(Please note that the creatures in the list are NOT all of the one's I will accept. I've very open to any creatures so long as their not something overly used like vampires and werewolves. :D)
Plot
Myths of old, people have surely heard of the fairy tales of fantastical creatures. Most believed them to be merely made up, but what if there was some truth to these tales of old? Back in the ancient world there were those that guarded the ancient myths and their hidden secret, the myths were true. There were indeed creatures that existed in the supernatural world and lived in this plane. As the world evolved these creatures were written off as non existent and very few questioned this thinking. Soon people began writing off supernatural events as scientific phenomenons, even if some of them didn't fit. The truth of course was that even though the world evolved these creatures remained, however they too evolved and adapted to the changing world. They've adapted human forms and merged into those that were once their guardians. Of course they could never create a perfect human replica and so retain certain physical 'abnormalities' of their true forms. Some had skin that contained scales, others seemed to have wings in place of arms or upon their backs, some had horns while others flippers or talons, ensized canines or could only tolerate meat. At first these abnormal 'humans' were deemed outcasts and shunned, but as the years went on what had made them different began to be seen as survival advantages and soon humans began trying to copy these abnormalities.
The world now contains many of these genetically altered humans as well as the true mythological creatures. Of course there was something that only the originals could accomplish that the 'created' could not, they could shift to their original forms. This of course had been kept secret for hundreds of years, but now some of the creatures have had enough of the falsified humans and the unknown insults they've given. This group calls themselves Mythnos (Liable to change) and desire to put the humans in their place by destroying most of their race and ruling over the rest with fear and chaos. The group contains mythical creatures both small and large, once deemed evil or benign. Of course though not all of the creatures share the sentiments of the others and instead strive to prevent the succession of Mythnos and their plans. They currently call themselves Saga (Liable to change). This group wishes to come out of hiding and coexist with the altered and unaltered humans. They wish to show the humans more and teach them. This group too contains various creatures once deemed evil and benign as well as even a few altered and unaltered humans.
Two factions, each with different goals. Desiring the disbandment of the other and preventing their goals from being achieved. A new legend and myth shall be written this day...
Setting
As the humans altered themselves they too have altered the areas around them to be more hospitable and advantageous to their adaptions. Different living areas such as tree cities, underwater villages, cave societies, and other communities that utilize nature have sprung up, some in places that weren't possible before such as in volcanoes. Of course areas such as skyscraper cities and metal utopias still exist and thrive, although they're becoming rarer and rarer. This particular legend starts in a village near one of these rarities. The village contains homes of stone and mud, surrounded by a thriving and healthy forest that splits the metal world and natural world a bit to the west. An area perfect for just about any type of creature. A bit to the south lies a decent size body of water that is home to creatures and altereds alike. To the norther region lie a few caves for those of the dark affinity. To a bit to the east the forest and trees fade into rivers of sand and heat. The village itself is a good place for the altereds and actual mythical creatures in human guises to come and do business with each other, such as trading or even conversing and mingling. This area is more prone to Saga group meeting areas while the metal city area contains more Mythnos meeting areas. Naturally of course all of the surrounding areas have a bit of both in them.
Time/Season
The current date is Lumenus 38, 3021 A.E. The time is 6:41 A.M. and it's the start of Spring so the air is still a little crisp out. It had rained the night before and the clouds above promise yet another sprinkle later in the day. It's starting to brighten out, although the sun itself is slightly hidden behind fluffy graying clouds. Many creatures, both nocturnal and day dwelling are either waking up now or about to settle down for some rest during the day, although they shall emerge later on even though they're primarily nocturnal. Days of the week no longer matter nor are in use although if one were to attempt to match it, it would be a Tuesday.
Rules
1. Standard Mene rules apply
2. I will allow things like weapons of your imaginations, but please try and keep them reasonable. I don’t want someone who carries around a giant cow catapult with them wherever they go, no matter how funny that would be.
3. Literacy isn’t too important though please don’t capitalize every single word It Gets Really Annoying! It is also a pet peeve of mine.
4. I will accept one liners since I can understand things like writer’s block but, please make it a sentence that people can work off of. Don’t put something like: “She smiled.” That is not a sentence and it makes it very very difficult to work off of. Something like: “He ran outside to get away from everyone” is easier to work with.
5. Always leave a ‘door’ open for people’s character’s to come in if someone leaves.
6. Don’t go too incredibly far without someone which should help with rule #5, although I can understand excitement or if someone doesn't come on for days.
7. No invincible characters, if they’re really good at something that’s alright but if there’s a fight let them get injured a couple of times if attacked.
8. Don’t take control of other peoples characters unless you have their permission. For example if Joey needs to go because it’s bed time and says Nina can play his character while he’s gone then that’s alright.
9. Anyone is welcomed to jump in at any time despite the page number.
10. Bios or intros are both accepted. Choose whichever you’re more comfortable with though bios make it easier to refer off of and for me to post up with the others.
11. Please don’t kill another person’s character without their permission. (Note this ties in with #8)
12. Don’t create more characters than you can handle.
13. Keep things PG-13 please. Violence, gore and romance is allowed, this includes actual mythical creatures and altered humans romance. However what I don't want to see is Mythical/Altered nookie alright? You know what's acceptable on here and what's not. You can hint to things though if again it's something overly graphic keep the hint very very VERY very vague...
14. Have some way of distinguishing between your character text and you’re out of character (OOC).
15. Ask to join if you want but it’s not required. With your characters please PM me your character profiles to be accepted. Due note that I will be going through and posting up your profiles on my first post, in quotes of course, when they are accepted so that it's easier for others to have access to your characters info. I am a fairly lenient person so more than likely your character will be immediately accepted, due note though if I do find something that needs a bit of improvement I will PM you back telling you what that improvement is. I will also send a confirmation PM to you to tell you that your character has been accepted.
16. Please keep things fairly even. I don’t want one Mythnos member, one Saga member and 15 altered humans that are undecided.
17. Please, please, please for the love of all things holy and unholy read everyone’s post. If you skip reading them you may very well be missing a crucial detail pertaining to the storyline or your character indirectly. I can’t stress this enough!
18. Please either choose one of the creature's mentioned below or if you want to create one of your own/know of one of the lesser mythical creatures that aren't mentioned in the list and you would like to play please talk with me or let me know about it first. I'm up for any creative or inventive mythical creatures, however I don't want an uber powerful one like a god of all mythical creatures or one that invinsible or something like that. Also if you create your own tell me a few things about it, as I'll be curious. I'll also be asking you if you'd like me to add your creature to the list so please keep that in mind. If you don't that's fine, if you do that's fine too. :D
19. I don't want creatures that are overly used. In other words NO: vampires (No arguements), angels (No arguments), werewolves (No arguments), or anything you see a lot of on the threads. This is a chance for creatures that people don't commonly use or maybe even heard of to get a chance to shine in the roleplay light for once. If you have something like a Merevamp (vampiric meremaid that a friend of mine invented. XD) then that's fine. I don't care if you have something that might have qualities or parts of creatures that are used a lot, aka hybrids of some sorts, like just a vampire.
20. To make sure you've read, understand and are willing to follow my many rules (sorry about that  ) I would like you to put your favorite smilie (be it a Mene one or a more texty one) either at the top/bottom of your profile PM or in the PM subject area.
21. And one final (hopefully) rule: please be respectful towards others here. It’s alright if your character hates another person’s character, due to the plot of this rp, but don’t be rude, crude, or mean to someone in OOC. I’d like this to go rather peacefully.

