"Me?... Um i kinda ran away from home. I didnt want to be a boring farmer when parents had trained me as a rogue assassin.... They said they did it out of wanting me to know how to fight but i dont think i want to be a farmer after being trained like that. So im aout trying to find something. Anything" Shiloh said starying up at the sky after she asked her question. It was almost as if she was recollecting something but for her it was painful. She didnt show it but the memory of her parents was pretty painful.

"Well im sure they raised a great assassian," he said smiling slightly, "youll have to show me your skill, to train of course." he looked up at her. Looking around them he said " Well it looks like you found something pretty interesting here." then he loooked back at the fire laying down though keeping his sword close at hand.

"Ill have to take up on that offer sometime... Im just too lazy to do it now." Shiloh laid down next to him. Her tail was nowhere near the fire as her stomach was facing the fire. She could feel him next to her with his breathing quite calm and steady. "Well we actually kinda found eachother. It was just the three of us first. Ru Li, the one petting the wolves, and Lyna, the wolf that made you that clay model. You know if you didnt cover up your one wing, i bet she would have made you perfectly." She said changing the subject in the middle of it.

"My wing, is my shame." he said sadly, he was quite surprised she had laid so close to him. "Un fortantly i know not where i come from, but i have never been accpted so ive hidden my wing, Im sorry that i distroyed her model, but i cant see me with 2 wings. Please apologize for me to her." he said stretching his one wing.

"I think she understands now that she sees what you have.... It must be annoying to not know where you come from... but you belong here with us.... Well if that is what you wish. Im not much of a self conscience person and i dont believe anyone here is to self conscience either so youll fit right in.... I can tell you now that travelling helps me know you a little bit more... Travelling helps to keep you moving and then you train in the middle of the forest to hide from others. I stopped hiding my tail and ears because you know i found that i dont care what people think about me anymore. They can think what they want but i am what i am. I hope that you can be who you are as well." Shiloh said knowing she was a little confusing but she couldnt stop her voice from going and going to tell him that he was welcome here and that he didnt have to hide.

Balthazar laughed slightly, "I get what you mean. thank you." he said smiling slightly. Stretching his wing he poked her back with teh tip. "So what are you exactly," he said looking at her tail and ears. poking both with his wing.

Shiloh pushed his wing away as she laughed. She felt like she was being tickled or something. "Im a fox demon... Unlike the shifters, i can only change into a fox which works for me sometimes. She kept swiping at the wing to make it go away as she giggled from it poking her.

Lyna's head slipped off of Ri Lu's knee causing her to jump up and look around franticly. Noticing that there was no danger, she finally realized that she was hunger, so she walked over to Shiloh and Balthazar, and began to eat one of the rabbits raw. She didn't care what they thought she was hunger and it tasted good either way, the only thing of the rabbit that she wouldn't eat was the bones and head. She watched Shiloh and Balthazar silently as they talked, enjoying the company of other people for once.

Balthazar laughed as he dodged shilohs swipes with his wing, He actually was enjoying himself which was something he hadnt been able to do in forever. he looked up once at lyna and blushed, -oh shit- he thought looking down as he stopped poking shiloh. "Sorry" he said trying to hold back a laugh making the words jump out of his mouth.

Shiloh saw that he had been enjoying himself with poking her. It was fun to bat away at his wings. But she wasnt a cat and that is what cats did. Though it still seemed fun to her. When she was a cub she did it all the time before she learned to take human form at the age of 1. "Its totally fine.... You seemed to be having fun" She said laughing a little bit to herself.

"You were too." he said laughing poking her again, "Dont blame it all on mee", he couldnt help but giggle as he talked. he actuallly was really enjoying himself for the first time in a very long time. finally he stopped poking shiloh and decided to ask her, "will you ever see your parents again?"

Lyna watched and licked the blood off her muzzle, she picked up the other rabbit and took it over to them, dropping it in front of them. it was her way of telling them they should eat while they can. She lay down on her bag, yawning ((it would look kinda creepy/scary just a little)), things were going good to her, she liked everyone here, shes treatched alittle and restted her head on her front paws, watching the flames. Listening to Shiloh and Balthazar talking to one another, she didn't mind anything she just like being the silent companion to people.

