig and Emilie talking. he decided to leave them alone and stay where she was. She looked out over the water and started to hum the song that her father use to sing to her when she was on his ship.

"yeah whatever." emilie sighed this man was a pain in the ass she was going to have a hard time liking him she could tell "anyway thank you for helping me up." she dusted herself off then began to walk back to the crew when she saw tarra "hey girl what are you doing here?" she put her hand on her hip and looked confused "not trying to escape them are you first dinner as a girl."

Tarra laughed, "no, just needed to come outside and get some fresh air. I always come outside after I eat." she said as she smiled at Emilie. "and I have found that the men are still trying to figure out where I cam from. It is funny to listen to. They say that tom must have fallen upon a curse and is trapped as a girl and stuff like that. It is really funny." she said as she smiled at her.

"its a curse to be a woman man i did not know that." she laughed and began to shiver "im going back inside im alittle cold and you should to your wearing less then me your will catch your death out here." she walked inside and giggled alittle she could still hear the men yelling and screaming about something from here and they sounded like a bunch of children.

Kale laughed loudly, wiping his mouth with his hand.
"Fine!" he shouted above the noise, lifting his cup in the air. "First one to finish wins."
The man sitting in front of Kale grunted in agreement, and they each raised their mug of rum. After a short count down from the crew, both Rat and his opponent guzzled their beverages as quickly as possible.
Kale won - after choking on the last gulp. He was slapped on the back a few times, and the dark-skinned teen cleared his throat. "Gotcha!" he gasped, his brown eyes gazing triumphantly at his adversary. A few of the men laughed when the slender youth clutched his stomach, grimacing. "Really shouldn't have done that," he said with a pained look. "I guess dinner wasn't quite that small after all, eh?"
When Kale was slapped on the shoulder, the teen fought back a gag. He had definitely drank too fast for his own good - and far too soon after dinner.
"I think I'm going to be sick," Rat stood quickly, stumbling out to the deck as fast as he could. When he relieved himself of his last meal over the side of the ship, Kale sank down to the ground and leaned against the railing. With a dark hand still clutching his stomach, the youth groaned. His vision was blurring already; he wasn't the most tolerant creature when it came to intoxicating liquors.
Kale quickly found that he sat near Sieg, who looked down at him with a look of disdain. "Is everyone under the age of 25 a fool?" the large man mumbled, shaking his head.
"I'm no-" Rat paused, closing his eyes. "I'm . . . uh, I'm not."
"Drunk off of one drink, boy?"
"NO!" Kale said, a bit too loudly. A few seconds later he smiled crookedly. "Yes. I am drunk."
With a loud sigh, Sieg turned his blue eyes back to the sea. "Perhaps you'll learn from this," he grumbled. "One can only hope."

emilie watched as kale was getting sick and decided if kale could beat them anyone could and since she was the second best drinker on her old ship she decided to give the old boys a run for their money. she went and sat at the table the men were pairing up on to decide who would go against who and she happily sat infront of the biggest man their was "hello big boy now dont go easy on little old me now would you." the man wasnt the smartest one in the group he just shook his head no and they started they looked at each other and then at the glases then began emilie was used to cheating so on purpose she splashed alittle on her breasts "oh my." all the faces turned and looked at her while she continued to drink and dab on her breasts making them wiggle alittle they followed her like they were slaves and they were slaves of woman. she slamed the cup down and everyone turned and looked at the cup that was compleatly empty "all gone hun i think you got alittle something right their." she laughed and got up she was going to check on kale see if he was feeling any better. once she was on her feet tho the poison she loved so much too effect making her alittle less then gracefull making most of the men laugh "i still won and you all lost to a *hicp* woman." she stumbled over to kale and slaped her hand on his back on accident "how you doing their cutie getting any bigger nope i see not."

Tarra walked over to the two and shook her head. "what am I going to do with you two?" She grumped and shook her head still. "Looks like I am going to have to play babysiter for you two till you can think straight." she said and knew that she should have kept a better eye on the two. She could hold her rum better then any guy here but she never drank.

"Very funny," Kale said, wincing. "What'd you do, guzzle a friggin' keg?" His eyes were full of laughter, though the tanned boy was sure to keep his gaze on the water below him. It was too much of a risk to look to his two friends as they approached.
"You're the best Tom," Rat shook his head slightly, "Tarra. Tarra."
He leaned over the railing to spill the last remains of his dinner, wiping his mouth with a frown.
"Never was a good drinker," he grumbled. "Apparently it hasn't changed one bit."

emilie rubbed kales back "aww *hic* hun you should take a nap you would feel better i might take one with you come on." she grabed his arm and tried to help him to the her bed but well she couldnt get on her feet "lets go to sleep."