Banshee - A creature, usually depicted either as a frightening old hag or a beautiful young woman whose song can control people or animals, and whose shriek can kill all those who hear it.
Werepyre - (The only real reason this has been accepted is because it's a bit uncommon. However I do not want an over abundance of these and shall probably only accept about 2-3 total.) A cross between a vampire and werewolf.
Sempiel (Pronounced – Sim – pile) – A rare mythical creature that resembles a fairy. Made specifically of either matching or contradicting elements. They are very rare and hard to find. They are made up entirely of one main element (Earth, Air, Water, and Fire) and one semi element (Moon, Ice, Lave, Wood, ect.). They are typically shy and never seem keen to meet new people. (~Came from LilMissMollyPutz)
Naga--A serpentine being with varying lines of lineage said to have originated from the Orient. Bala's clan has the distinctive characteristics of having four arms while in their true form and a voracious carnal appetite in addition to being hairless. (~Came from Lehjamin)

Character Skeleton
Menewsha Name:
Name: (To prevent people at first from knowing mythical creatures were real, some took on different names. Once they've revealed themselves however they can return to their myth name or keep the human one they've claimed)
Age: (Please put some number here, preferably within reason. I don't want any altered humans being too much older than say 120. Actual mythical creatures get a little more leniency with age, though let's not do something like 7854984639876589764897. So preferably don't go over seven or eight digits. I'd also rather people didn't do something like 'Since the beginning of time' or 'too old to remember', just put a reasonable number please. :D)
Gender: (I'd prefer they'd have a gender but if you absolutely must be ambiguous then alright, but I don't want everyone choosing this option. I want primarily males and females please. :D)
Race: (Altered human, regular human or mythical creature)
Myth: (If you're a mythical creature put which one you are. If you're an altered human put which one your based from. If you're a normal human simply ignore this.)
Personality: (Please put an actual personality here and not “you’ll find out” or “TBA”) The heirs of both sides already have some of a personality created in the context but feel free to add on to them, in fact I encourage it.
Powers: (Ok all let's not get over our heads on this one. Altered humans can have some of the powers of mythical creatures while actual mythical creatures get all of them so long as they're within reason. For example if one of the creatures are deemed a god over everything (not that I think there's currently one in the list) and can control everything with the wink of his eye, you'll probably will not get that power. If that was they're only power then think up something else. :D)
Weakness: (This'll help with the power thing too. For every power you have you must have one weakness to balance it. :D)
Appearance/Looks: (I like pictures, they're fun to look at, but if you can't find one then a description is fine just be sure to be detailed. If you're a mythical creature make sure that your character has something in their humanish form that relates to their true forms. Same with altered humans. If need be you can post a regular picture and find something like horns, skin colors/types or wings, or whatever that you like as a separate picture and say they have them. Mythical creatures will for sure be posting two pictures. One must be your humanish guise one and the other your true form. I have checked on the internet and I have been able to find pictures of ALL of the mythical creatures I currently have listed. If I can find them you can too. :D Altered humans and normal humans will only have to post one (unless of course the altereds do the separate appendages thing) and will NOT have a true form. For them what they post is what they have.)
Side: (Mythnos, Saga, neutral or undecided? Remember to keep the sides even.)
Bio/History: (Put something here please lol. If your a mythical creature or an altered go ahead and put a bit of the myth of the creature in here. Preferably in your own words so we don't have to worry about copyrights and such. Though if you do get something directly from someone else or a website or something be sure to give them some credit in () and quote the parts you used so you don't get in trouble. You can also make up your own myths and legends about the creatures if you want. Be creative too, I don't want the same story over and over again just with a different creature as the main character. This is your chance to be creative! :D)
Other: (Optional. Put anything else you want us to know about your character here like likes, dislikes, mate preference, and so on and so forth. :D)
*Everything else is pretty much optional.
Sides (There can be more than simply five on each side. I'm simply putting only five numbers to conserve space right now so they are NOT limited to only five. :D)
Mythnos:
1. Terrace or Tristan Skyler (Griffin) - Marsyas
2. Satetsu Damasu (Sphinx) - Arechi
3. Tenshi Prima (Furie) - Sezumie

