Species: Shapeshifter - A spirit from hell

Appearance: Can be human, half human/half cat, cat, or a sword
Personality: Being a spirit from hell it is only natural that Akina acts a bit lazy at times. He calls himself the prince of demons, although this is only a joke. Akina was funny and witty at times, but can also be haughty and sarcastic. Akina isn't one to typically loaf around if there is something better for him to do. He's a hard worker and according to his lord, if he can take over 100 souls from creatures, Akina can 'upgrade' and become stronger.
History: Signed a blood contract to serve his master Flutter. He serves as her weapon and best friend. Prior to being a pet, Akina used to live his life as a rogue cat. Upon facing his own death, Akina was offered the chance to come back and live his life as a shapeshifter. Taking the card that was offered to him, Akina and Zero are now on a mission to defeat over 100 enemies.
Abilities: Shapeshifting from a human to a cat or to any array of weapons.
Weaknesses: If Flutter master dies, he dies
Likes: Flutter (but doesn't like to act it) and screwing around
Dislikes: Everyone else and dogs

Akina, who was now shaped like a cat, stretched as the morning sunlight warmed his red fur. Shaking himself out, the cat jumped from his bed, and, as he moved toward the ground, morphed into a human.

He stretched out his arms as beads of sleepiness appeared beside his eyes. Akina moaned as he ripped open the curtains to the girl's room.

"Rise and shine, my lady." The male bowed as he stood beside her bed. He smiled down at the girl before him. Just last night he came into her world. With the signing of a blood contract, he was now under the ownership of this female who would simply not wake up!

Annoyed, Akina shook the bed. For being a 'servant,' 'butler,' and 'pet' his manner needed some serious improvement. "GET OUTTA THERE BEFORE I GET IN THERE! AND I'M NAKED!" He hissed while snickering.

Character Name: Flutter
Age: 17
Species: Half Vampire, Half Human.
Height: 5'1"
Weight: 72 pounds
Eye Color: Pale green.
Hair Color: Light blue.
Personality: Flutter is socially awkward by nature, having trouble comprehending many things about emotions and the like. When someone is upset, she can't fully figure out what's going on. However, she is also a naturally childish person, despite her sometimes considered solemn and anxious demeanor. She is weak but strong-willed and, though gullible and tending to believe in things if she's told them a bit too much, she'll keep trying even if she's told it's possible.
History: She was raised separated from her immediate family besides her older brother, who was killed by a vampire-slayer. Her father, from what she knows, was a very renowned vampire, though now only known mostly for being exiled from the vampire homeland after he fell in love with a human who, later on, became her mother. She was brought up in medical care for a long while due to a struggle she has with her mixed genetics. Because of this, she has a tendency to be stuck in bed for long periods of time. For unknown reasons, her body cannot digest anything without high amounts of sugar content. Due to her need for help with most things due to how sickly she is, she signed a blood contract with someone to act as her helper (though, the contract noted it as "servant, butler and pet").
Weaknesses: Her illness, any sort of social situation and anything in general that provokes her anxiety.
Likes: Plants, sweets, mathematics and anything logic based.
Dislikes: Reading, social gatherings and anything based on social or emotional ties.

Flutter was still struggling to snap out of her slumber. Even though she could hear his scolding to wake her, she couldn't seem to get her eyes to open. Though for a while she lay still, she did begin to stir after a good while. "Morning..." She let her eyes flicker open very carefully, blood lining her lips. That night, after she'd finally managed to sleep, she'd woken up with another attack of her illness, which inevitably led to helping her fall right back asleep due to later exhaustion. She was still suffering from the fatigue of that situation, however at least had enough energy to slowly get into a sitting position.

"You know, I don't know how you managed to wake up so early..." She noted, wiping a fatigued glaze out of her eyes as much as she could. "It's so early still... What time is it anyway...?"

She looked to him curiously, managing a weak smile on her face as she forced some blue hair behind her shoulder. "Really, though, Akina," She noted softly. She was now clearly much more alert, even if weak, and able to better grasp where she was at that moment. "It's nice to see you energetic so early in the morning. I'm envious, quite plainly."

