There are many avatar sites on the internet, Gaia just happens to be the most 'successful' one out there.
You can't call Boston a knockoff of New York because it doesn't have as many people =x

Menewsha doesn't give out free clothes because it's more fulfilling to earn your own clothes with hard work, and mene's never given out free clothes, so why would they start now? @_@ Some users might feel that they were jipped, not getting a big set of free clothes while the newbies start with a whole wardrobe.