Accepted Bios
Menewsha Name: Arechi
Name: Daiki Watanabe (Real name - Raiju)
Age: 641,204 (Though his current body is no older than 23)
Gender: Male
Race: Original Mythical Creature
Myth: Raiju
Personality: Typically calm and rather harmless to most Daiki prefers to look at things at a slightly logical approach. He is generally friendly to most and shows respect to those that show respect to him. During thunder and lightning storms he seems to come out of his calm shell and gets rather excited. Although he's usually docile, thunder and lightning storms aside, he can become agitated and when that happens look out as he will not hesitate to shoot a bit of lightning their way. At that point it's best to steer clear of him and allow him to calm down. A sure signal of him being agitated is he will let a cry that sounds like thunder and will start leaping about in trees, buildings, fields, anything that he's currently surrounded by and cause lightning to strike there.
Powers: Summons lightning and thunder storms when agitated or at will. He is also very nimble and agile to the point where his movements look to mimic those of monkeys, cats, raccoon dogs, weasels or wolves. Like all original mythical creatures if he is killed in his human form he will merely revert to his true form rather than die.
Weakness: He can not break or harm rubber things, and if caught in a rubber trap he will be unable to break free of it himself. If he's in a small enclosed area the thunder he summons can and will harm his hearing to the point he goes temporarily deaf for a period of time. Although quick and nimble he cannot move very well on slick or icy objects/grounds. Although when his human body is killed he doesn't die, if he is killed while in his true form he will die, like all mythical beasts would.
Appearance/Looks: Humanish -
True form -
Side: Saga
Bio/History: Daiki was born into the realm of thunder and lightning in the world of old. Back then he simply went by the name Raiju and commonly traveled with lightning gods, the most notable being Raijin the Shinto god of lightning, where he would assist in creating the needed thunder and lightning storms that brought rain to drought lands. For years he continued his travels, watching the world below, until finally after thousands of years his curiosity reached his peak and he just had to go down and see what this ever changing world was all about. He descended from the heavens and skies above in a brilliant flash of lightning and began his investigations of the world. Little did he know though that he had committed taboo by going down to the world of man, and by the time it did it was already too late. He was condemned to never being able to return to the Heavens, although he was free to roams the skies and continue spreading the thunder and lightning storms.
Quietly he lived in hiding where he could, that is until the world began changing. It was only a few thousand years later that his hiding spots in the world were slowly starting to be discovered. In fear of capture the thunder beast took the drastic measure of transferring his essence and being into that of a fetus and be born as something that was human yet not. Of course the child looked human with the difference of his lion ears and wolf tails, things he had retained from his true form. The child grew in a world as an outcast of the world, lived as an outcast, eventually died as an outcast, and returned to bestial form for the process to repeat itself. As of now he has gone through over 10,000 humanish bodies and is currently in his newer one that goes by the name Daiki Watanabe. He has also found himself on the side of the group called Saga. He has no desire to allow the world he had given his rights in the heavens up for to be thrown into chaos and ruin.
Other: Daiki has found over the years that there really is no difference between having a male or female mate and has no real preference in terms of it. He also has an affinity for not only lightning and thunder but shiny and glittery objects as well.
Menewsha Name: Arechi
Name: Satetsu Damasu (Though in the past she was simply referred to as Sphinx)
Age: 11,900 (Her human form however looks roughly no older than somewhere in her middle 20's)
Gender: Female
Race: Mythical creature
Myth: Sphinx
Personality: Satetsu is fairly sly and at many times very deceitful. She would not hesitate to try and trick or fool those that stand in her way, using both her mind and exotic looks to her advantage. At times she can be a bit overconfident and fierce while other times she more calm and calculating, preferring merely to watch. She is not one that would go out of her way to protect those she deems 'unworthy of such and honor.' Gaining her trust and loyalty can at times be rather tricky as she does very well in hiding most of her intentions and would not hesitate to betray those that she again deems 'unworthy' despite whether or not they are also on the side of Mythnos. She believes the weak of mind and will have no place existing in the world. In everything that she does, Satetsu has an ulterior purpose or intent that are many of times unclear to others. This and combined with the fact she can be difficult to read at times makes her a rather dangerous being to go against.
Powers: Satetsu can cause people to stray from their paths through her words and riddles if her sights have been set on them. She also has power to control dry sand and bend it to her will or make it into any shape of her choosing as well as 'harden' it enough to be used as a shield or stand on safely. In her true form she can track and 'see' anyone her true eyes have laid upon.
Weakness: Satetsu has her own personal riddle, that if tricked into asking and solved by another will cause her death. She cannot control or will lose control over sand that has been dampened and turned to mud, so control over quicksand isn't possible for her. She cannot track someone unless she has seen them with her true form's eyes instead of her 'human' eyes. If asked a riddle herself that she doesn't know the answer to she will stop what she is doing to try and figure it out. (I only ask that you don't torture me too badly with this one, as I really will attempt to find the answer to it. XD)
Appearance/Looks: Humanish -
True form -
Side: Mythnos
Bio/History: Born as a sphinx Satetsu was born into the life of being a guardian over various temples and cities of the past. Back then she too did not go by the name Satetsu but rather the Sphinx to most, though when spoken about a title such as the Sphinx of Gorgon Temple would be added on to tell her apart from others of her kind. For the first 9,504 years of her life she dutifully served her purpose as guardian over her cities and temples, protecting the citizens and worshipers. As a Sphinx she used riddles to deter threats, for if they couldn't answer three riddles correctly or gave an incorrect answer to even one of the riddles she would mercilessly devour them right then and there. However as she guarded these beings she found herself becoming curious about those she guarded. It wasn't long before the Sphinx's curiosity got the better of her, and after devouring one particular woman used her essence to forge a human body of her own, although she discovered she could not hide all of her Sphinx qualities. At the time though she was far too curious or excited to really care and found herself wandering into one of the many cities she guarded. At the time though there were no altered humans and so instead of greeted warmly and accepted she was greeted with animosity, fear, distrust and pain.
She soon found herself an outcast in the city, at times running for her very life from the humans she had protected for so long. She could not understand how a race of so many different types and ones she protected would treat her this way and slowly began questioning the purpose of her life. In an attempt to regain her faith in humanity she traveled to one of the four temples she had protected in an attempt to find acceptance and understanding. However for the Sphinx, like in the city she was treated with fear and distrust to the extent that the elders of the temple declared 'that one that looks so much as a demon whore has no place in such a Holy place of worship' and was soon chased from the temple steps as stones, sticks and various other objects were thrown at her. To her that was the final and devastating blow. In anger the Sphinx denounced her guardian status and rose up, slaughtering the citizens and temple worshipers as well as destroying the temples and cities themselves during a siege by a neighboring city that had not been in her jurisdiction.
From then on she abandoned the area that was once her home to search for a new place and a new purpose. During her travels the Sphinx found herself turning more and more bitter as her hatred of the human race grew as she watched their ways of deceiving one another and treating those different than them, and so in retaliation she would go out of her way to lure unsuspecting passerby's with her charm and words of her more human form then ruthlessly devour them. She had also chosen to take on the name Satetsu Damasu meaning 'sand trick' as her origins came from a land of sand and she would trick people.
Throughout the years her rage grew and reached a peak as altered humans began to pop up and be accepted. It enraged her that when she had chosen to come and mingle with the human race they had shunned her, but now chose to copy what had made her different and accept it into society. This has caused her to dedicate herself to wiping out the race that had caused her so much misery be they normal or altered.
Other: Although Satetsu has renounced her role as a guardian and has abandoned what was once her home she still dresses the same as she had those thousands of years ago, despite the fact that no one dresses in such a way anymore. In terms of love and a mate the Sphinx has yet to encounter anyone that piques her interest.