Shiloh started to play with him as he poked her again, laughing while she did so. "OK OK... Its not just you" She said as she kept playing with him. Finally he stopped the barage of poking. The tickling feeling didnt stop until a few seconds later. He then asked her a personal question she never thought would come up. She thought about it for a minute. "Well i guess i might if i ever go back. They might take my new sister or brother who is about to come in and replace me... I guess you could say it depends on the future"

"Dont you think they will miss you?" he asked bluntly, before poking her once in the back. then his wing got a cramp so he stretched it out to its full length. It cracked once and he sighed as the pressure was released, then he poked her shoulder again. "And who or what is lyna? she.. isnt a fox .. and isnt a wolf... what is she?

"In truth... I just met her. From what i can tell shes an artistic shapeshifter. But as for my parents..... They seemed to welcome the fact that i went on my own. My rebellions against them seemed to make them grateful though i dont believe that to be the case. They might miss me in the end." Shiloh played with the wing as it poked her more and more. She almost wanted to change into her fox form just to be able to play with it.

When Lyna heard the question about her being asked she couldn't help but shift back into her human form. "Shiloh, is correct. I am a shapeshifter always have been, but i prefur to run around as a fox." She said as she gave a big yawn, she was tired but she didn't mind, she pulled some clay out and started to make a sculpture of Balthazar again but this time with the missing wing.

Balthazar looked up surprised at lyna, as she spoke, she was a shapeshifter. he let his wing drop covering shiloh, "So you prefer to be a fox why?" he asked looking at he working the clay again. "Im sorry about what i did before, i just ... i just cant stand seeing me 2 wings, it reminds me of what im not."

"It is okay at least your apologizing to me. I was serious when i said i was going to bite you if you didn't apologize, but as you saw i lost interest in it. To your question about why I prefer to be a fox........it is complicated........" Lyna said as she started to carve each indevidual feather in the wing, she looked over at Balthazar and Shiloh, she stopped playing with the clay for a moment to pull another piece out. She added it to the one of Balthazar, as she started to play with it again it began to look like Shiloh and Balthazar as they were laying in front of Lyna at that moment.

The wing covered Shiloh like a blanket. It comforted her as she closed her eyes. The feeling of a long awaited sleep crept over her. The soothingness of his wing covering her was just too much to let her stay awake. She fell asleep completely in a matter of seconds. Her body stays still underneath the wing of this strange man.

It was dark, the stars and moon casting lovely shadows down into the forest. Batara padded through the thick foliage, her black pelt glistening in whatever light caught it. She was on the prowl. She had been away from her tribe for over a week now and surviving on her own was now becoming quite easy. Branches broke in the distance and the wind direction changed. There was a rabbit near by. Batara let out a happy, growl-like purr as she changed her course just slightly.

Her feline eyes allowed her to see the rabbit, it looked oblivious to her presence. That was, until the wind changed direction again giving away her sent. The rabbit took off and Batara followed. It didn't matter that she was about the size of a horse, she was keeping up with the little creature for every leap and bound. A couple bounds later and she was on top of it. She devoured the corpse in a gulp practically due to her sheer size.

Once the creature was swallowed, the cat lifted its enormous head into the air and sniffed. She smelled smoke and smoke usually meant people and food. She followed the scent. She followed it until the crackling came to her ears and the fire and embers lit up the forest that surrounded it. She growled lowly as she lowered her body to the ground. She was hunting now, not prowling. She edged her way closer to what she was to guess was a camp sight. Once she was close enough she saw 3 beings, their species/origins she did not know. What she did know was she was hungry and that they looked mighty tastey.

((Oh no your going to eat us... Oh by the way i think theres actually like five people there but im not sure.))

Shiloh tensed up. There was something about the air around them that felt like there was danger. Was it bandits? Had the fire spread? No she had been staring at the fire. So what was this feeling she had. There was the scent of something here as well. It didnt smell of anything she had ever met before. Some sort of cat though. That was certain. She pushed her torso up off the ground sitting up. The others seemed to have fallen asleep but she was wide awake. She snagged the swords she had that lay right next to her. Her daggers and stars were already on her belt. She had to see what was out there but didnt feel like getting up just in case it was really nothing at all. The embers lit up her eyes as she stared at it for a moment. Then she looked around the perimeter. She still hadnt stood up.

Lyna felt Shiloh move and it woked her up, she quickly shifted to a bigger wolf form and growled. That was wnem she noticed Shiloh was still there next to her. She looked around to see what had caused Shiloh to wake up, seeing nothing, she nudge her in between her shoulder blades as if to say i see nothing so whay are you a wake. She didn't like it when other people were on guard, it told her to be on guard, she looked around one last time before she layed back down in her spot next to Shiloh, hopping that things were fine.