"Oh, you know. It's 4 AM." Akina smiled as he pointed to the barely risen sun that was outside her window. "And I'm always full of energy. I'm like a... A RAGING BALL OF FUR!" Akina was then jumping and running around the room.

CREEE-UNCHH!

"AHHHHHHHH!" The male jumped around on one foot while holding the other in his hands. Blood poured from it as the scattered remains of her mirror clinging to the ground all thanks to our friend gravity. Still yelping out in pain, the male managed to fumble headfirst into closet.

Flailing his arms, Akina came out with a 'bizarre' object on his head. Little did he know what was over his eyes was a woman's bra. But he'd figure this out sooner or later.

"Gah, I can't see! You're stupid blindfold is in the way." After running into her lamp, Akina finally hit the bed. "Oof." Feeling around, the red-haired male squeezed his hand around something warm, squishy, but firm. "Hmmm?" He peeled the bra from his eyes to see the foreign object.

Upon seeing his finding, the male's face matched the color of his eyes and hair - red. Blushing like crazy, Akina released the girl's breast and froze there with one cocked eyebrow and a wide eye. "C-c-c-c-can I g-g-get yo-you anything, m-m-m-miss?" Not only was he stiff, but his tone and speech were as well. It was evident that Akina was not only embarrassed, but also terrified at what he touched.

Flutter laughed nervously, eyes closed tightly so she could keep at ease. She had felt from the moment he'd gotten injured that her blood level was rising to a bad peak, which caused her own face to turn a similar color as his had. She was still trying to force the blood to decrease itself.

When he'd asked if she needed anything, she shook her head, managing to get herself off the bed so that her long white gown just barely kept off the floor. "I'm going to go get the first aid kit, though. You got hurt, didn't you? We need to make sure to disinfect the wound if nothing else..." Though she yawned, she began heading to a large white box nearby on the dresser. "Good thing I tend to keep it in here..."

She dug through the white box for a very thin item, looking over at Akina with a curious gaze. "Where were you hurt again? It was your foot, wasn't it? How large is the cut?" She was looking for the right size bandage, while still looking at him every so often to make sure he was okay.

"HISSSSSSSS!" Akina scurried away. "I'm fine. I don't need cleaning or fixing!" The male then darted under the bed in his best hopes for not being found. Unlike his previous master, this girl was a pushover, so so he thought. She was sick and weak. How easy would it be to do as he wanted.

Snickering, he thought about all the fun things he could do. The latter of them all being the idea of killing his master. But then he recalled something. DAMMIT! WHY! WHY! WHY! Why do I have to die if she dies? Pissing and extremely annoyed, Akina crawled out from under the bed. "You know, if you go and die on me, I die too. So, yeah. Stop being ill. Get better."

"Thanks, I think?" She blinked. Even though she knew that, considering the earlier part of the statement, it was more for selfish reasons, she still took it to be even somewhat kind of him to say. "I'll try. Promise."

She was still at the white box, though it wasn't open. She also didn't have any bandages out, though she had a tissue covering part of her mouth, which had started to secrete a slight bit of blood due to it's not going down enough in time.

When she could feel the end of the blood coming out, she turned around and gave him a weak smile. "If you'd like, you're welcome to anything in the kitchen- though there may not be much you'll like. I'll try to go shopping later if there's anything you particularly want me to put in stock. I need to lay down for now though."

She sighed softly to herself before she walked to the bed, managing onto it before pulling the covers over her legs. She watched him curiously for a moment- she wouldn't fall asleep while he was there anyway, so she didn't bother trying. Besides- he was interesting in some ways, though she couldn't quite understand it herself.

"Meow?" Akina rested his head beside her. His face was sweet, but it had a strong, protective sense to it as well. Akina rose to his feet and bowed before her. "I shall be back with the finest medicine this cat can find!"

