"Did you hide your face in a pillow?" he asked, shrugging. "I hated needles. But they grew on me." Kire said, patting the other's shoulder. "That scene was messed up. But I prefer when the guy gets crushed between the 2 walls.And in the next movie they show what the body looked like after the crushing. "

"...So what if I did, huh?" Mycroft teased, pouting a bit. He looked very girly when he pouted. Then, he perked up. "I liked that scene, actually! I can never remember what they called that guy, so I just call him Pancake Man. Because he got pancake'd."

"I think his name was Agent Peter Strahm. Since Hoffman was lowered into the ground in the glass filled coffin type thing. " Kire said looking away from his friend. "So how were things at your school before you moved here?"

"Okay, I guess," Mycroft mused, nodding. "I had a lot of friends. And a girlfriend..."

He dug in his pocket and pulled out a light blue phone, flipping it open and browsing through his pictures a moment. He then turned it to show him a picture of Emily, his girlfriend. She was almost as tall as him, with black-ish maroon-ish hair and tortoiseshell green eyes. She looked like a demure, reserved girl that would stand up for herself if needed, though.

Kire frowned then shut the phone, "She looks nice." he said, giving the other a slight smile. 'He's...Straight..' he thought to himself sadly, but made sure his outward appearence didn't change.

"Yeah, she is..." Mycroft agreed, smiling. Emily had been his first friend when he moved there, and she had helped him out, a lot. Eventually, they grew closer, and they began dating when Mycroft was thirteen.

Mycroft shifted, still smiling. "So...do you have a...significant other?" He had had a bunch of gay and bisexual friends back in his old school, so he never assumed. Mycroft himself had never questioned his sexuality. He knew he liked girls, but he'd never really liked a guy before. He wasn't against it, but it had never happened for him. Not yet, anyway...

"I don't....I hang around now and again, but that's about it." No and again, yet another understatement. Kire smiled a little, "I don't really need a girlfriend anyway." he said, making it seem like he wasn't gay. He pulled it off well. "Do you miss her?"

Mycroft chewed his lip a bit. "Kinda...yeah...we had a fight before I left...one of her friends claimed she'd seen her with another guy. And that friend wasn't one to lie...at all," he mumbled. "I haven't talked to her since I left, yet, so I don't know if everything is still okay. I miss her, yeah, but if she really did cheat on me...I don't think I want to stay with her..."

"I feel bad for you..Well you never know. You might find somebody you like here." Sage said, shrugging and laying down on his bed, looking up at the ceiling. "You'll never know who you'll fall for next."

"True..." Mycroft plopped down next to him, feeling content. "What should we talk about, now? We do have to catch up, majorly, after all."

"I don't really know.." Kire sighed and sat up, "Do you still want to know what I do?" he asked, cocking his head slightly to the side.

Mycroft nodded, curling his knees up against his chest. He seemed curious... "I want to know. If...you're comfortable telling me?"

Kire smirked and closed his eyes, "I do drugs...Drink more then I should....Sell myself." he said, almost casually. He opened his eye slightly to look at his friend's expression.

Mycroft tilted his head, looking concerned. "You really shouldn't be doing that...not that I'm one to talk. It's not like I haven't tried drugs, or drank myself silly...I've never sold, though," he informed him. "Running with the 'popular' crew...it's hard to avoid that stuff."

"I don't do it because others do. Its not because of a popularity thing." Kire sat up, "People hate me here. I'm known as the school whore...Another reason I wanted...Want you to stay away." he said, sighing. "I want you to be around better people. We're not kids anymore."

Mycroft studied him for a moment. Then, he simply leaned over and hugged him. "You really think I care what other people will say?" he asked gently, resting his head on his shoulder. "I won't let anyone bully you anymore. I don't care what you've done--you're my friend and you don't deserve it."

Kire frowned and pushed the other away, biting his lip, "Stop it... I want you to stay away...As a friend you would." he said, forcing himself to say the words.

Mycroft's face fell, and then he looked more determined than ever.

"Friends don't leave other friends behind," he insisted. "Friends stick together. No matter what's happened in their lives. You're my friend. One of the best friends I've ever had. I missed you, to death. I'm not going to let you isolate yourself like this. I know that's not really what you want, isolation. Please."

"And you want to be 'friends' with somebody who does this?!" Kire said in an abruptly alarming voice, showing the other his wrists. Full of scars new and old. "I don't care if I'm isolated or not, but if I am it hurts people less when I'm gone.." he said quietly, letting his arms fall.

Mycroft abruptly grabbed one of his wrists to study it.

"...You're doing exactly what Archie used to do." Mycroft's brother used to cut with anything he could find. Broken glass...toothpicks...even his own fingernails and teeth.

"But..." He looked up at him, pointedly. "Even if you isolate yourself...I'm still going to be sad if you die...so that doesn't make a difference..."

Kire rubbed his eyes with the back of his hand, getting rid of the soon-to-be-tears. "You're crazy.." he mumbled then hugged the other, resting his head on Mycroft's chest.

Mycroft wrapped his arms around him contently, comfortingly. "If you need to cry, go ahead and get it out...sometimes it's better to cry it out. It can make you feel a lot better. You can trust me not to laugh at you or anything. I promise."

It felt nice to be able to comfort his friend like this. He really had missed him, desperately.

Kire smiled a little and closed his eyes, letting the tears roll down his cheeks. "Thank you.." he mumbled. After a moment of silence, the outcast looked up at his friend, took a chance, and leaned foward, kissing the other lightly on the lips. ((Cue freaking out? Come on straight boy. xD))

((Mycroft can freak out, but he won't be mean. XD He's too nice to be mean. Unless he's truly, honestly pissed.))

Mycroft immediately tensed, in shock. He kept his arms around Kire, still gentle, but blinked a bit, confused and expecting a rush of negative emotions to flow through him.

Instead, there was...confusion? And a bit of curiosity...and uncertainty...not like he'd expected. He looked like he might freak out about it later, alone, when he had time to figure out what he really felt. For now, he would just let it continue.

He didn't even feel guilty right now for being kissed by someone other than Emily. It was extremely puzzling, so he didn't pull away. There was no hostility in his eyes, but there was a bit of fear...mostly curiosity. He'd never considered himself bisexual before, but the lack of a negative, disgusted feeling was strange...

Kire pulled away from Mycroft fully and covered his mouth, "Sorry.." he said, looking away then sighing. "I know you're not gay...."