Age: 401,028 (looks to be about 20)
Gender: Female
Race: Mythical Creature
Myth: Phoenix
Personality: Arilla is a being of emotion rather than logic- while she can think reasonably, she's usually overcome by her passions, and is more prone to following them than any real logical decision. While normally a happy and upbeat personality, she becomes depressed and moody during the rain. Arilla is a pacifist by nature, and can't stand to see death. She will, however, defend herself and her friends when it comes down to it. She's been accused of acting like a human teenager.
Powers: Pyrokinetic and a healer. She's very athletic and can run fast enough that it looks as if she's flying (which sometimes she is). She's very difficult to kill, being life incarnate, but it is possible. It's even harder to keep her from reincarnating from the ashes.
Weakness: Water. Lock her up someplace damp and her powers weaken greatly, to the point where she can become ill, even deathly so. Drowning is one of the few ways to kill her.
Appearance/Looks:
True form:
Human form:
(I am having a lot of trouble getting these pictures to post for some reason)
Side: Saga
Bio/History: Arilla is one of the few Phoenixes- born from the white hot flames of a dragon (whom Arilla jokingly refers to as her mother), she is fiery and passionate about everything she does. Before taking up life among the humans, she answered the name Zoe (prounounced zoi, not zo-ee), which mean 'eternal life.' Very few people- mythical or human- know or remember this name, though she'll still respond to it out of habit. Arilla, unlike most mythical beings trapped on Earth, had always lived among the mortals, whether they knew it or not. Arilla loves humanity (well, most of it. Some people are just jerks), and has sided with Saga in order to save it and the life of all the creatures that would die with the humans if Mythnos has its way.
Other: There are so few other Phoenixes in the world, Arilla's really not too picky about mates. In fact, her choices don't even limit themselves to her own species- she's currenly fostering a bit of a liking for a certain Raiju.

Powers: Gusting winds, lightning, and hail. She can whip up a storm like no other. Vanille can also make vines that extend from her hands that she generally uses as her weapons. She has quite a knowledge of poisonous plants due to her nature control. The genie in her only makes her nature elements greater.
Weakness: Fire, fire is any earthly things weakness. It easily burns down all living plants. Also if someone restricts her hands or legs and prevents movement it makes it hard for her to control things. This is because her powers involve a large bit of movement.
Appearance/Looks:
Side: Undecided
Bio/History: As a young girl Vanille had always loved mythology. She read books upon books to increase her knowledge in these areas. Then as a young girl she was taken away from her family to be used as an experiment (thus her young appearance though older age). Her body was infused with the hybrid qualities of a genie and a nymph. Nymph’s are generally beautiful women who roam the earth creating beautiful works of art threw nature. Genie’s are deceitful and masters of elements. This created the perfect weapon to defend them from any attacks. To their surprise Vanille opted against them. She said she would not fight for someone which she knew nothing about. Now she wanders with no cause. Of course she has said if someone can convince her to either side she would join, but no one has yet to do that.
Other: Her other weapons are a harp and two crescent shaped blades. The harp is used to call on her animal friends.

Bio/History: Growing up he was always a rebel. He never wanted to hear about the rules nor did he want to oblige by them. As a young boy he ran away from home only to run into Vanille. She doesn’t talk about it because she is quite closed off, but since he was around seven he has been traveling with her. He doesn’t know her story because she still won’t even let those details out to him. Acelin wants to follow Vanille though he hopes that maybe they will join one side one day.
Other: His weapon is a gun blade that Vanille sometimes uses her magic to infuse with certain capabilities.

If you are her friend, then she will be loyal and protective of you until she breaths her last breath. If you've just met, then she'll be wary of you until you've earned her trust. Bio/History: Long ago, Aaralyn fell in love with a human and used the power of her voice to lure him to her. Eventually, he fell in love with her for real without the use of her powers. However, they didn't stay together long. They were being mugged one day, and while two of them held Aaralyn, the other three beat up her lover. Crying, she screamed, using her power to kill them. Although, she also killed her lover, and never forgave herself for it. She still has an oval-shaped silver locket with a sparrow sitting on a branch on it that has his picture in it. Powers: Her two main attacks are Guard Skill: Hand Sonic, which causes blades to come out of her sleeves/hands, and Guard Skill: Distortion, which allows projectiles to in a sense, go through her. She has the ability to create illusions and to teleport, which she doesn't use to often.

Tenshi also cannot die, but if you do shoot (or stab, etc.) her in the heart she will stay immobile ranging from a few minutes to long hours

