I don't know about anyone else, but when I am roleplaying in a fight I imagine listening to music from the 1940's, like "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" or "I'm Sittin' on Top of the World". It makes me happy for some reason. What about you guys?
Whenever Im playing any shooter game, or any game that I dont need to listen, or even pay attention, to the story, I just put my music player on shuffle, and listen to whatever comes up. Though, there has been proof that I play Modern Warfare 2 better when my music is on.
Depends on the games im playing lol, but I usually listen to metal....but if I'm in a really big "killing mood", Cannibal Corpse, Unleashed, Amon Amarth, Bloodbath, Vomitory, Bolt Thrower, Kataklysm, Belphegor...are usually right on the top of my list xD
I like "counting bodies like sheep" by A Perfect Circle and "Let the bodies hit the floor" by Drowning pool... but really any song will do when playing video games, even the pop-y, upbeat stuff lolz.
I heard that the marines get a kick out of listening to counting bodies when they go to battle, but I haven't asked a real marine ( if I were I would lol)
I don't remember listening to music while I played Video Games... well except for dark chronicle, but I don't think that counts as killing.. I listened to U2 playing that.
