Turning towards her, Adrian wrapped his arms around her waist and lightly caressed her him with one hand, her air with the other. "I love ye too," Adrian murmured softly before pulling her in for a few tender kisses and resting his forehead sleepily on hers. "Stay in bed with me fer jus' a bit longer 'til I'm more awake? Then we'll go 'n' get breakfast," Adrian promised as he placed light kisses upon Lucina's lips.

"Now how I could refuse that offer?" Lucina grinned between kisses as she shifted closer to Adrian, wishing she could stay in bed all day. Resting her face in the crook of Adrian's neck, Lucina left fluttery kisses along his skin before smiling sleepily. "When do you want to marry me?" Lucina asked softly, tracing invisible shapes on Adrian's chest. "I mean, we should probably set a date." She encouraged.

"Love, I'll marry ye whenever yer ready. I don' wan' t' rush ye, but I don' know if I can wait ferever," Adrian teased with a wink as his fingers lightly trailed the length of her back in gentle caresses while his other hand linked with hers. "Ye sure yer ready t' marry me soon, love? I do stand-by wha' I said, love. I'm no' goin' t' force ye to consummate our marriage on our weddin' night. We can wait fer as long as ye like," Adrian assured her with a tender kiss upon her forehead.

"I know." Lucina mused, her voice trailing with the slightest hint of song. "But I want to marry you. And I want to consummate the marriage on our wedding night..." She said, her voice softer now as it trailed off. "I was just thinking we would set a date." She offered gently.

Adrian smiled as he captured her lips in a long, slow kiss, "Name th' day. Your dress is nearly finished, as is Lori's, so whenever their ready we can get th' Priest t' marry us. D' ye wan' t' marry in th' church 'r in th' field? If ye wan' t' marry 'fore winter, love, we'd best marry within th' next month 'r so, though."

"So soon." Lucina smiled from excitement, curling herself closer to Adrian. "I think we should marry in a field." She pondered as Lucina was slightly put off by churches. She liked nothing better then to be out in the open weather, the hair playing games with her blond hair and her bare feet on the ground. For such a happy and joyful day, Lucina couldn't imagine why anyone would want to be stuffed indoors.

"Why no' th' one by th' river, love?" Tha's th' closest one 'n' it'll be beautiful by then," Adrian grinned as he lifted her chin and placed tender kisses upon her lips, feeling over-joyed and rather giddy that Lucina wished to marry him so soon.

Lucina felt her toes curl under Adrian's kisses, the familiar butterflies floating in her stomach as she tangled her hands in his hair. "I love you, Adrian." Lucina whispered gently against his lips, her leg hooking over Adrian's. "And I cannot wait to be your wife." She smiled before pressing herself closer to Adrian.

"I love ye too, Lucina. I can't wait t' marry ye," Adrian murmured against her lips between kisses as his arm hooked around her slender waist and pulled her close.

Lucina melted into Adrian's frame as she continued to give his lips tender kisses before resting her forehead against his. "I'm starving." She laughed quietly as she realized they had slept in most of the morning. "Breakfast time?" She asked with a smile.

"Of course. Go get dressed, I'll be there in a minute," Adrian said with a warm smile and one last tender kiss before standing from the bed and getting out a set of clothes for the day.

Lucina smiled as she danced out of Adrian's room and went to her own to change into a pale white dress that floated to her knees. Lucina paused to set her hair into a ponytail and wash her face before going downstairs, into the kitchen. Lucina made her way to the bread and set a couple slices into the toast maker before putting it on the stove. Looking around the kitchen, Lucina took an apple from the counter and nibbled it absentmindedly as she waited for Adrian, easily ignoring Lori in the kitchen who was only a few feet away from her.

Lori rolled her eyes as she sipped her tea. "Mornin' t' ye too," Lori mumbled as she awaited Adrian with a sigh.

As if being summoned, Adrian descended the stairs momentarily and headed into the kitchen. "Mornin' Lori, sleep well?"

"Aye. Johnny was over this mornin', invited me t' th' Byrnes' Ball," Lori said quickly as before sipping her tea.

"'n' I suppose ye wan' t' go, aye?"

"Aye. It would be a great opportunity fer ye t' show Lucina around, 'ave th' town meet yer fiancee," Lori tried to coax as she walked over to Adrian and smiled up at him coyly, "Please Adrian?"

"What say you, Lucina. Byrnes' Ball?" Adrian inquired with a wink as he looked over at Lucina.

"Sounds fun." Lucina smiled happily, hoping that Lori would take her enthusiasm as a small peace treaty. Lucina attends the ball and Lori stops her tantrums, thought Lucina knew that her hope would be fruitless. "I'm not sure how to dress for a ball though." Lucina pondered, more to herself as she nibbled her apple. At least not one on Earth... She mused silently, of course she knew how to dress for a Goddess Ball. But they were always overly extravagant and she was sure that no mortal could come close to topping such a gala.

