^_^ That's okay. I haven't been on Menewsha much for the past few days. I've been working on my evil art class drawing. We're drawing a still-life. I was there a few hours today and I was so tired of looking at it I was contemplating whether or not to gouge out my eyes with my pencil. :d

How have you been?

I've had a sinus headache and my throat is a little dry today but I've been alright. We picked up a copy of FF9, FF12 and Valkyrie Profile to play and I was able to pick up some books at the used bookstore. My partner picked up a book on the basics of Russian and I got a new workbook for my French studies. Which reminds me.. I need to be YouTubing French musicians apart from Alizée.

I hope you feel better. :)
FF9 and FF12 are my favorites. Love them. You'll have to tell me how Valkyrie Profile is after you've played a bit. I've been thinking about getting it but I don't know much about it.
As for French musicians, I love Yann Tiersen. He can play a mean violin. ^^

Hm, I'm going to YouTube him later today. Thanks for the unintended recommendation. :XD

You're welcome. xD He's a great musician. He did the music for the movie Amelie. Never seen the movie, but the soundtrack is gorgeous.

Valkyrie Profile for the PS1 or the PSP? I haven't had the chance to own the PS1 copy but the PSP one is really good.

I was thinking about getting the one for the PS1 since I don't have a PSP (although I really really want one). I don't know which one Scribbled has though. I suppose it's PS1 too.

The PS1 version is pretty expensive, I think.

Unless you're going to shell out between 175$ and 500$ it's not possible to get the first Valkyrie Profile for PS1 new. I've seen it as low as 50$ for a used copy on Amazon but it's normally closer to a 100$. I have the second Valkyrie Profile for the PS2 which I bought from the Square Enix website for 20$ because they're still producing it.

I don't have a PSP either so I'm not really sure I'll ever get to play the first. There's also Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume for the Nintendo DS.

Now that I think about it, I think that the second Valkyrie Profile must have been the one I saw and thought of purchasing. Is it one of those series that you have to play them in order to know what's going on?

The movie Amelie is a lot of fun to watch. It's one of my favorite movies to watch in French.

I have no idea about that, Twethereal. I'm kind of hoping that's not the case but I'm willing to play it anyways because I've heard such great things about the games in general. It might not be a bad idea to check Wikipedia and see if the story line is continuous.

Wikipedia is love. ^_^

I haven't been on here lately. I've been playing Final Fantasy XIII. I think I'm addicted to it. D:
It so beautiful! The graphics and the settings and the character design are just... wow!
And I think the best thing about the game is the characters themselves and their development. They are all very complex. I don't feel like any of them are typical Final Fantasy roles. It's like a breath of fresh air. :)

Same here actually besides all the other junk going on in my life.

How are you feeling about the nonstop story line?

Gah... I keep wandering away from Menewsha for a week or two at a time. Bad Twethereal! D:

I think I like it. It's sort of like watching a movie where you get to play the characters for a bit. I wouldn't want all of my games to be like that, sure, but for this one I think it really works.

I was relieved when they got to Grans Pulse and I could take my time with the stone quests. I want to finish all of those before I move on with the story line.