Race: Human Hybrid

Personality: She is new and shy, but won’t deny anyone the pleasure of her fiery personality. She isn’t very outspoken and usually won’t say anything with words, but rather her body and eyes.
Powers: She has the power to heal wounds of most any size, turn into a bird, and to control fire to an extent.
Weakness: She only has one life on the human side, she cannot fly to heights as high as most phoenix, and she cannot touch fire directly without a somewhat lasting injury.
Appearance/Looks: (Human and Phoenix form)
Side: Undecided
Bio/History: Being part phoenix she has lived a long life, although a good 50 of them were quite boring as she was too young to do anything. The phoenix is well known for its ability to fly high and fast, while keeping a strong and elegant fiery look. Many myths are mad for them, but Alexandria’s father was a particularly obscure, but very infamous, phoenix. He was known for leading many young, and infertile, girls away to grant their wishes for children. Most of these girls had husbands and he would give the girls their husbands’ child, instead of his own. These offspring were very much human but had strong strength with fire. One young maiden had called to him in her time of need. She had sworn to be maiden her life to honor her mother, who had also called to the phoenix for a young child. The maiden was very beautiful and, although an offspring of the phoenix, very much the phoenix’s downfall. He granted the girl her wish for a child, to be the most beautiful child of that land, and she was. The young girl was the only true daughter of the phoenix, thus being the rare hybrid of a phoenix. Unfortunately her mother had died giving birth to Alexandria, for never being marked by physical love, the strain was too much for the maiden to handle. Feeling true love for the maiden though, the phoenix gave his immortality away to grant the maiden her life again. Becoming a normal human he was no longer able to give young girls the wish to have children, but most still wish for him to visit them. Outliving her human parents by many years Alexandria has fended for herself since she had been 62 years old, 6 years in phoenix years. Her parents had died happily together, being connected by the same life, from old age. They had trained her to live for herself, knowing she would still be young when they died. The maiden and the once phoenix now care for her through spirit now, connected as one as the great phoenix now. She is now thirteen, living as a human and never staying in the same place for long. She is well known for helping those in need, and coming to their aid just in time. Known through the lands as the phoenix healer most call for her help at their worst times. She is most known for her strange ways of healing with fire, and for disappearing the moment she has finished helping those who need it. Since it is a recent title, from the year alone, most think she is a normal human girl of the age thirteen.
Other: She is a very strong girl, who hides her strength through compassion. Like her father she is very compassionate for those that are less fortunate than she. Because of the loss of her parents she does not stay in one place for long, nor becomes attached to people. She is so far a maiden, hoping to find someone of whom she can love freely without fear of losing him to age.

They are made up entirely of one main element (Earth, Air, Water, and Fire) and one semi element (Moon, Ice, Lave, Wood, ect.). They are typically shy and never seem keen to meet new people.
Personality: She is a very shy creature, and usually stays hidden. Once you actually take the time to meet her she will become a little more open to you. It does take some time for her to get used to things, unless she’s hyper where as she will meet new people easily, but she usually keeps a cold calm, that also seems unusually warm as well.
Powers: She is made of earth and the moon, thus giving her the ability over the earth and the moon.
Weakness: She is greatly weak against fire, and without her elements around she is only as powerful as a regular human, but in a fairy’s form.

Bio/History: Like most sempei (Pronounced Sim – pi – Plural) Diana has little history. She is named after the moon goddesses, Diana of Rome, Artemis of Greece, and Luna of the moon. She is well known in the sempei for her unusually outgoing personality, even if only when hyper. Like most she masks as either a human or a fairy, despite the small but important differences from bother, and tries to stay unnoticed. She is a very independent spirit unlike the rest and instead of staying in a tribe she wonders alone to frolic with the plain animals, but still stays away from mythical creatures and humans. Despite her differences she is the wisest of the sempei, due to being a rare moon spirit. She is very well known around the lands for her great wisdom and light age and many creatures, mythical creatures, humans, alike will try to seek her out for advice, but only those who really need her help can find her. Menewsha Name: Lehjamins
Name: Balarama Laxman
Age: (Human) 42, 1587 (actual)
Gender: Male
Race: Mythological Creature
Myth: Naga--A serpentine being with varying lines of lineage said to have originated from the Orient. Bala's clan has the distinctive characteristics of having four arms while in their true form and a voracious carnal appetite in addition to being hairless.
Personality: Bala is quite the lecherous member of Mythnos; he keeps "lovers" as a socialite would stick with a purse--it is unusual to see him stick with the same partner for an extended period of time--which, for him, is longer than a couple of years. And even with that, he's always flirting and putting on the "perfect pervy gentleman" mask. He's proven to be a comical, sarcastic guy with a laid-back attitude. Under this mask hides the tech-savy, cold-blooded naga that pools resources for Mythnos.
Powers: Down his line comes a form of glamory--the ability to make himself look much better than what anyone would observe. This only works as a sort of mechanism to raise his chances in the "human" world. This is the extent of his physical abilities.
Weakness: Bala carries with him the weakness of any snake; he can't adjust very well in cold climates. Indeed, it would quickly rob him of his warmth.
As a coward, he never really adapted any form of fighting. He lacks the combat skills that Mythnos prizes. On top of that, he's never invested in any armor for himself; his underbelly is a prime target for attack.
Poor Bala has a phobia of mongooses, yet another damnable clan trait!
Music has an interesting effect on him; if the tune is good enough, then he will stare transfixed at where the sound is coming from--all the time someone would need to land an attack.
Due to his nature, Bala is rather difficult to restrain when his "urges" come about. It frustrates him to no end, even as he tries to cover it up with social refinement.
Appearance/Looks: At 4'10 and 190 lbs., Bala's probably considered to be a short stack in his human form. Dark ginger skin has patches of yellow scales that flicker along the affected areas--namely along the wrists, neck, and back. Chocolate eyes peer out at the world and rest under a bulbous nose and thick lips. He has no hair or ears on his body, but earholes which are oftentimes concealed with hats. A closer look at his teeth would show that they're thin and fold backwards, and conceals within his maw a forked tongue.
His body, when he steps out of his human skin, is covered in scales of black, yellow, and burnt sienna. From the top of his head to the tip of his tail, he stands at 7'6 and weighs at an intimidating 447; it's easy to see that in his true form, he's overweight for his species.
Side: Mythnos
Bio/History: Naga have played a positive role in the the unseen histories of humanity; one was said to have helped Buddha, others have said to been priests, dispersing knowledge to whom they've deemed worthy. Such is no exception to the family that Balarama belonged to. While Balarama was young, this was one of the questions that he asked. "Why do we help them harm themselves, and us? what purpose do they serve other than just food for others?" These unanswered questions left a burning sense of rage and revulsion; he cared little for humans, though he was always by them to observe, and, well, do more than flirting as an ego-boost. He would later brek away from his family to serve himself first, then later serve Mythnos. He is grateful to serve Mythnos, as this let him have fun on the side. Bala looks at Altereds with ambivalence; his lovers are more often Altereds, but that's what the primary choice is given his lusts.
Other: Bala's facination with human technology technology knows no bounds! Any new trinket is treasure for him. It's probably the reason why he's gained such acclaim for his talents.
He doesn't have any particular preference for mates as he never really keeps any sort of mate for long. Especially if it's a human.
He's known to be quite the snob, but given the chance, he's gregarious when he sees an opportunity to share his knowledge.