"I'll show you!" Lori said a bit too quickly before looking at Adrian, "If you'll go?"

"We'll go," Adrian said with a laugh as he ruffled Lori's hair gently, "Run along and tell mom. We'll get breakfast ready."

Grinning, Lori hugged Adrian tight before running off to her Mother's bedroom and telling her the news.

Adrian simply chuckled as he took out the basket of potatoes and set seven large ones on the counter. "Peal those for me love and chop them? I'll go collect the eggs and bring them in," Adrian murmured softly against Lucina's lips between tender kisses before heading outside with a basket to collect eggs from the coop.

Lucina only nodded in response as she plopped into a nearby chair and began to peel the potatoes with a small vegetable peeler. Though with Lucina's luck in cooking it wasn't long before she had peeled a piece of her finger causing her to cry out in response. "What the?" She asked as the pain stung in her hand before looking down at the ruby colored liquid spilling out her finger. Mumbling curses, Lucina hurried over to the sink and ran her injured finger under the cold water, a bit disgusted as the water turned a faint red color. "Of course there'd be no bandages around." She mumbled unhappily, not wanting one of Adrian's family to catch her mistake.

"Lucina?" Lori inquired as she popped her head into the kitchen, "Ye alrigh'? I though' I 'eard a scream."

Noticing her finger at the color of the water, Lori giggled softly before going to the cupboard and searching through the medicine basket for the bandages. Finding none, Lori found a clean cloth and ripped off a section. "Here, le' me see."

Taking Lucina's finger, Lori took the bigger part of the cloth and began cleaning the small wound. When the dirt had been removed, Lori tightly, but not too tightly, wrapped the ripped part of the cloth around Lucina's finger and tied it.

"There, it should stop bleedin' in a wee bit. If it doesn't, wash it again 'n' pu' another cloth 'round it," Lori said with a smile before taking the bloodied cloth to the sink, pumping water into it to wash out the cloth.

"Thanks." Lucina said bitterly as Lori was the last person she'd wanted to be seen with a peeled finger. Going back to the potatoes, Lucina settled back into the chair and began to peel the rest of the potatoes with a disappointed pout on her face.

No sooner had Lori left did Adrian return with the eggs. Seeing Lucina's pout, Adrian ran his hand through his hair before placing the basket on the table and sitting beside Lucina, his hand resting upon her knee as he leaned against the table and tried to catch her eyes, "Wha's wrong."

"Nothing." Lucina smiled gracefully, tucking her injured finger beneath the potato she was peeling and leaning forward to give Adrian's lips a quick kiss. It was bad enough that Lori had seen her make a mistake, she didn't want Adrian to see it as well. "You shouldn't worry so much." She teased before bringing her attention back to the potatoes.

Adrian laughed as he placed a tender kiss upon her temple, "Per'aps I wouldn' worry so much if ye jus' told me wha' was wrong instead o' makin' me guess."

Picking up the basket, Adrian headed over to the stove. Getting out a pan, Adrian lit a small fire and set the pan upon the rack to get hot. Putting a dollop of butter into the pan, Adrian waited for it to start to melt before adding in enough eggs to feed the entire household.

"I'm fine." Lucina laughed, still hiding her finger as she started to chop the potatoes though it was soon when history repeated itself and Lucina found her finger sliced by the knife. Cursing under her breath, Lucina brought her hands to her lips where she sucked on the blood, hoping Adrian wouldn't see her injured fingers as her previously cut finger was out in the open at her lips.

"Those potatoes jus' abou' done love? These eggs 're startin' t' cook," Adrian said as he looked over at Lucina. Setting the pan on the counter after noticing her finger, Adrian frowned as he took her hand in his and saw two cut fingers. "Lucina..."

Taking her finger into his hand, Adrian gently led her to the sing and pumped water onto the cut, "Ye need t' be more careful me love," Adrian said with a warm smile as he tenderly caressed her cheek and placed a warm kiss upon her lips. Tending to her wound in the same way Lori did, Adrian finished tying the knot and placed tender kisses upon each of her fingers before pulling her close for a hug, "Ye'll be th' hang o' it, Lu. Jus' give it time. Does i' hurt?"

"I was being careful." Lucina pouted, her attitude peeking out as the water ran pink with her blood. "Of course it hurts, Adrian." She said, her voice stern. "I cut my fingers." She hissed as her features contorted into a frown.

"I was hopin' me kisses might o' made it feel a wee bit better," Adrian said with a warm smile as he caressed her cheek, "Always 'elps Lori 'n' it always 'elped me when I hurt meself as a boyo," Adrian admitted with a light laugh.