Pivoting on his left foot, Akina morphed into his cat-self. Pouncing across the floor, he made his way out of the house. Once outside, he hissed as the cold air blew through him. Shivering slightly, Akina took off to a friend in the woods - the badger. If he didn't have what he wanted, the rabbit or owl would surely know where he should look for the herbs he sought.

His paws sank into the moist ground. It has just rained that night, which is why it was so chilly at Flutter's place. Shrugging and singing to himself, Akina soon found himself in the woods. Peering around, his golden eyes scanned everything.

"Hello there Akina," a friendly hooting voice called down from the skies.

"Oh, hello there bud. You wouldn't happen to know of an all healing herb, would you? I have forgotten the name, but the scent is still as strong on my nose as ever. It smells like fresh picked roses with a twist of cinnamon and hint of peppermint. Do you know of this herb I speak of?"

"Hmmm, I can't say I do. But I wish you the best of luck. Hoot, hoot!" Fluttering away, Akina was alone again in the vast dark woods.

When Akina had left, Flutter let out a deep sigh. "I wonder if he even understands what it is...? He seems worried though... I feel sorta bad honestly..." She stared at the ceiling for a while, still speaking aloud. "Big brother? Please make sure he's careful, okay? Smiling in a very weak manner, it took little time for her to soon fall into slumber. Though, her slumber wasn't the most restful one in the world.

Tossing and turning, Flutter spiked into a stiff sitting position, eyes wide and glazed with a fear that seemed to come to her regularly. Slowly, the glaze went away, her breathing coming back into a normal rhythm. She let out a deep sigh- again she'd had that nightmare. The same nightmare she had anytime she went to sleep, though especially when concerned. Blood tried to trickle out of her lips, causing her to seek a tissue to wipe it off. Another sigh escaped her as she took a seat near the desk on the far end of the bedroom. "Maybe sleeping isn't the best idea right now... But I'm so tired..." She hadn't a clue what to do and, for the time being, simply sat with a paper of various numbers and began to work with them aimlessly, trying to focus her mind a bit.

After wandering around for about four hours, the cat returned. "Honey, I'm home!" He said flinging open the door. "Time to wake up and smell the tea!"

Bending over, he placed a fragile cup on her hand. "Drink it," he said with a sparkle in his red eyes. "I promise, it will sting, but it will help."

He was now dressed in a black butler suit. Just what was he up to? Scurrying about her room, he cleaned away the dust and spiders. "What shall we do today, miss?"

Flutter laughed when he'd returned, smiling to him more easily then she had earlier in the morning. "Welcome home. You know, though, I don't think my name was 'Honey', last I checked anyway." She laughed slightly more before looking at the cup. "Tea? Thank you, Akina."

She nodded before taking a sip, coughing- she hadn't remembered to tell him of her issue with sugar, she'd guessed, or he had forgotten. Either way, she had to deal with it. Digging into a small jar on her desk, she put a couple sugar packets into it and stirred before taking another sip, sighing with relief. No more coughing, and she could taste the liquid without it being too drowned out by the sweetness.

As he had started cleaning, she leaned her head lightly on her shoulder. "I really do envy your energy, you know." She laughed again, still watching him. "As for what to do today? I haven't really given much thought to it yet. Any ideas?"

"Well, I thought about preparing you a warm breakfast. Once that if finished, I think it would be interesting to teach you how to play the fiddle as well as how to dance. Once finished learning the arts, we need to head into town and find some good books. There is no way you can attend school when you're that ill, so I shall take manners into my own hands."

Twisting around, the male's dust ruffle lightly uncovered hidden designs on the wall. "Then, when you are reading or napping, I shall continue to clean this place. I cannot believe you've lived in her for this long. No wonder you're sick." Pivoting around, he bowed before her. "If you don't mind, the cinema is also playing a great classical film. It would be nice to watch it. Besides, you can learn several things from him as well."

His head lifted and his red eyes came back into sight. "I think that should conclude today."

With his back toward her, he pulled out some clothes for her to wear. An iron was brought in and pressed down on the articles of clothing. Once smooth, he placed them on the bed. "You need to bathe. Shall I assist? Or can you handle that task on your own?"