In Character Post
Morning, a time that Daiki enjoyed. During his time in the world of man he had discovered that morning was the most peaceful of times. Gazing up towards the sky he also noted that there appeared to be a chance that later on in the day there would possibly be a storm. The very thought of a storm made the thunder beast's hair stand up on the back of his neck. "Though judging from the clouds it won't be until much later on unfortunately. I can't wait to be roaming amongst the clouds once more" he said, his tone clearly a pleased one as a small smile graced his lips as he closed his now crimson eyes. It wasn't that he didn't like his current form, just like his humanish bodies before it fit him quite nicely, but to be in his true form was always just so...right. Calmly he inhaled deeply the air that promised a storm before opening his eyes once more. A meeting had been called for those of the Saga faction in this area, which is what had brought him from his current peaceful tree home to the village he stood in now. At the moment there was a fair amount of people out and about, most probably altered humans while perhaps a few were true mythical creatures like himself. The thunder beast didn't mind though. Altered humans, regular humans, mythical creatures was there really a difference? After all they all were in some sense living and breathing the same air as the one next to them. Did it really matter if some of the humans chose to gain the differences that once caused him and others to be shunned? If anything he saw the altered humans as a promise that the myths would never fade, that mythical creatures would always have a place in this world.
Calmly he shook his head to clear away his thoughts. He was merely procrastinating and he had somewhere he needed to be. 'There's no time to be dwelling on such thoughts right now' he thought with a sigh and began to make his way down what was deemed the main path of the village. At the end of the path and to the right, in the basement of the large stone social building the headquarters of Saga was housed, at least within this village. Daiki calmly made his way towards the aforementioned building, nodding his head in acknowledgment here and there and slightly waving at others. Although he was slightly rushed he still took the time to take in the sights he passed. On either side of the beaten path stands with various items stood proudly though only some held people behind them. One particular stand of objects that seemed to shine and glow caught Daiki's eye. For a few moments he paused where he was before wandering over to the stand. He figured a quick look at what was being sold wouldn't hurt. His crimson eyes gazed upon what appeared to be vast treasures that seemed to come out of some fairy tail. Jewels, glass objects, beads, and various other items were scattered about the top of the wooden stand. Behind it an older woman began withdrawing more objects with various designs and symbols on them. She appeared to be one of the few regular humans left the thunder beast judged from her appearance. She didn't appear to have any extra appendages or out of place skin features. Her eyes were a normal hazel color and her hair a brownish gray, a clear sign of her aging. Her hands and face were slightly wrinkled giving her an almost grandmotherly appearance. "Anything I can help you with young man?" the woman's voice rang out sounding fresh like dew and sweet like honey but clearly held a slight sound of age and wisdom behind it.
"Hm? Oh no I'm merely just looking madam. I thank you though" Daiki said, his rich though slightly dark voice echoed though in a soothing manner like the end of a thunder storm that still had droplets of rain falling from the clouds as his eyes seemed particularly drawn to a small crimson glass container that seemed to resemble his own crimson eyes. Within the container an imitation of lightning within jumped and jolted here and there. The cat eared beast clearly knew that it wasn't real lightning within, but it caught his interest nevertheless. He knew though that although he liked the item he would be unable to purchase such a wondrous treasure, at least in his eyes. It wasn't that the item was expensive for any person with money, but rather it was the simple fact that his own funds were currently short. In truth the creature felt no need for the man made currency, after all anything he needed he could easily provide himself.

Arilla frowned as she looked upward at the sky. Great, more rain. Not exactly what I was looking forward too today. The Phoenix, currently in her human body, looked around the market square. Several modified humans were looking at the sky warily, while others seemed pleased with the overcast. Well, it'll put somebody in a good mood, at least. She thougt with a sigh, glancing through the booths of market. Nothing really interested her- living for over four hundred thousand years could do that to you; what could you possibly buy that you didn't already have two or three of?
However, the large gathering of people always made Arilla feel so at home- this much life and color in one place, it was wonderful. The crowd was mostly humans, more altered than normal these days, she noted, but she could sense the life force of a few truly mythical beings like herself. In fact, one seemed rather familiar, though she couldn't place it exactly in the crowded streets. Stopping in at a food cart, she quickly bought a few pieces of spiced meat (she wasn't really sure as to WHAT it was, but it smelled delicious) to munch on as she continued perusing the stands.
((I wasn't sure if Daiki and Arilla would know each other yet, so I left it rather ambiguous))

Vanille had woken early that morning. Looking to Acelin she could see that he was still asleep. While he slept she began packing up their tent to move out. They would be approaching a small village. Hopefully to stock up on some things. The pair had been wandering together for sometime now, but never finding a true place to call their home. Once everything was packed Vanille decided to wake her comrade. "Oh, Acelin. Time to wake." Her light airy voice rang out clear as day.
Groaning the blonde male pushed himself up from the ground. "I'm coming." He muttered before standing up and brushing himself off. He strapped his gunblade to his back then smiled at Vanille. Tugging softly on her green hair he meant for her to follow him. They quietly walked along the path until they reached the village. It was lovely to see it so bustling with life. Stepping past the entrance gates he was a little surprised to see all the people gathered. He wondered how Vanille must look to them, but she did just look like a crazy dressed girl. Only he knew that she was infused with a genie and a nymph. She was slightly known for her abilities, but not overly known. Vanille was more known for never being convinced to join a side in this controversy. And he was just her comrade.