"Sleep?" Kale rolled his eyes in exaduration. "Didn't you guys just wake me up?" He tried to hold Emilie steady as she swayed and lurched about, and ended up just pulling her to him. Wrapping a strong arm about her shoulders, he grinned. "I'll take you to your room," the brown-haired youth said, "and I'll head to mine."
Looking to Tarra, Kale smiled slightly. "I promise to leave her safely in your quarters," he saluted quickly. "Without getting sick all over your floor. I'm feeling much better now."
With those final words, the young man carefully started to help Emilie to her room.

"nooo i want to sleep with you come on we can cuddles." emilie begins to giggles and laughes up a storm "oh come on you know you want to we dont have to tell tarra the stick in the mud." she began to walk to the cabin and pulled kale into the bed with her he was now ontop of her "your so cute you know that." she laughed and held him close to her his head close to her chest.

"Tell Tarra?" The youth frowned. "There's nothing to tell." Rat shook his head, but then was yanked into the room.
"Uhm," Kale blushed brightly, sitting up and standing. "Eh heh, you really need to sleep this alcohol off, Em." He fended the woman off gently, slowly backing to the door. "You're totally drunk. Drinks and women don't mix well, you know?"

Tarra sighed as she watched the two kids go off. She would have to keep a eye on them after they drink next time. She then walked over to Sieg, "so, how are you enjoying this fine day?" she asked as she looked out over the water.

"oh come on you know you want to." emilie slowly got up her eyes were already heavy "what you dont loves me like that." even drunk she knew how to push buttons so she started the water works her eyes started to fill with tears and she looked up at kale "thats it now that toms tarra you no need me."

Sieg cast a short glance over to Tarra, raising an eyebrow.
"Enjoying a day is like loving a fool," the large man replied, his deep voice soft. "Pointless to a fault." His blond hair tossed about in the quickening wind, but Sieg ignored it. "How can one enjoy his time on a ship when he's seeking something impossible?" Resting his arms on the railing, Sieg stared out at the sea.
"Are you enjoying your newly revealed identity?"


Kale hesitated, his face drawing into a concerned frown. "Em," he said, "I don't hate you or anything, honest!" Slowly stepping over, the teen wrapped an arm about her shoulders. "Look, you're drunk, I'm tipsy . . . this isn't the best time to be crying, alright?"
Leaning over to kiss her cheek, Kale sighed. "You're a total mess right now, Em!"

Tarra smirked, "it is fun but I know I will have to watch my back." she said then looked at Sieg. "but what are you looking for that is improtant?" she asked as she leand on the railing next to him.

Sieg remained silent, his brooding gaze slowly edging over to Tarra.
"I seek someone I lost long ago," he replied after many minutes of silence.
The large man seemed a bit uncomfortable with having Tarra so close to him, but stayed still, his toned form tense.
"But I have recently been thinking it's an impossible task," Sieg continued. His expression remained closed, and he sighed slightly. "So I just remain here, continuously pondering if I will ever find who I seek without actually looking."
He frowned.
"And you? Why do you remain on this ship?"

Tarra shrugged and looked out at the water. "I dont know, maybe it is the call of the ocean or the thought of being a pirate or being able to travel around and people not bother you. I dont know." she said and then looked at him. "I first came on here because of two reasons, one was because I needed to get away from some people but the other one I cant rememeber."

"Losing track of your reasons means you have grown comfortable," Sieg said, glancing over to her. "It is something I'm beginning to see . . . something I'm trying to hold off. I don't want to forget, though it seems inevitable." He shook his head.
"Thank you for bearing through everything all these years," the blond man said. "No one even thought you were . . . a woman." Sieg cringed. "I can't imagine how horrible life was for you."

Tarra sighed, "it wasn't too bad." she said softly and remembered all the years on here and not being able to get to close to anyone. "but I had made sure to keep it that way, I didnt' want anyone to find out. When someone did I would simply just toss them over board." she said and chuckled lightly as she remembered how many people she had tossed over board. "but it was hard to keep it a secret sometimes so it is nice not to keep it a secret for once."

"Right."
Sieg half-smiled at the thought of the missing crew members - presumably some of the unlucky chaps that had been tossed overboard.
"Do you need anything?" he asked in a sudden shift of moods. "Help with something, more supplies; anything you can think of?"

Tarra was surprised but smiled at Sieg, "thanks for the offer but I have everything I need. I have been dealing with this for a while So I am goo." she said and placed a hand on his arm. "but thanks for the offer, really. Your the only guy who has offered to help me in a long time." she said as she looked at him and smiled.

"And you're the only woman I've offered to help in a long while."
Sieg slowly looked back to the sea. He tensed, but did nothing when Tarra's hand rested on his arm.
"That offer remains open for you."

Sieg stepped away from the rail just in time to avoid a spash of water that misted the side of the ship. A fine spray of water coated the two of them, and the large man frowned. "The waves worsten," he commented. "We'll see the storm within the hour."


Rat stayed with his friend until the woman fell asleep. She would wake up with a horrid headache after all that alcohol, but she'd be alright. Stepping into the hall, he headed for the bunks. Sleep would do him good. . . .