For being her butler/servant/pet, he was rather pushy. It was clear that he would not take orders from the girl as he s solely planned out the entire day.

"I can't read," She noted simply in response to some of his notes. "As well, I haven't a fiddle to learn on, even if you wished for that. Do you happen to have a fiddle? Otherwise, we'll need to get that along with the books. Since the cinema is also there, if you are wanting to see something, we'd likely be better off doing such while in town for convenience sake. It's better to do everything in one shot, unless you plan on carrying me when I run out of energy. That's already going to happen just from your attempt of teaching me to dance."

She smiled easily to him. Clearly, Flutter had no reason to be unhappy with his ideas. They included things that, though baffled her regularly, might be interesting in some ways anyway. "I do try to clean... Elder brother used to have someone that cleaned for us regularly while I was at the hospital for a while, but once he passed they stopped coming." It was a very simple explanation, but it did get the job done, she'd decided.

Standing up, she shook her head soon after. "I'll bathe on my own. Do you need to as well, though? Just to make sure." Her smile weakened- she hadn't reason to smile at that point, though she was still smiling anyway. "I'm startled, honestly. You're working so hard so soon... I don't know many who would do that. Try not to push too hard though, alright?"

"Me. Push myself? Nonsense. I think you forget that I cannot die. Well... unless you die. I am always full of spunk and energy. Besides, I am here to help you. You called me forth and now I am here." His eyes were smiling as he turned back toward her.

"And of course I have a fiddle! All cats have fiddles! And that is a brilliant plan about getting everything done in one step. As far as the reading, I shall teach you."

Picking her up as if she were his wife, he carried her to an already filled tub. "The water is warm. The bubbles are flawless. The rose peddles smell lovely. The candles look great." He looked at her. "I swear, I wasn't going to for a romantic theme. It just happened, honest!"

She was red in the face, but not because of what he'd said at all- it was mostly because, in general, physical contact did that to her. Looking at him curiously, she showed little expression despite it. She just looked at him before speaking.

"Um... I can't exactly go into a bath while I'm fully clothed, sadly. Or rather, I can, but it will do little good hygienically. Might I ask you leave for me to take the bath for now? There's a towel in here so I can come out in it unless I can get my clothes to change into afterward..."

She managed to squirm out of his hold, standing on the floor with gelatin-like legs due to having not been ready to hold her up. Reluctantly, before she could fall, she held onto him lightly to keep from losing balance. "Sorry- I should've been more careful getting up I guess..."

"Nonsense. I brought your clothes." Laying them down beside the table, he helped her over to a bar. "Here you go," he smiled, "you should be able to undress here and then slip into the water."

Twirling around, the male exited the room. While she was to bath, Akina figured he could strip and make her bed. Rushing into the room, he yanked off the old sheets. Tucking them under his arms, he walked to a washer. Soaking his hands in the water, he poured in some soap. Spinning the dirty sheets about, he finally cleaned them. Pulling them from the water, he bat them with a fan to shake out the water.

She seemed surprised- he was a rather diligent worker and, in all honesty, she was a tad worried about him due to it. She was grateful, of course- having someone helping her so much was a relief. However, she couldn't help but feel some sort of pain, as though she felt he was just pushing himself too much. "I'll talk to him about it later," she decided quietly. She got ready and took her bath.

Once done, she got out of the water, soaking still, and drenched her hair into the tub while letting the water go down the drain. Once she felt her hair was a normal wetness for leaving the room, she dried herself with a towel and quickly dressed herself properly in the clothes he'd kindly gotten for her. "Oh my- my skirt's a tad long... I'll have to use some pins or something to keep it from tripping me." Shaking it off, she left the bathroom, smiling to herself as she searched a drawer of her dresser for what she needed.

"Hmmmm, your skirt is a tad long. Here, let me help." Bending down, he took out a needle and thread. Carefully, yet skillfully, he adjusted the skirt. Stepping back, he admired his work. "There, it looks magnificent. Just like you."