Terrace, known better to humans as Tristan, walked out from a cave he had camped at the night before. He was hunting an altered human with hydra infused abilities which made the human quite tough since he kept himself near water at all times and the day was already starting to look like it was going to storm. This wasn't much of an issue at the moment since he himself would benefit if he could take him out sooner than later since there was a nice breeze out. The mighty griffin stretched his wings and limbs as he stood in his human form then he remembered to retract his wings and did so swiftly so that nothing strange and unfortunate happened. Raising his nose to the air he could smell the rain coming on but it would be later in the day so he figured he would begin his hunt now.
Walking outside he walked a little ways into the forest headed for the lake where the abomination would undoubtedly be. Terrace was sure that he could kill the man quickly in his true form but he was enjoying the thrill of the hunt at the moment and the fierceness that the lizard man had shown thus far. It didn't take long for him to notice his prey next to a lake as he had assumed he would be. This would be their third confrontation in the past week and a half, so now it was time to end this. Lengthening his nails so that they resembled steel like talons the serpent man stood up and turned around slowly with no fear in his eyes. "So you have some to claim my life yet again I see." Taking a few short steps forward Terrace smiled then replied, "You knew I wasn't going away and you knew that I was not going to let you go so I take it you are ready to stand and finish this little game of cat and mouse." The middle aged looking hybrid smiled then he took a defensive stance and shouted, "I'll kill you this time." Speeding up his walk until it reached a jog and then a full on sprint the griffin confidently rebutted, "Impossible I'm afraid," as he lashed out at his target. The altered hydra man dodged the slashes skillfully for a while but he was taking nicks here and there from Terrace's talons. Quickly the man summoned a small current from the lake that was aimed at the head of his hunter but to his dismay the attack missed utterly as the griffin went airborne. Now looking down on the man Terrace flew straight up into the air then when he had reached a dangerous enough height he dive-bombed straight for the altered human. Quickly the man began to summon up a current from the lake to counter this diving threat but he was coming in at such a velocity he wasn't sure that he would be able to get it off in time.
There was a skull rattling screech and then a loud strike that sounded like lightening that struck down in the forest along with a large cloud of sand that followed. When the sand had cleared the hydra altered man laid there with a crushed chest bleeding a stream of blood but he was obviously already dead. Terrace walked out of the grave he had created for the altered human with a satisfied smile on his face. 'Well he wasn't a great fighter but he had spirit if nothing else.' Then he retracted his talons and wings and walked to the lake and rinsed off. "I think that's a job well done now off to town for breakfast," and he made his way through the forest to a nearby village.

Aaralyn stood up on a high branch of a tree, her ice blue gaze directed upon the bustling main street. Full of it's food stands and trinket stands, and even fuller still with it's modified humans, wishing to be "different." "Hmph. Rediculous." She thought, her eyes narrowing at them all. It was rather irritating to her how now there weren't very many real humans anymore. The majority of them had modified themselves, wishing to be just like Aaralyn and all of the other true mythical creatures. Aaralyn closed her eyes and let her senses reach out. There were a few true mythicals mulling about, but not very many. She opened her eyes again, they were so cold and unfeeling.

((Well, if someone else doesn't join soon with a desperate need to do it, I'll volunteer for the Saga leader))
Arilla found herself being drawn toward one of the more familiar auras, finding her... ahem, 'prey' near a jewelry stand. Should've known. That man and his love of anything that glitters... She manuevered her way through the crowd and over to the stand, looking slyly at the Raiju. "Jewelry, Daiki? Really? You couldn't find something a bit more manly to look at? Like swords?" She paused, looking down at his hands. "Then again, I don't suppose you need one, do you?"

Walking into the village Terrace could feel that there were only a few humans around and that there were also a few mythical beings roaming the area as well. His honey colored eyes scanned the area as he decided that he should probably head for a tavern to have breakfast. He noticed that there was a mythical being nearby and he looked around noticing her to be in a tree. He didn't know whether her to be friend or foe so he made a note to himself to keep her face in mind. Her cold eyes were also a note of interest to him but he wasn't willing to take risks when he had no allies at the moment, that would be foolish.
To his dismay, for it to be this early there were quite a few beings out and about which would make it fairly easy for him to blend and not be noticed by glance alone but he hated feeling trapped. He walked through the crowds of people not liking the uneasy feeling he had but he walked through it with no signs of discomfort showing. Then when he reached the tavern he sighed shortly then walked in and sat down at a table in the corner off by himself. He ordered himself a drink and some food and then he sat back watching the beings in the tavern interact, often times it lead him on a new chase for a target to kill. So he sat back patiently and watched with open ears.

Vanille saw a few people shoot dirty looks her way and immediately knew that it was because they could tell she was a hybrid. It wasn't like chose this lifestyle she was forced into it. But no one would care so why divulge in such a small detail. Shaking her head she felt Acelin wrap an arm around her shoulder and squeeze her softly.
"Don't be so down Vanille... they're not looking at you." He answered boldly with a gleaming smile. The boy was totally aware that not many humans remained pure as he had. He had no desire to become a hybrid. The team of himself and Vanille worked fine enough. Pulling her over to a stand he smiled at the fresh fruit. "Why don't we get some fruit it's your favorite?"[/color]
Vanille shook her head her green hair fluttering. "Alright, would you like to go to the tavern to eat? I can always take my fresh fruits in there."She chuckled softly to the human as his stomach rumbled.
"I'll wait for you to get your fruit before going there." He answered with a grin as he waited for her to pick up some fruit.

Suddenly, Aaralyn smelled something she hadn't in a while. Blood. It was fresh, too. Her eyes moved over towards the source of the scent, and saw a rather attractive male. However, what really intriegued her was that he was a true mythical creature. Not one of the huminoid fakes. Her eyebrows raised in intrest, and she hopped down off the tree branch, moving smoothly through the crowd and following him. She watched him go into a tavern, and hesitated. She wasn't particularly fond of places like that, but her curiosity got the better of her today. So, she went in. Her ice blue eyes glowed dimmly in the darkened tavern, and she glanced over at the corner booth where the male sat. She went up to the bar and ordered the first drink that came out of the top of her head. She sipped it, not bothering to look over her shoulder at the male. Instead, she sat still as a statue, occasionally taking a sip from her drink.

Terrace hadn't felt himself being followed but he hadn't thought that he would be either but he was sure that he was when he saw the woman from the tree enter. She looked as if she was trying to be inconspicuous but he was an experienced being and that wasn't convincing enough for him. He called a waitress over and asked her to deliver a message to the woman at the bar asking her to come join him if she planned on staying for while. He sat back as the waitress went to deliver the message and he finished up his meal. Maybe this was the interesting thing that he had been waiting to happen so he sat back to see what was to come of his invitation.

"Excuse me, miss." One of the waitresses came up and tapped on Aaralyn's shoulder softly, making her look up curiously. "Hm?" "That gentleman over that would like for you to join him if you're staying a while." Said the waitress, smiling softly. Aaralyn's eyes widened slightly, and looked over at the male, a little disapointed that she was seen so soon. Aaralyn took her drink in her hand and stood up, nodding to the waitress. "Thank you." The waitress curtsied, and then went off to continue with her duties. Taking a small breath, Aaralyn walked over and stood in front of the male's table. "Hello." She said softly, her voice clear and strong, dispite it's soft sound, and almost alluring.