A smile was plastered over his rather young looking face. Turning around, he heard his stomach growl. "Oi. I need something to eat. I need... a soul." His eyes danced a dangerous crimson color. "You... didn't you use to work as a secret agent for your country? You wouldn't happen to know anyone that needs... punishment by death. Would you?"

Flutter struggled to suppress laughter, while simultaneously trying to keep her face from getting to red, lest her anxiety get to her and her blood start to come up again. "I don't believe flattery was part of the job you signed up for, but if you end up putting it in a resume I can definitely vouch for you." She finally let out the giggle she needed to, hearing his later question.

"Most of the people that needed to die are dead now. I still do a little work from home though as an informant. Shall I look up one of my recent cases for you?" She forced a smile- it'd been a while since she'd touched her work. It likely was going to be a tad overwhelming for her. "Maybe you would be able to take over for them- they need a new agent since I can't go anywhere. They'll happily help your appetite if you need that."

"REALLY!" Akina practically knocked the female over. "Sweet! Agent Akina. FBI. No wait... spy. NO NO NO! Assassin." His lips curled up as he spoke. "Oh I love the sounds of Assassin Agent Akina. AAA!"

Twisting away from the girl, he began to sing....

Looking back at Flutter, he smiled. "What, never heard a cat sing before?"

Flutter laughed nervously- she was still struggling to keep stable from when his excitement had caused the stability she already lacked to some degree to drop. She was laughing sincerely at the same time, however. Seeing his energy seemed to make her feel at ease- she liked it. Perhaps that was the real thing she'd wanted for a long time- the energy that was lacking since her brother had left. She shook the thought off, giggling once more to his later note. "No, no I haven't. But I haven't heard singing much period."

"Well," he smiled, "you will get sick of it. I promise." Twisting around, he scooped up a dusting tool.

I met her at a bar
A look she gave me said I wouldn't get far
But that ain't ever stopped me
I like the challenge so I proceeded to speak


One drink turned into two drinks
Three drinks turned into dancin', dancin'
And pretty soon her body was all upon me

His eyes smiled as he danced around the room dusting. "Anyways," he said turning back to her, "if there is anything you'd like me to do or see, just let me know." His eyes darkened some to a harsher state. "But I must say this. Just because you command me, does not mean I will listen. As I... don't want to obey you."

Flutter laughed a bit in response, seemingly phased little to not at all by his words. "To be honest, I don't really like the idea of giving orders or anything like that, even at work. So... I don't plan on doing that anyway. I sorta just wanted to have someone around when I made that deal 'cause it's lonely since big brother passed. I can move around subtly, but I can't keep myself company without getting lonely once in a while."

"Wow, that's rather touching," Akina said in a light whisper. "I'm... touched." His forehead wrinkled as he looked at his feet. "Flutter, scratch what I said before. Even if you don't want to command me, I shall obey you. You have earned my respect. But... I might change later on. But today, you have won."

Akina smiled down at the girl. "So, what did you do with your brother? Maybe we could do the same? Did you play games? Read? Watch things together? Hike?"

"You know, I'm already rather confused..." She laughed nervously. "If I don't plan on commanding you, then you have nothing to obey, right?" She thought about it for a few moments, but then shook it off. She was probably just thinking too much about it, right?

Shaking it off, she listened to his later question, smiling to him. "Well, we couldn't to a lot of things, but he did read a lot with me. He told me a lot of stories about where we came from and what it was like outside the house too, since I never got to go out much." She then added, "But sometimes we did go for walks when the weather was nice and I was able- and he wasn't busy."

Akina scratched his chin. "I could read to you if you'd like. But I personally prefer roleplaying. Have you, have you ever done that before? Acted out a story and then made your own fun little twists and turns? If you'd like, we could pretend to be a princess and a knight. But it's whatever you want. Kidnapper and thief? Chef and slave? Cat and mouse?" Akina snickered. "I just like to act and mess around. I'm a rather aloof cat... it's not wonder hell didn't want me."