The griffin was happy to see that she had accepted his offer and it brought a graceful smile to his lips. Then in response to her greeting he nodded slightly then said, "Hello my lady, a pleasure to meet you. My name is Tristan, what may I call you?" Terrace wasn't ready to hand over his true name to a stranger just yet, he needed to know if she would be a friend or foe so his human name would suffice for now. He thought to himself for a moment and seemed to want to say something else but he decided he would wait this one out.

Aaralyn's eyes narrowed slightly at the name, but not much. Unlike most true mythilogical creatures, she had never taken on a different name. She was proud of her name, and refused to change it just to blend in with the humans. All she would do to hide herself was to stay in this form unless she absolutely had to change into her true form. "My name is Aaralyn." She said, nodding pleasantly at him. She sat down, her eyes examinine him, trying to figure out exactly what kind of creature he was. "So tell me, why is it that you wanted my company?" Asked Aaralyn, smiling softly, her smile almost as alluring as her voice.

Terrace had to admit he enjoyed the melody that was Aaralyn's voice and it seemed to keep a smile on his face, "That's a beautiful name if you don't mind being complimented." Then thinking on her question for a moment he replied, "I wanted to know why it is that you followed me here. Is it simply because you know I'm a mythical beast or was it something else that piqued your interest?" He words flowed effortlessly and with a majestic tone that carried a bit of authority in it as he looked at the woman scanning her features. She was attractive, that was for sure but he was not going to make any advances on her for the time being.

Aaralyn's soft smile widened a bit. "Hm... A bit disappointing that I was found out so soon. I must be getting rusty. Either that, or you saw me before I saw you?" She said, raising an eyebrow at him. "I suppose what originally interested me was not only the fact that you're a true mythical beast, but also because of the fact that you smell like fresh blood. A scent that I haven't caught in quite a while." She said, taking another sip from her drink as her ice blue eyes searched him a bit more. Even dispite those reasons, now that she was beginning to speak to him, he seemed rather interesting.

Chuckling a bit to himself he allowed his honey colored eyes to meet her icy blue gaze and responded, "I saw you perched in a tree when I first entered town. So I think it would be accurate to say that I saw you first." Then his gaze hardened a bit and his tone grew a bit darker, "You have a good nose I see. It seems I didn't do a good enough job erasing the scent of my most recent kill. Not more than about an hour ago I killed the last member of a group of altered humans who attacked me a few weeks back. I had been hunting him for a few days, he was quite spirited but he wasn't too powerful." He explained the kill to force a reaction from the girl that would tell if she was an ally or enemy so this was going to be the deciding moment for her in his eyes.

Aaralyn's eyes narrowed slightly, and her smile almost entirely disappeared. "Hm... An altered human, huh?" She smirked, her ice blue eyes flashing dangerously. "Serves him right. Humans should have just stayed how they were instead of trying to be more and more like us." She said, sounding rather bitter about the altered humans. All-in-all, Aaralyn didn't really have much of a dramatic reaction to his story. She didn't really care, either.

A bright smile graced the griffins lips as he heard her bitterness towards altered humans, it had confirmed that she was an ally or at least for now. "It's good to hear that from a fellow mythical being, I believe too many of our kind have become complacent when it came to those greedy bastards." His temper had began to flare a bit but he calmed himself quickly then began again, "I owe you an apology, my real name is Terrace, Tristan the name I adopted for this form. The deceit was necessary until I knew whether or not you could be trusted so I must ask you understanding and forgiveness milady." His honey golden eyes were sincere in unison with his majestic voice and expression was one of remorse. The more that he looked at her, the more he liked her, she had a certain fierceness that was attractive to him and her cold heart was a trait that they shared although his was reflected differently.

"I thought as much. I've never come accross one of us who truely had a human name. I for one, choose not to bother with them." Said Aaralyn, shrugging as she took another sip from her drink. Of course, she liked Terrace's true name far better than the silly human name. She smirked slightly as she figured out exactly what he was. A gryphon. She hadn't met very many of those in her life-time. Lucky her. "So then, Terrace, what kinds of things do you do for fun around here? Besides killing the irritating altered humans, of course." She asked, raising an eyebrow curiously at him. "I'm rather new around here."

Terrace was happy to finally get that off his chest, he wasn't too fond of his "human" name but it made for a good alias when he needed one. With a slight smirk on his face he replied to her question, "I'm actually looking for like minded individuals who are willing to join me in my cause. I want to rid this world of those abominations that plague this planet but I cannot do it alone." He left a window of time before his next comment so that she had time to think on what he had said, "Would I be correct in assuming that you're a banshee?" he was curious to see if his presumptions were correct.

Aaralyn had heard of the two different groups around this area. That was one of the main reasons why she had come, to see what all the fuss was about between the two groups. She finished her drink, looking thoughtful, and sat back, folding her arms across her chest. Then he hit home when he asked if she was a banshee. Aaralyn's pale lips moved into a smirk, her eyes flashing in amusement. "Yes, you would be correct, griffin." She answered. "As for your offer, I'm not exactly decided yet. I'm not one for groups. However, I'm most definately curious." She said, scooting her glass over to the edge of the table as she leaned forward, resting one of her elbows on the table and putting her chin on her open palm. Her other hand layed nicely in her lap. Her ice blue eyes searched his golden ones, as if they were trying to find the answers to all of her questions.

Terrace wasn't surprised that she had figured out what he was, after all it was obvious she had a good head on her shoulder and she had sharp eyes. The griffin stared back into her ice blue eyes before he responded, "Well from what I hear the Saga group is suppose to be having a meeting in this town sooner or later. As you can probably already tell, this will most definitely end up with a confrontation. Either way it goes I will be at a disadvantage being as I have no allies as of right now. Just finding a like minded individual happened to be a stroke of luck for me but I would appreciate it if you gave the offer some thought." His voice was filled with a strong confidence, no hint of arrogance, and a powerful authority to add to his strong golden gaze. He had the demeanor a someone who has a purpose and it was radiating off of him. Then folding his left arm across his midsection while resting his right elbow on his arm with his hand covering his chin and index finger tapping his lips he began to think for a moment. Then he asked, "Is there anything I can do to get you to join my cause?" His question was simple but he had some meaning behind it, but he made sure not to show that on his features.
